We had an incredible stay with family in August 2026. The property was even better than we could have imagined and the hosts were so friendly and helpful. Perfect location on the island and wonderful serene mornings spotting seals and birds and kayaking the shoreline with our rented boats. We definitely hope to return one day!

A wonderful home! Our 3 generation family enjoyed this beautiful, comfortable home with its fabulous views of Penobscot Bay. Well stocked kitchen, large screened porch, responsive hosts. Hosts are local, year round residents so very personal touches abound. Some of us have been coming to Deer Isle for 80 years, and this was the most spectacular setting we have enjoyed. Hope to return!

Beautiful home,beautiful view. We could not have asked for more. Highly recommend our host. They made sure to check if we had everything we needed. It was a very peaceful location with a quiet beach just steps away.

A Perfect, Peaceful Coastal Getaway! Our stay at this light-filled oceanfront home was absolutely incredible. The house itself is beautiful, clean, and incredibly comfortable. Honestly, the views of Penobscot Bay are so stunning that you might find yourself spending your entire trip relaxing on the front porch overlooking the ocean. Cooking on the grill and enjoying it by the ocean sunset was super! Nicole was a wonderful and welcoming host. She was highly responsive, answered all of our questions, and provided fantastic guidance on things to see and do around Deer Isle.If you are looking for a peaceful Maine retreat with breathtaking views and top-notch hospitality, this is the place to book. We cannot recommend it enough!

My husband and I had an amazing stay at Nicole and Richard’s home. We had everything we needed to ensure a relaxing trip. Plenty of kitchen supplies, bath towels etc. Everything was in great working order. The home was comfortable, cozy and clean. Would love to come back!

This was one of the most spectacular homes we have ever rented on VRBO. It far exceeded our expectations. The home was beautiful with an unmatched view of the water. The decor was welcoming and comfortable with all the necessities. The hosts were very helpful and eager to please. Deer Isle and the surrounding towns were delightful to explore. We would highly recommend this home to anyone seeking a relaxing and comfortable stay in beautiful surroundings.

Nicole and Rick, thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. We stayed there in September and, the setting is so lovely, we had our small (6 person) wedding ceremony in the back yard! The house is fantastic, the yard and view and beautiful, and you are both incredible hosts. The layout of the house made it easy to have guests - everyone had plenty of space. And I could live on the back porch! Thanks for everything!

Where do I even begin? This home provided us with the perfect spot for our summer getaway to Maine! As it is the owners’ primary residence, the house truly felt like our home away from home for the week. The house was perfect for our family’s stay with big tables for family dinners; games, puzzles and a pool/ping-pong table to keep us busy when we weren’t out and about or swimming. And that is the best part — the property’s view and beach transport you to your own private Maine oasis!100 out of 10 stars! This place was PERFECT!

This house is a slice of paradise! The house is very cozy and clean and was so perfect for our trip. We had four adults and four kids and there was plenty of room. There is air conditioning in the main room and the master bedroom which was a life saver, as it was 90 degrees for two of the days. The coolest part about the place is the property itself. The backyard is luxurious with areas to relax around a fire pit, or you can walk down the beach stairs right to the waterfront. Our kids played with kayaks, paddle boards, and swam nonstop. Because it’s shallow and calm waters, it was easy for the kids to swim. And the water is actually warm for Maine! You can’t go wrong with this place. Finally, the host is very responsive and was available for any issues (not that we had any). Also, after we left we realized we left something there and there was no hesitation on her part to mail it to our house. Overall was the perfect weekend!

We are well acquainted with Deer Isle summer rentals throughout many years but this year we hit the jackpot with this house! Fantastic location on the water close to Deer Isle center and 15 minutes drive to Stonington. The house itself is beautifully decorated, super comfortable and Spotlessly clean! In the kitchen nothing was lacking and we enjoyed many dinners at home either in the dining area or in the outside enclosed patio with wonderful views of the beach and water. Our hosts could not have been nicer and welcoming. Thank you for sharing your home that provided us with a wonderful and memorable family vacation.

Beautiful secluded house on the water in Deer Isle, Maine. The hosts are very friendly and attentive and were very responsive to all of our needs. Excellent location for a quiet and relaxing weekend.
