The location was perfect for landscape photography. The surrounding trees were in full autumn attire. We loved the privacy of the property. The decks and firepit were inviting to spend time outside.

The property was amazing overall! My only minor complaint (and it’s not really much of one) was that there were lots of little beetles everywhere that looked like ladybugs but weren’t. They were a bit of a nuisance, but otherwise, everything was wonderful!

We absolutely loved this peaceful getaway! Carol truly thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The home was beautifully decorated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to relax and unwind.The fire pit was always ready for an evening of relaxation, conversation, and memory-making. We also appreciated the homemade maple syrup Carol left for us, a thoughtful and delicious treat that made our stay feel even more special.

Very nice cabin. Recent upgrades like lights and fans. Cute and cozie. Property /yard was huge and well taken care of. Wonderful fire pit area!!

The Hideaway cabin is on a beautiful piece of property off the beaten path. The cabin has all the amenities you need! I highly recommend visiting Westby and staying at The Hideaway!

Everything was perfect! Cabin was decorated nicely, had everything we needed. The weather was wonderful, got to enjoy sitting on the porch and around the fire pit. Loved the privacy and the closeness to town. One of our best trips.

Fishing getaway

The cabin is very clean and organized and has everything you need. Great location to get to all the best fishing spots around. Carol is great as well and very welcoming! Thank you for a great stay.

Clean comfortable cabin. Quiet atmosphere with views of wildlife and birds from cabin windows. Well equipped kitchen. Deck and firepit are an option to enjoy the outdoors. We had rain showers so didn't have the opportunity to be outdoors. Because of the severe weather predictions (rain, possibility of strong winds and hail) the owner anticipated our cars should not be outside with the predicted severe weather. She opened the garage near the cabin to protect our cars from the severe weather. We were very appreciative. We enjoyed our stay. I would recommend. ,

Beautiful peaceful location

Cute place in a nice secluded location. We couldn’t find the a/c, but weren’t at the place long enough to contact the host. Nice rooms, all items we needed were there. Would stay here again!

A very well kept cabin. Really enjoyed our stay! Very peaceful. Everything you need is there. The outside is maintained real nice. Plenty of wood for a fire in the pit out back. Very secluded area outside of the towns nearby. Carol, the host, was amazing! We would definitely stay here again!

Carol was an excellent host and very responsive to questions and needs. We enjoyed our stay here for our girls weekend. The cabin was quiet and private. We liked that it was located in the country and away from city traffic/noise. Carol also had it decorated very nicely for fall both inside and out. We would definately come back again!
