Det är gated, med parkering. Det finns en utomhuspool med bord och stolar, solstolar. Villa Mare är ett exklusivt bostadskomplex som består av två byggnader, beläget framför en av de finaste stränderna på östkusten, El Cortecito, Bavaro. Det är ett privat projekt med 14 lyxlägenheter och med förstklassig efterbehandling.
Dess design är en blandning av medelhavs- och viktoriansk stil, som är harmoniskt belägna. Komplexet har frodig landskapsarkitektur.
Dessa lägenheter har gemensamma gasanläggningar, central luftkonditionering, tillsammans med luftkonditioneringsapparater i varje sovrum. Det finns 24-timmars säkerhet och enkel åtkomst till stranden som ligger bara 25 meter bort. Vi har gratis WiFi.
Vår lägenhet är en vacker, välskött strandlägenhet med allt du behöver för en bekväm vistelse. Den rymliga interiören är smakfullt inredda. Köket är fullt utrustat med alla köksredskap, diskar, prylar, brödrost, kaffebryggare, mixer, tekanna, handmixer, juicer, kryddor, kylskåp, gasspis med ugn, vattenkylare för vatten på flaska, mikrovågsugn, strykjärn och strykbräda och tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Matbordplatser 6. Vardagsrummet har 2 bekväma stolar, soffa, soffbord och TV. Du hittar en bekväm dubbelsäng med en lyxmadrass i ett sovrum och bekväma dubbelsängar med lyxiga madrasser i det andra sovrummet. Det finns gott om garderob med inbyggda hyllplan. Ett kassaskåp tillhandahålls för att hålla ditt pass och värdesaker. Det finns en stor terrass att koppla av på, med ett bord och 6 stolar för uteservering. Dessa lägenheter ligger mittemot den magnifika stranden Los Corales / El Cortecito med tusentals svängande palmer. Kort promenad till två stormarknader - BAM och Ciccolella.
Det finns ett kafé / bageri / restaurang som heter Dalia. På El Dorado Plaza finns skönhetssalonger, apotek och gym. Restauranger finns i närheten och kollektivtrafik är mycket bekvämt. 10 minuter från Centro Medico Hospital Punta Cana och Hospiten Bavaro Hospital. San Juan Shopping Center har 2 stora stormarknader - Supermarket Jumbo och Pola, en Pizza Hut, Burger King och en glassbutik, bland andra företag och restauranger. En kort bit bort ligger Palma Real Shopping Center med Moviemax teater, restauranger, banker och butiker. Golfbanorna är Barcelo Bavaro, Cocotal Golf, White Sands Golf, La Cana, Punta Espada och Punta Blanca, Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore Golf Course och The Links at Casa de Campo. El Gym ligger i närheten, som ligger på El Dorado Plaza. I närheten finns också buss, motorscooter och taxiservice.

It was rundown, the pool was green and out of commission for 29 of the 35 days we were there. We spent many hours waiting on people to come fix things. Toilets towel bars, water machine. I would only stay here again if we had a different unit.

GREAT Location!

I spent three weeks in April 2023. The best thing for me was the location. Fifty feet from Bavaro Beach and several beach restaurants/bars. Just a five minute walk to stores, restaurants, casino and groceries. The property is a bit on the older side but with some future improvements it's just fine. The pool was beautiful when attended to. Overall I was satisfied. The best feature by far was the owner Laurina. She truly cares about your stay and your happiness and will immediately try to solve any issues that arise. I recommend for anyone looking for the non AI experience.

Nice Condo, Close to Amenities

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo unit. It is on the 3rd floor so there are stairs but it was a great way to get some exercise in. We lived most of our time on the balcony which was super large & completely covered overhead if there was rain. Being on the 3rd level was very nice as we got the wonderful ocean breezes & no mosquitoes or other insects. That was a real bonus for us. The condo was clean & spacious & everything we needed for our 3 month stay was provided. Laurina Holte was very friendly & accommodating. If we had a question or problem she took care of it immediately which was greatly appreciated. We had to pay for power up front & the difference would be calculated at the end of our stay. Laurina owed us money in the end and she was very prompt at issuing us a refund. The condo Unit is in a very good location. The ocean is across the street & there are many restaurants & mini markets within a very short walk. We definitely would recommend this condo unit & would like to thank Laurina for the opportunity to stay there & all her help.

