The cottage was clean and comfortable. The beds were great. The kitchen was well supplied with everything. David the host was cheerful and helpful. Lovely location on a quiet street with access to hidden gem beaches. The air conditioning was perfect!

We loved the little cottage. It was in a great location, only a 3 minute walk to turtles and sunsets on the beach. The cottage had everything we needed. The outdoor shower was a big plus and the vegetation surrounding the property was beautiful. The fans and air conditioning allowed us to keep a perfect temperature. It was a welcoming, relaxing and authentic experience. We would definitely stay again.

The home and yard were exactly as described, peaceful and has everything you need. David is a wonderful host. The road it’s on has several shoreline access points and it’s very close to the beautiful Hapuna beach. We’ll definitely be back. Maholo for having us.

Perfect divers dream! Real hawaiiana. Place is comfortable and nice. Has an outdoor shower, lanai, garden oasis. Perfectly located-beach across the street for watching turtles and sunsets. Some of the best diving nearby.

We loved staying here and we will be back. It was private. The AC works great for the hot afternoons. The bed is comfortable. Lots of ice and 2 Britta filtered water canisters so no need to buy bottled water. I especially loved all the birds, pigs, cats and chickens that rome the street.

Great Spot

Can’t beat the location - quiet, private and close to great beaches. Owners were friendly and welcoming. Cottage was well-stocked and exceptionally clean. We loved our stay!

This cottage is a wonderful home base for a stay on the Big Island. It truly has all the comforts of home, including a well-stocked kitchen, comfy beds, 3 separate AC units that do a great job keeping the place cool and comfortable, plenty of beach towels and beach chairs, etc. Relax on a chaise lounge on the front deck amidst lush tropical vegetation and watch the local wildlife go by - we saw everything from giant wild turkeys to tiny green geckos. We are scuba divers, and Puako Beach Road has multiple amazing shore dive sites within a minute or two of the cottage. The General Store has tanks, weights, and anything else you need for diving —- plus delicious cookies and all kinds of other treats. The cottage’s outdoor shower makes it so easy and convenient to rinse off dive equipment and beach gear at the end of the day. Then stroll 2 houses down to the nearest shore access to watch the sunset over the water! The owner lives on the property and is very helpful if you need anything - otherwise you’d never know he’s there. But be sure to ask him about Radiant!

Cute cottage

Absolutely loved our stay at the cottage. The host and hostess were especially gracious and allowed us to visit with their pet pigs. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.
