Welcome to Hancock Haven! This delightful house is situated in the heart of the Green Mountain National Forest. Youâll have access to some of the best hiking trails right at your fingertips. Just 3 miles away is Texas Falls, and a little further is the Long Trail access. Whether you love hiking, biking, fishing, or swimming, youâll find it all right outside your door. Take a scenic drive along Route 125, visit the birthplace of Robert Frost, and enjoy a walk on his Interpretive trail. Or simply kick back in the backyard and soak in the beauty of the flower gardens and breathtaking surroundings.
The large backyard is a wonderful space for kids and adults alike to play and explore safely.

My journey began with an animal rescue group before I found my calling in caregiving. This house holds a lot of special memories for me since I grew up here. At the moment, I'm residing in the historic homestead next door, built in 1875 and once owned by my great-grandparents, alongside my partner of 13 years.

Whether youâre into hiking, fishing, skiing (downhill or cross-country), snowshoeing, swimming, tubing, or more, thereâs something for everyone.
Hancock Haven is bright and airy, thanks to an 8-foot picture window in the living room. The open layout allows for easy conversation no matter where you are in the house. Oh did I mention, thereâs also a sliding glass door that leads to a spacious 20-foot deck.
