The City Townhouse @ Short North Arts District

You'll love the location and character of this updated vintage brick townhouse, just steps to the vibrant Short North Arts District! Walk everywhere for the weekend: less than 5 minutes on foot to great dining and nightlife (Condado, North High Brewing, Paulie Gee's Pizza, Kroger grocery store). Walk a little more to Ohio State (15 mins to the south end of campus), or down High St to the Convention Center (25 mins). Please note: the stairs are very steep!

You'll arrive and park on the street in front of the building (we are in a permit parking area, but we can set you up with an overnight parking pass for $3/night). Use the keypad lock to let yourself into the building. The first floor has a living room and eat-in kitchen stocked with basic amenities (cookware, dishes, etc.) and a Keurig coffee maker. We will provide a few coffee pods to get you started.

The full bathroom is off the kitchen, and has a shower stall and laundry. Moving upstairs (please note, this is a vintage building and the stairs are somewhat narrow and steep) - one bedroom has a queen bed and the other has two twin beds. The upstairs bathroom is accessed from the hallway and has a soaking tub (not enough head room to use this as a shower).

We live nearby in the neighborhood and we're easily accessible if you need anything or if you are looking for recommendations on things to do - but typically our guests let themselves in with the keypad lock.

The "Dennison Place" neighborhood of Columbus is the best area for a traveler who wants to experience the vibrancy of the Short North Arts District (we're at the northern end of the district), the grandeur of Victorian Village architecture (to the southwest), and yet still be a quick walk (25-minutes or less) to The Ohio State University and Columbus Convention Center / downtown.

Park your car and walk! Or, if you're not up for the walk, Uber and Lyft can usually be at the door to pick you up within seconds! Actual walking times:
*5 minutes to great dining and nightlife (Condado, North High Brewing, The Table, Paulie Gee's Pizza, Kroger grocery store). *15 minutes to the south end of Ohio State's campus. *25 minutes to Ohio Stadium. *25 minutes to the Columbus Convention Center. *40 minutes to MAPFRE stadium.

This building does share an inside wall with another townhouse (please inquire about booking both sides together), so we ask that our guests keep noise to a respectful level after 9pm.

The TV does not have cable or access to any free live channels. It is a “smart” TV only. You will need to log into your own streaming accounts to play content on the TV.
