Perfekt tillflyktsort bergstuga på platta i mitten av Plott Balsams, belägen på avskilt 5 tunnland i Sylva Vista underavdelning. 2 / sovrum och 1 / badrum med katedraltak, vedeldad spis. Rött ekgulvgolv i hela. Täckt veranda med gungstolar. Höjd 3600 'med enastående bergsutsikt! Massor av vandringsleder runt stugan.

Vårt område har all den charm du söker när du besöker västra Carolina bergen och många spännande områden på kort avstånd att utforska, som Asheville, Maggie Valley, Cherokee Indian Reservation, Harrah's Casino, Gatlinburg, Great Smoky National Park och Western Carolina University. Alla ligger inom en timmes köravstånd från stugan.

The property had everything we needed and the view was very nice. The road to the property was well maintained. The host was very attentive to our needs and she went out of her way to help. Highly recommend this cabin for a quiet get away.

We had the most relaxing weekend! Cabin was so clean and wonderfully stocked. Beautiful cabin, area and views. Owner was so kind and helpful. I left my tablet and she called to tell us. We were already an hour away so she is going to mail it to me. Highly recommend staying at this cabin!!

Peaceful quiet getaway not far from everything

This private log cabin allowed us to get away from it all and enjoy nature (including a big tom turkey who came to visit). The hosts were wonderful and the property had everything we needed for our 4 day weekend. Just right for the two of us! Clean and comfortable - had a wonderful time!

Beautiful and Serene

This short getaway for my husband and I was magnificent thanks to the beautiful cabin, peaceful surroundings and unique town in Silva. The trip up the mountain was a thrill and there are so many cool shops and bookstores in downtown Silva, it was hard to decide whether to stay in or venture out! Communication with Lisa was incredible - she was quick to reply, informative, and so warm and pleasant. We will definitely be back!

Excellent place to unwind. Wish we had more time to spend here, very quiet and relaxing. We used only the master bedroom and had plenty of room. I would highly recommend!!!

Home away from home

This place has really become our home away from home. This was our fourth time and we enjoy the experience every time. The peacefulness of the area and the great view accentuate the loveliness of the cabin. The hosts are always great and easy to communicate with. If you need a quiet place to get away (while also not being far from shopping or outdoor hikes, this is the place to be.

Stunning View w/ Outstanding Host

This cabin was all that my husband and I hoped for in a getaway for our annivesary! Lisa is the most thoughtful host that we have ever had and the cabin is all that is listed and more! The peace and quiet was so needed and this cabin offers it like nowhere we have ever stayed. I highly recommend Balsam View cabin! You will not be disappointed. Comfy beds, clean and well stocked. It checked all the boxes.

It was perfect as I was hoping. It was the first time in a cabin rental. It was exactly what I needed and couldn't have been better. I need to come back when the weather is better so I can enjoy the outdoors more.

A great place to stay to experience a “high up mountain” Log Cabin. The owner is very attentive to all the little details of this house rental which is appreciated.. There is no dishwasher or washer & dryer as part of an updated and nice kitchen but the overall value of the rental minimizes this if you are a short term house guest. If you want to experience 3600 feet up and into the mountains you will love this rental. Owner is very responsive to text messages. When you leave your stay here, you will appreciate being away from it all!!! (Do suggest keeping the gas barbecue new and a bigger updated version such as a Weber GS2) If the outdoor fire pit is permitted in the County it would be helpful to offer a supply of logs at a reasonable cost. The pit needs new up dated chairs and the rocks fixed.

My husband and I love Western North Carolina. We enjoy hiking, gardening and Saturday morning farmers markets in Sylva and Franklin. There is so much to do in Western North Carolina and you are surrounded by nature. This is what we've always wanted and dreamed of to live in the mountains!

We always wanted an authentic log cabin and this one is amazing due to the high quality craftsmanship of the cabin. This cabin is 'one of a kind' due to the long range mountain view and elevation at 3,600 feet. Also, the covered front porch with rocking chairs is pure serenity! If you want peace, tranquility
and time to get away from it all~~then this is the cabin for you!

Real log cabin; Modern Blaze electric fireplace; vaulted ceilings; outside fire pit facing the mountain; backyard picnic table with grill; hiking trails from the cabin; surrounded by nature! Wild turkeys frequent the property and are very entertaining to watch from the front porch. You will not only relax at this cabin, but you will go home and want to return again and again!
