Private and secluded, with spectacular sunrises! The home is older, with plenty of character, and is comfortable and well appointed. We really enjoyed the peaceful setting and being able to relax and take in the view. A wonderful place for a getaway—we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

What a lovely experience all around. Our host, Anna, was great to deal with throughout the process. The cabin is located up a ridge and it has spectacular views off the back deck. We sat on the deck every morning watching the sun come up over the line of mountain ridges. The cabin is comfortable and nicely furnished; I can't think of anything more we would have wanted. The kitchen has everything you need (we cooked our meals rather than going out) The location was good both for access to hikes and wilderness areas and to Dahlonega. We hope to stay there another time, because it's a beautiful part of the country.

We were very please with our stay in the Woodland Cottage. It was clean and well appointed. The cottage was close to several wineries we visited and had a lovely view.

Beautiful, cozy, quiet retreat in the north GA mountains. We were in town for a wedding close by and this place was perfect for 4 adults. We had plenty of room to relax and get ready. I hope we get to stay here again in the future.

This is a unique and special cabin. Our group of 6 ladies loved staying here. We used this as a jumping off point to visit some of our favorite wineries in the area! The host has excellent communication and is very easy to work with. I would definitely stay here again!

Woodland Cottage

Pretty area on the mountain side. Steps to get into the house and a steep driveway so I wouldn't advise it for anyone with mobility issues. It is a pretty cottage with nice but somewhat limited views in the summer from the balcony. It was sqeaky clean with plenty of linens for 4 adults. The management was great to work with.

What a view!

The view was absolutely phenomenal. We spent a lot of time on the deck just soaking it in. The cabin itself was fine. It felt like a friends’ family cabin more than a rental - which has pros and cons. It worked well for us and we would definitely recommend it!

The cabin was fine, with the exception of many "stink" bugs. And it would have been nice if someone had blown the leaves off the walkway and the deck. My mom has to walk with a cane and she could have slipped with as many leaves that were down. The deck was full of leaves/acorns. You could tell it had not been cleaned off in a while.

Thank you for your feedback and for staying at the cabin. We’re so sorry about the leaves on the deck and walkway. We had blown them off about a week before your visit, but with the cabin being surrounded by trees, they tend to pile up quickly this time of year. We’ll be sure to pay extra attention to that, especially before guest arrivals. Regarding the seasonal bugs, we perform quarterly pest treatments but they can still appear occasionally when temperatures drop. While there are significantly more upsides to being a cabin surrounded by trees, there are a few unavoidable realities that come with being in nature.
