Ligger vid basen av Cullasaja River Gorge, 5 miles från Franklin, erbjuder flodkabinen enkel tillgång till vatten. 17 miles från Highlands, NC. Koppla av på det öppna däck till ljudet av rusande bergsvatten eller ... ännu bättre ... hoppa in!

Köket är öppet med ett matbord och en barplats. Det är utrustat med köksredskap, redskap, disk, kaffebryggare, brödrost och mycket mer. Stugan är fullt utrustad med sängkläder, sängkläder, handdukar och filtar. Däckområdet har gott om utrymme att njuta av naturen, koka gasgrill eller bara koppla av vid vattnet. Kabinen har Wi-Fi och XM-radio. Boområdet är utrustat med en platt-TV (med Netflix) och DVD-spelare med ett sortiment av filmer. Det finns också två inneslutna verandaområden som är perfekta för regniga dagar. Plus rör, kajaker och eldstad!

Excellent Water Therapy

The house is cute and has everything needed for a relaxing and calming time. Being able to sit outside and listen to the water rushing by and taking a quick dip or raft, kayak trip was also a wonderful experience. My doggo also had a wonderful timne playing and he felt super relaxed in the space as well.

Lovely cottage on the river

This charming cabin on the river was perfect for our 3-day stay in the Franklin area. Furnishings were comfortable and the cabin was cozy and warm during the cool evenings. The deck looked so inviting but the drizzly cold weather kept us from spending our evenings out there. Next time!

Fall Escape

This property is ideal. Right on the river. Can walk down and wade or sit in chairs at water. Minutes from Franklin. It does have neighbors across river and beside home but that didn’t take away from peaceful location.

Beautiful and Relaxing

We were looking for a relaxing cabin on a river and THIS was the perfect place! 4 days of beauty right out the back door! While enjoying coffee each morning and a cold beverage at night, we were drawn to take in the view, the sound of the river and the peacefulness of nature. We will definitely be back!

Short vacation

A weekend getaway for my husband and I at Rivers edge cabin. We went to Highlands, Dry Falls, and Franklin. Rivers edge is very peaceful, it was nice to sit on the back porch, drink coffee and listen to the water. Husband fished our first night in the river behind the cabin, and caught a bass! Nice place for relaxing, peace and quiet.

Stay on the river.

I can't say enough good things about this stay. This cottage was a perfect get away. Lots of little things they thought of, nic nac basket with some of the things you may have forgotten. It is right on the river and that made the warm weather o so much easier to handle.

Weekend Stay

Overall our stay was nice. The river was the best part of the location. Having kayaks and tubes were a fun touch. The firepit was nice but it would have been better to have seating out for us to enjoy. The home was clean and had what we needed. I would suggest updating the furnishings at some point. They were not the most comfortable and I found it hard to relax while inside. Overall we had a nice stay but for the price would not book again due to lack of comfortability and amenities.

Not cue for relaxing

I stayed with my grand daughter. It was an end of summer vacation and to get ready to go back to school. We really liked hearing the running water and playing in it. I would say that if you have a small child you may want to bring a life jacket if you plan to be in the water.

Relaxing river retreat

We enjoyed our time. The house was very well supplied and clean. The river was beautiful, enjoyed sitting outside in the mornings and evenings.

Great family get away

We enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and perfect for us and 2 kids. We enjoyed fishing in the creek and caught a few trout. We enjoyed playing games at night and built a bon fire. The location was perfect. We were able to visit some nearby waterfalls and drove south to Tallulah falls and Clayton Georgia for a day as well!

Fishing cabin

So, it was a very cold monday when I got there. Found the baseboard heaters and cabin was comfortable. This spot in the river is mesmerizing. It is an older, rustic cabin but was very comfortable, everything worked, and check-in and out was super easy. I'd definitely stay here again but would love to try it in the summer.

NYE 2023

The house and property was very clean. Location was perfectly located in between Franklin and Highlands. Our boys loved the water front access. We had a wonderful time as a family and look forward to returning.

Comfy Cabin

Spent Thanksgiving with husband and daughter at this lovely cabin. Thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. Went horseback riding, spent time at Gold City Gem Mine nearby, and was just down the road from Dry Falls. Franklin nearby for lots of restaurants and shopping. House had everything needed for cooking. It was so very clean and inviting.

Amazing cabin on the river

We spent a few days relaxing this fall in this cabin with the sounds of water moving in the river while enjoying the deck and the screened in porch, amazing! We loved everything about this place and hope to return again one day.
