Ahwatukee Home-Mountain Views, Large Pool, Hiking, Peaceful, Clean & Comfortable
Welcome to Southwest Mod, remodeled with touches of the West. Clean, comfortable, quaint neighborhood.
AHWATUKEE LOCATION: 10 minutes to Sky Harbor Airport, 5-30 minutes to Tempe, Chandler, Scottsdale and Gilbert. 10-30 minutes to several spring training facilities. Casino and Golf courses nearby. Two blocks to South Mountain trailhead. Close to stores and restaurants!
Resort style backyard with mountain views, eating and lounge area, fruit trees, propane grill and firepit. Pool is NOT heated.
Family room: one couch and one loveseat. Also, a pub table for additional seating. Enjoy Netflix, Hulu and live local channels.
Kitchen: Fully stocked, remodeled kitchen for all your cooking needs. Dining table seats four and there is additional seating at the pub table or enjoy a dinner on the patio.
Bathroom 1: Remodeled bathroom with freshly cleaned white towels and a full bath.
Bedroom 1: Twin beds with nightstand and a dresser. Beds are firm. There is a pillow topper on each bed.
Bedroom 2: Queen bed with mattress topper, dresser, and nightstand.
Primary Bedroom: California king bed, large dresser, workspace (high speed internet) and walk in closet.
En-suite bathroom: Stand up shower with faux rock flooring.
Outdoor area: Large covered patio with dining for four and lounge chairs. Pool is large and inviting. Pool is NOT heated. Mountain views from the front and backyard. Pick fruit off the fruit trees and enjoy a smore around the firepit (wood provided).
You may park in the garage. I have a small three row SUV and it is a tight fit. If your car doesn't fit, no problem! Park in the oversized driveway or your may park your car in front of the house. Plenty of parking! Please avoid parking in front of neighbor's houses.
We reside in Ahwatukee and will be there to answer any and all questions. We are close to the property and can be there to help if needed!
Pool is not heated. Generally swimming occurs from Late April to September depending on your comfort level.
Pool does not have a fence. If you have non-swimmers, I have the Safety Turtle pool alarm. A bracelet(I have 2 of them)is placed on the child's arm. If the turtle bracelet touches water it beeps. Must be tested before each use. This is in no way a lifeguard or takes the place of parent supervision but it is an extra barrier.
A lot of people haven't heard of Ahwatukee. In fact, I never had either before I moved here a year ago and fell in love with it. It is located in the East Valley and the neighboring towns are Tempe and Chandler. It is a very quaint town with everything you need nearby.

I am from Gurnee, Illinois a suburb of Chicago. I went to College at the University of Iowa, then moved to Colorado. Once we had kids, we moved to Arizona. I just keep moving west! I enjoy spending time with my family. We like to go on vacations, hike, swim, and play board games. We also like to thrift! I love being a host. I used to be a teacher and I stopped working once I had kids. Opening and short term rental has been so rewarding. I love hosting families and sharing our town with them. I treat every person as if it were a friend coming to visit. It is so rewarding and I am so passionate about providing a great experience for our guests.

I love that our neighborhood is quiet and friendly. I love going outside and seeing the beautiful mountains. I love that we are centrally located and can get to pretty much anything in the Valley in under 30 minutes.
Vad som gör detta boende unikt
You could eat off of the floor at the rental! As the host, I also do all the cleaning. I pride our rental in being extremely clean. The house is so cozy and cute and I would love to hang out there if I were on vacation. I love the huge backyard and pool. The firepit and fruit trees make a great treat for out of town guests. Plus the miles of trails walking distance from the rental make it extra special!
