A beautiful hidden gem in West Bath, Maine.
Welcome to Birch Point!
Feel like spending some much needed time relaxing by the beautiful Maine coast? Want to feel the salty sea air on your face while sipping your early morning coffee or evening cocktail? Or how about grilling some steaks or cooking a lovely lobster dinner for family and friends? Then this 4 bedroom, 2 bath coastal cottage is perfect for you! With open ocean views of Winnegance Bay in historic West Bath there is not one bad view from anywhere inside or outside the house. Feel like kayaking or paddleboarding? No need to bring those because this places has 4 of each for you to use! With Birch Point's deep water dock (which is shared with one other neighbor), you can launch yourself into tons of outdoor fun! Want to rinse yourself or the dog off after a swim? There is an outdoor shower to help you with that. You can't go wrong with this place.
So now that we've talked about the outside and all the fun it has to offer let us tell you a little bit about the inside! Upon entering the home you enter through the large three season "hangout/ game" room, which includes a ping pong table, dart board, board games and poker set (perfect for entertaining). Walking into the actual home you will notice the first 3 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 with 2 twin beds, bedroom 2 with 2 twin bunk beds and bedroom 3, the primary, with a king size bed and it's own ensuite bathroom with stand-up shower. Moving past the bedrooms you will walk down 2 steps into the open concept kitchen/ dining/ living area. Bedroom 4 is off of the kitchen and has a 2 twin trundle bed that can stay as 2 twin beds or can turn into a king size bed. Also off of the kitchen is the second full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Inside the living area you will see a large flat screen TV, a beautiful fireplace (for those cool nights) and beautiful sliding glass doors that go out onto the covered wrap around deck.
On top of all this, just a few steps away from the house, there is a garage with a screened in porch on the water that is available for tenants use.
Please note: A wonderful little perk to renting Birch Point: If you wanted to buy lobsters there is a delivery service where they can be ordered and delivered to the dock for you. Need we say more?
