This is a favorite stay-away for my husband and me. The cottage is cozy, peaceful, and has everything we need. And the mountain view, flower gardens, birds, and beautiful surroundings are all bonus points. Sad to leave and already looking forward to coming back.

This cottage far exceeds the listing. Tom was a fantastic host and everything he recommended was better than advertised. We can't express how great a stay we had October 2026. This cottage is set on mountain overlooking the Hartland valley. You can't go wrong with Breeze Hill Cottage.

Oh my goodness. It took our breath away. It overlooks the Green Mountains with an unbelievable view. The cottage was cozy, well taken care of and full of character. The variety of birds present at their feeding area was incredible. The sheep feeding off the hillsided added to the Vermont ambiance. The red squirrel seemed at home in its little cove. We're from a big city so the country road to get there was something to adjust to but so worth it. We're planning on a longer stay next time. If you want to get away from it all and just relax, this is the place. Woodstock is nearby and so much to see and do. In the end, we just wanted to enjoy this beautiful property. A special place on earth. Just what we needed. Highly recommend this booking.

Breeze Hill Cottage was country comfortable & clean. The kitchen has all the appliances for prepping and cooking. The bath/shower/laundry was large and well stocked with great towels, and toiletries. The view over Hartland and the mountain range in the distance was dramatic especially in the mornings and evenings. We thoroughly enjoyed the domestic animals (sheep) as well as the not so domestic animals, the woodchuck, the chipmunks and squirrels and the wonderful birds feeding just outside the kitchen window. Thomas provided excellent guidance to local grocery, restaurant, and points of interest, including covered bridges.I'm hoping we return in the not distant future.

We had an amazing stay here! The location was perfect, close to nearby towns like Woodstock and Quechee but far enough that you get to enjoy the peace and quiet, especially with that beautiful mountain view right outside. The cottage itself is charming and cozy with lots of history, we loved reading the family’s stories. You can even buy maple syrup made from trees on their property. Would absolutely recommend!

It was neat and tidy, had an amazing view, and a wonderful porch for morning coffee, lunches, and dinners. We were very comfortable and really enjoyed our time there.
