Spektakulära hus vid vattnet nära Courtenay och Comox

Vårt hem i Buckley Bay, har 200 fot privat strand. Huset ligger inbäddat bland höga träd med otrolig 180 graders utsikt över Bayne's Sound, BC Coastal Mountains och Northern Gulf Islands. Detta är en vacker och avkopplande plats att bo!
Huset är perfekt för en familj eller två par. Vi tillåter högst 4 vuxna att stanna. Om 6 vuxna familjemedlemmar vill stanna, är vi OK med det. Det stora sovrummet är på övervåningen och har en queen size-säng. Det andra sovrummet är nere och har en queen size-säng och en uppsättning våningssängar. Två badrum, ett på övervåningen och ett på nedervåningen. Stort vardagsrum. 44 "LCD HDTV - Kabel-TV och Google Chromecast för att strömma Netflix eller filmer från din telefon eller surfplatta - DVD-spelare. Sten spis. Trådlöst internet / WiFi. Enjoyed our stay there. Missing a few kitchen items but we left a note and I am sure they will be addressed. I would stay there again.

Blissful stay in Buckley Bay

The house is beautiful, the surroundings serene. It made for a wonderfully relaxing 4 days. So much to see from the deck including the ferry to Denman Island across the way. Playful seals kept us entertained just off the beach, where we had a fire in the fure pit

Great Getaway

Off the beaten path a bit, easy access to Highway. love it! Very quiet and safe. Great fish shop and ferry to Denman hornby island close by. Good Communication. View is gorgeous! Will come back in the warmer months!

Nice oceanfront property

The house was very clean and centrally located for our needs. Close to shopping and dining plus hiking and biking. Right on the water for great views. John and Sue are great hosts and gave us good information on things to do.

Summer Vacation on Vancouver Island

My family had a great time at the Beach House. We explored the Trent River looking for fossils and swam in the shallow pools, swam and paddle boarded in the Comox Lake Dam, and mountain biked in Cumberland. There isn't a lack of activities to do in this area. We also relaxed on the deck overlooking the view of the water and Denman Island. We took a day trip to Hornby Island and went to Tribune Bay to laze on the beach and take a dip in the ocean. I would definitely recommend this home to others. Make sure to bring ear plugs for the upstairs bedroom as it is next to a road with loud vehicles, but this is minimal compared to everything else that is wonderful about our stay!

Perfect getaway

What a great spot! A beautiful property close to so much. We spent our days skiing at Mt Washington then relaxing by the beach. Super clean and comfortable.

Nice property with easy access. Character of the home was great and great view of the ocean.

Great spot. The only thing I would suggest is a bit brighter signage for the address. It was a nice and relaxing home to stay in.

Very Relaxing Spot

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Buckley Bay! We had our toddler in tow and the playpen/baby gate available were greatly appreciated. Lots of grass for our little one to run around and we loved exploring the beach out front. The house has everything you could need to feel at home (the beds were especially comfortable). We can’t wait to return and will be recommending it to our friends and family!

We live next door to the Beach House (the 2 houses are on the same property, but private to each other) and look after all our bookings and deal with our guests directly. We are originally from the UK and emmigrated to Canada in 1992 where we lived in Alberta for 10 years before moving out to the coast!

Buckley Bay Beach House is a great spot to have a holiday, whether it is just for a quick week end or for a week or more - there is so much to see and do in the area. It is perfectly located to explore central and northern Vancouver Island.
If you like hiking, golfing, skiing, boating, kayaking, biking, swimming, fishing, beach combing, caving, mountaineering etc (the list goes on) - this is the place to be!

Waterfront, on an acre of land, private location. Courtenay and Comox are just 15 minutes away along the very scenic coastal highway. Mt Washington Alpine Resort and Strathcona Provisional Park are just a 30 minute drive away. Horne Lake Caves are just down the road, Campbell River (great whale watching tours) is just up the road. Cumberland with all its fantastic bike trails is only 10 minutes away and is a funky, vibrant village.