Stay away

The location is the only good part of this property. The listing is inaccurate as the property is not 25 feet from the beach. Across the road is a sand parking lot used by vendors and tour operators and to get through to the water it is a maze of vehicles and boats. The pool was not open during my 20 day stay there and at the end of my stay (at another location) 22 days later they had started working on it. The unit is rustic with doors that overlapped and the main bathroom did not have a lockset. The main area air conditioner would not work even with many requests to repair. The water cooler and dispenser was in pieces in the kitchen for the first ten days. The main bed was not a queen but something smaller on a mismatched frame underneath. The landlord owns three units in the buildings and the other 11 units are owned by another group and construction was going on in all of those units. The noise and dust from that was unbearable. On at least 5 occasions we had no hot water or water at all because of the construction. The main deck however is very nice however there are no handles on the sliders on the outside to open and close same???? I have 92 photos of the property and the unit. With the help of VRBO support I was thankfully able to get out of the arrangement.

Lovely week in Bavaro

My son (20) and I had a lovely stay in Laurina's condo. It's a third floor unit that catches all of the ocean breezes. The weather was so beautiful that we never had to use the air conditioner. And the large wrap-around, covered balcony is a nice feature. The beach is across the street (which I should add is dead end, so very little traffic). . We would bring the beach chairs down with us and hang out by the Huracon Cafe. That way if we wanted drinks, we could just order from there. We never used the pool as we prefer the beach. The condo is in a nice little neighborhood. It is an easy walk to many restauants, a bakery, and a couple of small grocery stores. We intended to cook more, but found that we would make breakfast and lunch at home and go out for dinner. We did not rent a car and did not need one. There is a security guard at the front gate around the clock. The only con, as mentioned in the previous reviews, was the music coming from the restaurant behind the unit. Laurina was quick to refund the security deposit and electricity deposit. And she is very quick at answering communications.

Overall a very good vacation rental.

My wife and I have been vacationing in the Caribbean for over 30 years and have a pretty good understanding of what constitutes good value for a vacation. Additionally we rent a property out in Canada and know what our customers expect. This property is in a great location with direct access to a wonderful beach and a short eight minute walk to restaurants and grocery stores. The apartment was clean and very functional with an amazing terrace that we ate our meals on, played board games on and just sat and relaxed, read and enjoyed afternoon cocktails. There were a few minor issues that needed attention and we are pleased to say that the landlord,Lorena, reacted quickly to resolve. We felt some of the things should have been brought to her attention before we arrived but appreciated her eagerness to deal with them as soon as she was made aware. The condo administration needs to follow her example and be more responsive to issues under their control...pool maintenance.....broken pool-side lounges and chairs....minor irritants that should have been dealt with quickly. The pool's water was not very inviting for the first few days but once the proper balance of chemicals was found became a favourite cooling off area for us. We were able to take beach chairs from our condo unit to sit on and so that problem was solved through Lorena's forward thinking as well. The only other negative would be two things beyond our landlord's control. The noise from the restaurant beside and behind us started early and ended late requiring windows in our bedroom to remain closed. The noise from loud loud music across the road near the beach was often annoying but in fairness usually ended before we went to bed. It is reasonable to expect some noise if you want the benefit of proximity to the beach and other amenities but for those wanting a quiet and totally peaceful time this might be a problem. Overall a very good month with wonderful weather and a good value vacation. We appreciate Lorena's concern and responsiveness. Will most likely return.

Not exactly a luxury apartment with first class finishings.

First, I must say that the owner is very attentive and will work to resolve problems, unfortunately she has a local manager who does not appear to be responsive. When we had an issue I always had to include the owner in my email before there was any response. We had several problems that detracted from our ability to enjoy our vacation either because of the problem itself or because of the local manager not being proactive. The owner did make a well appreciated effort to compensate us for these problems. As for the apartment itself it could be much better with some TLC. For example, there are no screens on the patio doors or several of the windows so they could not be left open. The apartment was not cleaned properly and had a musty odor in places along with stains on the ceilings.

We are a retired couple who fell in love with Punta Cana, and after an extensive search found Villa Mare. We immediately decided that this would be where our vacation condo would be. We now have three condos in Villa Mare: 901758, 4350373; 4350298.

Varför värden valde detta boende

This is more like a Villa than a large, multi-family apartment building. It has only 14 units. We liked the perfect location across from the beach, the spacious and beautifully landscaped exterior, the generous size of the units, and the convenience to supermarkets, restaurants & shops.

Quite, comfortable third-floor condo with a large terrace to relax on. You can cook in the spacious, well equipped kitchen or walk to nearby restaurants. Just 25 meters from the beach, which is across the road. Our able administrator will help you select tours, or you may select a tour company from a list which you will find in our condo, along with restaurant information, golf course information, etc. Our administrator is very friendly and is always willing to help our guests. There are no hidden charges.
