Nice apartment

Clean, quiet & comfortable. The apartment is down the hill from the ski resort but has a free shuttle every 15-20 minutes that takes you right up to the resort. You can also stow you skis & poles for free at Christy Sport right at the resort. The apartment is five minutes from town and there are free shuttles from Steamboat that will take you right into town.

Good, but.....

We really liked the condo, everything was nice in the condo and had everything you would need. The facilities and hot tubs were great. The location is convenient and has a frequent shuttle to the mountain. The only problem we had (which another reviewer also mentioned) was that the room that is advertised is not the one we were given. They advertise a king in 1 room, and 2 doubles in the second. Our second bedroom had only one bed. Our group was 3 single guys, so the main reason we picked this place was that we could each have a comfy bed, and avoid using the uncomfortable pullout. Had we known the condo only had 2 actual beds, we would have found a different place.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay - great location

I was a little nervous about staying at this resort as I was under the impression that it was farther away from the slopes than it was. However, there is a perfect view of the mountain, and it is just a simple drive up the mountain to the base. There is also a regular shuttle that comes every 10-15 minutes starting at 8am. It is directly across from the Wildhorse Gondala that takes you from that resort (with free parking) to the ski time square. The accommodations were impeccable. I was so impressed. I had a 2 BR and we had so much space it was crazy! The resort was very quiet, had a ton of extra things to do including a game room, 3 hot tubs, indoor pool, all very well maintained. I will definitely go back there over and over. Everyone we spoke to said they are regulars.

Unit not as pictured....

We recently booked this unit (or we thought) for a 4 night stay in Steamboat Springs. The Wyndham is a very nice place to stay, great customer service, amenities, easy shuttle to mountain, nice units, etc...however, the unit we were given is not what is pictured, we received a standard unit, not a deluxe, no mountain views as pictured, no jetted master tub as pictured, no double beds in 2nd bedroom as pictured. The unit was still nice and comfortable, but this listing is deceiving as the pictures are not what you get when you arrive.

Wyndham Vacation Resorts Steamboat Springs is a great resort! The entire resort is beautiful and was a sensational experience.The units are decorated nicely to fit the area. The resort is ideally located for skiing and close to so many other activities. Everyone on staff and the other guests were so pleasant. The relaxed atmosphere of the town and the resort are truly contagious!
