All members of the family were raised from a young age in the hospitality sector, and so greeting guests does not only come natural but is also a pleasure. Sliema is a vibrant area, but this area in particular is the heart of the city. Just across the road from the ferry boats, the tourist buses, and the route buses, you really are right where you want to be. Equally important is the fact that the street is a pedestrianized road, now dotted with little cafes, restaurants, shops, boutiques, supermarket, malls, etc. it is a joy when you step out of the door and find yourself in the midst of happy people going about their business, all with a smile on their face as if this place compels you to be on the brighter side of life. Sitting out in the balcony, just smelling the aroma of fresh coffee coming up from the cafes below, or that mouth-watering smell of something just baked fresh in the early morning just makes for the start of a great day. The rest is up to you..... and that is just the morning. Gold is south facing, and thus receiving natural sunlight for most of the day; well insulated and so neither too hot in summer nor too cold in winter. To us, and hopefully to you as well....this is just perfect.

We like to call Gold a fun place because whether you're enjoying a beer at the small bar and playing a game of pool with your staying friends, or else a couple, romantically enjoying the jacuzzi in its private alcove, makes us stand out. We don't aim for standardization, our goal is being different, unique, and unlike others....and that's what holidays should be all about.
