Amazing Location

The best part about Scott’s place is the amazing location. It’s a less than 10 minute walk to both Short and Long Sands Beaches. The pictures are pretty accurate and the house was pretty well cleaned when we arrived. A few nit-picky things to consider: air conditioners in the bedrooms were very loud. We just had to turn them on ahead of sleeping. Bring extra paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap. Overall, we hardly spent time at Scott’s except to drop off our beach gear between outings, shower off, and sleep, so it served its purpose.

Cozy house in Great location

This is a great spot, it was our second time staying there. Close walk to both beaches, it's a really great location. One thing to be aware of if you have small children is that there are several sharp corners. Other than that it's a perfect spot for a small family.

Perfect vacation home

The property is located between both Long and Short Sands beach, both walk-able. Super clean, well-appointed and had all the cooking items we needed. Lovely, quiet neighborhood. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Perfect Stay!

This was our 3rd year staying here for our family vacation and it was perfect as always! Walking to Long or Short Sands is a breeze. The house is well stocked and perfect for the four of us. Scott is great to deal with. Always very responsive and helpful. Can’t wait to come back next year!!

Magical York Vacation

We’ve been coming to York,ME for family vacation for over 25 years! We’ve rented several properties-some repeat and some new to us….this year we decided on this adorable rental for the week and once again York, ME did not disappoint! Exactly described and had immediate responses back from the owner with any questions we had! Our family will definitely come back to this property to enjoy more magical memories!!!! Great spot for small family!

This was our second year in a row staying at this lovely little home. It's just perfect for the 4 of us. Walk to either beach is easy. Neighborhood is pretty quiet. Scott is very responsive and friendly. Hoping to come back every year!

Our Maine getaway

We are a family of 5, two adults and 3 children ages 2, 4, and 7. We truly enjoyed our stay at this beach house. Just the right amount of space for our young family, super close walking distance with our beach caddie or stroller to either long or short sands and the fun that goes with both places! Awesome deck space! No bathtub but super easy to shower the babes with one of us! Absolutely the perfect location and we had everything we needed!! Scott is super responsive and communication was fast and easy! Definitely looking forward to renting here again, thank you for this opportunity!!

Great house

This house was perfect for our little family - and accommodated another couple with an infant as well. We loved the open concept feel, the spacious porch and the fact that we could walk to both beaches with ease.

Amazing as always

My son refers to this as our home away from home. We have been lucky enough to stay here every year for the past 6 yrs. Recent updates to the property were great. Scott is always responsive and easy to work with. We hope to stay here again for many more years to come.

Very nice stay!

We enjoyed the home and the proximity to both Long and Short Sands beach. Plenty of room for myself, two teens and my Mom. Neighborhood was relatively quiet and friendly.

Perfect Location!

We loved it, exactly as described! LR/kitchen area is spacious and comfortable. Our weather was awesome so we spent most of our time out on the deck. Large deck with seating for 6 and a large gas grill ready to go! Location is spot on, right between both beaches! Easy walk either way! My husbands comment was “I could easily spend the summer right here!” We’ll def check availability for our next trip!

Disappointed Describes 2021

Sadly, after having rented this property a year ago when we would have given it an 8 of 10, this year we struggle to give it a 4 of 10. Lacking in quality is the key phrase. Everything from cleanliness to communication was better in 2020 than 2021. From leaking faucets to ants, from dirty carpets to lack of any amenities, sadly you get what you pay for. But wouldn't it be nice if you got just a little more? It would certainly make for a more enjoyable stay and allow for a more favorable review/ Lights that didn't work and others that couldn't be turned off. No directions for television and wifi that wouldn't connect. We learned a valuable lesson. If you want a camping experience this is the place for you. If you want a vacation experience, pay a bit more and find yourself happier in the end. We'll go down that path in 2022 in York Beach, Maine as we celebrate our 33rd summer the way life should be.

Pleasant Surprise

Perfectly centered chalet style house between the beach , the Lighthouse and the town which made walking to both super easy! Quiet, comfortable setting and Scott was very easy to communicate with. Off the main strip which is a huge plus if your goal is to just relax! Thanks Scott!!

Great location

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. The location is walking distance to either beach. Nice airy open room concept with small but adequate sleeping quarters. The grill needs updating (rusty) and was not usable to us but no other complaints. We would recommend.

A perfect situation!

My husband and and our two teens stayed there for the week. The host is very responsive and helpful, the place was clean and allowed everyone enough space to not drive each other crazy! The location is five minutes from short sands or lining sands. I was pleasantly surprised! We will definitely be back!
