A delightful mix of light, sunny & tranquil, homely comfort. The main bedroom is spacious with views of Table Mountain. The second bedroom has two single beds, splashes of colour, sunlight streaming in. Gas heater.
The kitchen is well equipped open plan onto living room, gas stove, 6 seat dining table, views of Company's Gardens & Table Mountain. The ideal place to relax.
The bathroom has large shower & bath. 24 hour concierge & secure parking. Shared pool & communal play area. Battery on WiFi
The space
Loadshedding (Loss of electricity):
The apartment does not have a generator but the building has solar power so that lifts and passage lights still work during loadshedding.
Apartment has a mini-UPS that keeps the Wifi going .
There are very nice cordless (rechargeable) table lamps for lighting and a gas hob for cooking and boiling water.
Apartment therefore is quite comfortable even when power is off, and for remote workers, you can certainly carry on working.
You just wonât be able to charge your laptop and phone during loadshedding, so you have to be diligent about charging when the power is on.
There will also be no access to television during loadshedding.
The apartment is a delightful mashup of fun, bright whimsy and tranquil, homey comfort.
The main bedroom is spacious in cool greys, with views of Table Mountain to be had while sipping on the morning's coffee in bed.
The second bedroom with two single beds, splashes of colour, and sunlight streaming in is ideal for younger travelers.
The kitchen is well appointed and looks on to the living room, the large dining room table, and to the Company's Gardens beyond - the ideal place to make memories sharing food and wine and spending late nights on the couch or balcony contemplating life and the mountain!
The bathroom, cleverly designed to let in natural light, is spacious, with large shower and bath.
The building has one main entrance with 24 hour security and access control.
There is access to swimming pool and playground in the shared gardens of the complex.
The city center is a mix of old and newâand history is all around you. But this neighbourhood is far from stuck in the past, with its micro coffee roasters, unique clothing boutiques, decor shops, markets, and trendy restaurants and bars.
Parking is a scarce commodity in the city which is why having a private parking bay in the basement of the building, with lift to 3rd floor, is so convenient.
However getting around in the city itself is so easy.
Walking during the day is perfect, buses or taxis for the slightly further distances are all around you.
We do not recommend walking at night if you are alone or without a specific destination in mind. Take well lit streets and keep your belongings safe and out of site.
Uber taxi service is my chosen way of getting around the city affordably and reliably.
