It's clear that this little apartment is a labor of love! The decor is charmingly reminiscent of India, with careful attention to detail, and very clean. The mattress on the four-poster bed is firm and comfortable. Bedding is good quality, soft and warm. Towels are thick and soft. Outside there is a private, pleasant place to sit and think, enjoying the sound of a water feature. The cats are a delight, and don't get on the furniture or even come inside (except for one friendly boy who visited briefly), so shouldn't be a problem even for someone with a mild allergy.There were a few things we didnât like, but those had more to do with the fact that we're probably not the ideal demographic for this location. These caveats are shared not to criticize, but because, as an older couple with some mobility issues, we'd have found the information helpful With the murphy bed down, it felt cramped - we had to squeeze past each other and there wasn't really anywhere convenient to put our suitcases. The mattress on the murphy bed is good quality, but too thin to be comfortable for a heavy person. And access to the apartment was a challenge; you have to lift and carry suitcases along the gravel pathway, and there are a few stairs to navigate with no handrail.This apartment would be ideal for a couple in search of a romantic retreat while exploring the area, and it would work for two couples who just want a place to sleep.
