This is an amazing property! The views are awesome, the amenities are abundant, the location is wonderful, and the host is top tier. This property is perfect size for large families who enjoy traveling together. Plenty of space for puzzles, games, and movies. All of which are provided! Our kids loved the table tennis, Yahtzee, and chess! We even had firewood available for the outdoor fire pit. Although not technically handicap accessible, access was great for seniors with limited mobility as there were only two small steps into the home and everything needed was located on the first floor. The home was extremely clean, abundantly stocked, and well furnished! As for the location, this home is conveniently located just minutes from gas stations, restaurants, resorts, grocery stores, state parks, artisan and coffee shops, and event venues. All together this is a great property and I would definitely recommend!

Great house. Beautiful location. It felt like we were part of the community. The yard was big and felt like the evergreen trees surrounding it created a good screen from neighbors. The porches were so nice to sit on. We ate most of our meals outside. The house was clean and fresh. Heat and hot water were great, esp the fireplace- so easy to switch on and off.

We enjoyed staying at Thistle Dew while visiting Blackwater Falls State park and surrounding areas. The place is great and ideal for staying with family and friends. Highly recommended!* suggest an illuminated house number and properly marked driveway for convenient night time check-in.
