Octagon House: Otrolig utsikt över bergen, privat men nära allt

Du kommer att älska din vistelse på Octagon House. Hemets form möjliggör bästa möjliga åtnjutande av den panoramautsikt över bergen och det verkligen sätter naturen in. Det finns fönster och skjutdörrar perfekt beläget för att maximera utsikten. Verandan lindas runt huset, vilket gör att utrymme kan njutas utomhus. Och för att toppa det kan du avsluta varje dag med en perfekt utsikt över solnedgången över bergen.

Hemmet ligger mycket nära Smoky Mountain Visitor Center och är bekvämt beläget bara några minuter från Franklin. Restauranger och shopping är en kort biltur bort. Huset ligger också nära stenbrytning, kajakpaddling, vandring och vattenfall. Tillgång till hemmet är lätt. Det nås genom att svänga på en asfalterad väg utanför Hwy 441 strax söder om Franklin, vilket leder till en kort grusväg. Uppfarten är grus med bara en liten klass.

Hemmet är redo för din nästa fjällsemester. Allt du behöver tillhandahålls! Köket är fullt utrustat och sängkläder tillhandahålls.

På bottenvåningen finns en öppen planlösning. Köket, matplatsen och vardagsrummet är öppna och har utsikt över bergen. Köket har totalrenoverats med rostfria vitvaror och bänkskivor i kvarts. Sovrummet på bottenvåningen har en king size-säng och direkt tillgång till badrummet. Badrummet har stå upp dusch och inkluderar tvättmaskin / torktumlare.

Den andra våningen har ett loftområde med ännu bättre utsikt över bergen! Om du vill titta på TV eller filmer finns det en HD-tv på loftområdet. Soffan är en bäddsoffa och kan sova två. Det finns också ett däck från andra våningen loftet att njuta av. Sovrummet på andra våningen är stort i storlek och har två enkelsängar (en tvilling är en rulla) och full storlek säng. Sovrummet sover fyra. Det finns ett komplett badrum med badkar på andra våningen.

This is our second time staying at the Octagon House and it did not disappoint. It is clean, well-stocked, convenient, and has beautiful views. My best friend and I stayed there with our four young children and there was plenty of space for everyone.

Wonderful Stay with a great view

This is a great property with a amazing view, It was a total different plan from what we were used to. But we and the kids loved the stay and the view was amazing and the drive was really smooth to the property and they had the essential stuff that was needed for cooking, Games and books for the kids.

Rock show hideaway

Great location to the Franklin Rock Show and off of main 4 lane road. Great house with beautiful views.

Comfortable with beautiful views.

We had a very restful stay. It was very quiet and peaceful but close to everything. This is the second time we stayed here and we celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary. We can't wait to come back for our 50th!!!

Wonderful Thanksgiving getaway!!!

Our family of six had plenty of room and everything we needed for our four-day stay. Great location! Easy to get to Highlands and Bryson City, which we enjoyed walking around the small town shops. Loved the views from the house and definitely the scenic drive to Highlands, NC. We look forward to returning next year!

Very Relaxing

The property was very clean, the kitchen is well stocked, and the bed was very comfortable. It is a quiet neighborhood and the porch almost wraps around to provide different views. The drive up to the property is manageable. We really enjoyed our stay at this property.

Exceptional property

This was one of the best rentals I have ever stayed at. The house was beautifully located, had all the amenities needed, was clean and comfortable, and was even better than advertised. I could have sat on those porches and looked at the scenery forever! A definite if you are looking at a vacation rental in the Franklin area!

Loved it!

Excellent getaway spot. Only negative about the stay was the 1 tv and the eeriness feeling at night because of the locked basement that you're not sure what or who can be down there....if not for that this location is an easy 5 star.

Quiet Location

This house had views as advertised, and is located in an extremely quiet area. The beds were a little firm for our liking, but that is just a personal preference. Everything else was great.

Wonderful!

It was clean, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, great shower (didn't use the tub upstairs), large deck downstairs and small deck upstairs. The view was amazing! We hope to stay there again and again in the future. Be sure to follow directions and look for the mailbox so you will know where to turn right onto gravel road. There is a large house on left and a house on the right as you go down the gravel drive.

Clean property

We had a wonderful time. This was the cleanest place I have stayed. Go to Mark Dowdle Rd. It is much easier. If you take Prentiss from the north GPS will take you around a two path.

Great summer rental

We stayed here for 1 week and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house is very comfortable, clean, well equipped, spacious, light, peaceful. Good location for access to Franklin, restaurants, and other nearby attractions. Loved the windows opening to great views of the mountains. Wi-fi and internet connection was pretty unreliable, may need a new, better router. We turned it on and off numerous times, but couldn't get consistent service. Otherwise would highly recommend this rental home.

Clean, well stocked kitchen!

The property has everything for meal prepping! We prefer to cook for ourselves and everything was available! We always travel with some of our own utensils and spices, but this property has more than we ever imagined in a kitchen! And the organization of the cabinets is top notch that we’ve seen in home rentals. The cleanliness is nearly perfect. No detail missed. The bird feeders on back deck will provide hours of entertainment. The early fall views are gorgeous.

Wonderful vacation

The house was lovely, clean and accomodating, esp. how thoroughly appointed the kitchen was, with great cookware, storage, etc. The fridge was wonderful, and we loved the lighting. We enjoyed sitting on the porch gazing at the mountains. The location of this house was very close to our destinations, groceries, etc. The only difficulty was the heat buildup upstairs (the air conditioning vent in the upstairs closet was inadequate to cool the bedroom and sitting area, and we were uncomfortable using it, including sitting to watch television. We feel this should be remedied or a the very least included in the description of the home on VRBO. Having said that, we enjoyed our stay.

We live near the beach in Florida. After making multiple trips to Franklin several years in a row, we decided to buy a home there. We love the mountains and love the Franklin area. It is a great jumping off point for so many activities. We especially love Dry Falls (on the Highlands Road) and going gem mining.

Varför värden valde detta boende

The shape of the house is so interesting and feels very spacious inside. We love that the house is easy to access (no long, climbing drives), but feels very secluded. But, what really sold us were the views.
