Relaxing at Rock Creek

This was the third time at this wonderful home on the banks of Rock Creek. The owners are the best and I cannot overemphasize that as they truly care that your stay is the best possible. I have no reservation in recommending this destination.

just perfect for our fly-fishing group of guys - right on the river !

5 of us old retired guys for a week fly fishing trip on 3 rivers around missoula- had planned on eating out most days, but kitchen area and grill were so good we stocked up on breakfast stuff and had steak/chicken/salmon for dinners very quiet place - host was perfect - called to see if we got in OK, and made sure we could call if any issues, which there were none if we come back, we will stay here again !

MT Fishing Adventure

Aileen and Joe were awesome hosts! Property is nestled right next to Rock Creek amongst the mountains and within 90 minutes of all major fishing rivers. We had 6 in our party and had plenty of room and everything we needed. I hugely recommend staying at this property.

Excellent Stay

My family and I stayed at Rock Creek Meadows over graduation weekend and had a great stay. The house is beautifully situated right on the creek and comfortably slept 11 guests. We really enjoyed the solitude and scenery. The house is well equipped with everything necessary for a big group. We cooked three meals a day and didn't find ourselves missing anything. We took a trip into Philipsburg for an afternoon, which was a nice and scenic drive. Thanks for the great stay!

Amazing

Group of 5 on a fishing trip. As usual Aileen and Joe's place was perfect, and they are fantastic hosts. This was my 3rd trip here and it was as beautiful and serene as ever. Moose in the pond to greet us on arrival. Weather was hot, so fishing was tough after noon, but it didn't matter. Love, love, love this place.

June 2020 stay

We loved the property. Unfortunately Rock Creek was blown out during our stay, but nothing you can do about that. A storm came in on night #2 and deposited 2.5" of rain on top of the swollen creek. We spent the better part of 2 days inside the cabin watching the rain come down, but what a great place to have to spend time inside. The property was clean, cozy and the setting great. We would definitely come back here again.

True Mother Nature doesn't always cooperate with our guests agenda! While the cabin will certainly be just as cozy next time you return, let's hope the sun shines a bit more on your group!

Wonderful!

Everything about this rental was terrific...the location was amazing, kitchen well equipped, the trout stream right out the door. We celebrated my grandson's 1st birthday and mine of a certain age during the week. We were there in November and lucked out on the weather...warm enough to read a book out on the hammock in the afternoons. If you are looking for total relaxation in what my son promised as "an epic Montana experience" this is the place. Aileen was a pleasure to work with. Don't hesitate for a moment!

Magical Setting!

We thought this was going to be a great place to stay from the pictures but, even though they are beautiful, they just can't do it justice. The landscape is stunning. The views from every window and the porches are breathtaking and ever changing throughout the day and evening. The house itself is comfortable and spacious with everything you could need. We loved the dark, quiet nights. I cannot say enough about how kind and generous Ailene, the host, was. She really stands out among all the rental hosts we have worked with. The only thing we missed was seeing a moose! Next time.

What a wonderful relaxing vacation. Trout stream out the back door? Heaven!

The house was equipped as stated. It was wonderful that we didnt have to worry about bringing the little things. Layout was great bed was comfy and a trout stream out the back door? Priceless! There were hooks outside to hold wet waders. And the flowers were such a sweet touch! We saw moose, deer and a bald eagle. I just do hope you can trap that little kitty! Thanks Aileen. Exceeded expectations

The cabin, location, wildlife and Aileen exceeded expectations. The description and pictures do not do this property justice. I have stayed throughout Montana and this cabin/property was the best. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and completely outfitted for any cooking or household need. We stayed 8 days with 6 men and were more then comfortable the whole stay. The fishing was good right out the back door and the location was perfect for a base camp to fish all of Rock Creek. The property was was secluded and quite with phenomenal views from the decks. We saw moose (daily), deer, eagles, elk and river otters. Aileen was great and made sure to answer any questions or meet any needs we had. You will not be disappointed with this cabin and property.

Serenity

What an amazing property! There is a view from every window and every direction. We didn't want to leave! Three generations of family met here to celebrate my sons graduation from high school. Nobody was successful with fishing but everyone had a great time! We saw so much wildlife...moose, deer, beavers, an eagle, and fish we couldn't catch! My favorite part was sitting on the back porch in the porch swing watching and listening to Rock Creek, which is more like a river than a creek. We had no idea how close it was to the cabin. It is literally feet from the back door. We slept with the windows open so the sound of the creek put us to sleep. So relaxing. Ailleen, you have an amazing cabin that is clean and stocked with everything you could ever need. We are already wanting to plan another trip out to your cabin next year!

Quiet peacefulness

This property is so quiet, rural, and peaceful. We come from the city and this stay was a true recharge of all of our batteries. We pray we can come visit again in the future.

Perfect spot for a fishing family

Aileen is such a great host. We had two families with 5 kids ages 3-8. We knew the fishing would be spectacular, but challenging to have little kids around Rock Creek all day. The fishing is unbelievable, but the Creek is very strong for little kids. Aileen had so many great things around the house to keep kids busy. It was a very welcome surprise, and made our stay even more enjoyable. The pond on the properly was perfect for kids to fish for a little bit, then they’d transition to wiffleball or disc golf. The views are spectacular, wildlife is abundant, and we caught fish non stop. Rock Creek is literally at your doorstep, and on the first night while manning the grill i caught a 17” cutbow in between burger flips. Just an incredible experience, and we can’t wait to come back again!

Great Montana getaway

Great cabin in a beautiful location. Pet friendly. Our Aussies loved the property. Anyone looking for privacy, peace and tranquility will find it here. The owners live on the property and we were fortunate to have the opportunity to meet them :-). We look forward to going back.

Fantastic Property

We had a great experience at this home. Owners were super and very responsive to any questions. It’s in a beautiful location with a big yard that was great for the kids and games. It was the best equipped home, with everything from yard games to kitchen appliances, I’ve ever rented. It’s remote and secluded with no phone signal so print up/download checkin instructions before heading out. The Wi-Fi worked well once you checked in.

Amazing!

My husband and I had a party to celebrate our wedding at this property. Aileen was just SO helpful and wonderful to work with. The property is beautiful and the cabin is so cozy. It was truly amazing and I highly recommend staying here!

Serenity in nature

Pictures cannot do justice for the beautiful cabin and location. We loved the cabin and were impressed with how cleaned and well stocked the home was. We instantly felt at home but still on a magical vacation. Views of the pond, stream, hills, pastures and wildlife were beyond enthralling. We look forward to returning soon.
