Great location when visiting Halifax

All of our family (5 adults and one 6 year old) enjoyed our stay at this property. It is centrally located and easy to access highways to visit attractions out of the Halifax area. The Dartmouth side of the city is a bit quieter but only a 10 minute drive to downtown Halifax to visit all of the major sites. Also close to many restaurants on both sides of the harbor. The street outside the property is a bit busy but nothing that caused a concern when entering or exiting the driveway. Lots of good information was available from the host on places to see or recommended food options Highly recommend this property.

Home away from home

Lovely and immaculate home that was close to everything. The hospitality of the hosts was amazing. We arrived to a home that was clean, inviting, and ready for us to enjoy a lovely stay. Portable ACs were already set up and running to cool the bedrooms during the heat of August. The home was as advertised and everything was thought of so we could have a stress free stay. Definite 5 out of 5 stars. This will be our choice of where to stay for any future trips to the Halifax area. We highly recommend this great property as a home away from.home.

Great Location and Wonderful House

The house is really convenient to the bridge to Halifax and lots of amenities. Walking distance to groceries and restaurants. The house is spacious. Only 1 shower. Top notch appliances. The beds are very comfy. Lots of great towels. The kitchen is well supplied with cooking utensils, pots, pans and dishes. Highly recommended.

Everyone liked this house!

This vacation home has many good things going for it. The location is very convenient and safe. Although it is on a busy road, the traffic slowed considerably once evening came; we all slept soundly even with the wondows open. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Inside the house, things are updated, there are many beds, lots of linens and the kitchen has a nice pantry. This property has good accessibility for people who have mobility issues. There is only one step into the house and the main floor has two good sized bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. There are two more bedrooms upstairs that share a bathroom with jacuzzi tub. There's also an extra sitting room with futon. Lots of options in this house.

A Visit to Nova Scotia

Great family vacation

The house is very large with two full bathrooms, four large bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room and backyard. The pantry worked very well for storage of groceries. The location is great - a short walk to Sobeys. Bus number 10 into the city stops near the house. Overall a great place.

Great home in Dartmouth

This property was lovely. During our stay we had the extra bonus of hurricane Fiona passing through. Our host, Jeff, was very accommodating and attentive during the power outage caused by Fiona, bringing a generator on site. Beautiful home. Meet our needs well.

Perfect for families!!

We came for our daughters wedding in Lawrence Town - my husband and I , our daughter, husband, grandchildren and our son! It was absolutely perfect for our family! 2 bedrooms upstairs for our daughter and her young family- centrally located- easy access to Halifax , Dartmouth and beaches! It was hot and each room had air conditioning plus many fans!! The kitchen was well equipped for eat in meals , the barbecue was easily accessible and having laundry was awesome with the little ones!! We were so comfortable there!! Will book again!!

Amazing House in Dartmouth

We stayed for a week for a family wedding and were very impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of the house. The decor was clean and minimal, providing everything we needed and more. There was plenty of space for our family and the location was perfect for exploring Halifax and Dartmouth.

Great Holiday

The house was great for the seven of us - four children - 10, 8, 4 and 2 plus three adults. Close to grocery stores, bridge to Halifax and ferry. Well equipped kitchen - but plates and bowls very heavy.
