The cabin on Little Sand Lake is a beautiful spot to relax. The fishing on this lake is outstanding!

Awesome Holiday Weekend

We had an amazing time over Labor Day weekend. The house was in great condition and the water “toys” were a huge bonus. Everyone had an amazing time and we would absolutely come back again! Thank you for an awesome stay! Pros: Pontoon, kayaks and paddle boat Plenty of space for everyone Near Itasca State Park (30 min) Cons: Number of plates - we had to keep doing dishes

Pleasant stay

Cabin was clean and spacious. Everyone enjoyed fishing and using the pontoon and kayaks, paddle board and paddle boat.

Wonderful Place

This cabin fit thirteen of us very comfortably. It was clean and had everything we needed! The use of the pontoon, paddle boat, kayaks and paddle board made it fun for everyone! Great fishing too!!!

Cabin getaway

Booked a last minute cousin family get together for a couple of nights, and it was the perfect place to stay! Authentic cabin feel, great location on the lake while still being close to town, check in process very easy, and good communication with owner! We are looking forward to coming back in the summertime!

Family Stay

My family had a great stay! We enjoyed the use of the pontoon and amenities that the property provided. The lake is a good size and was good for fishing and water sports. The property was big enough for our family of 17 and Kelly was prompt with communicating. It is a nice place!

Winter Family Trip

We stayed for 3 nights at this home over New Year’s Eve. The house had plenty of room for our big group. We had kids ranging from 1-17 and there was plenty of space for all and different things for all ages to do. The kitchen was nice and big and having two living rooms with TVs was great. We spent the majority of our time in the game room (which was super fun for everyone) we loved the dart board, bean bags and the pool table the most! Only thing missing was internet for the TV and Music. The fire pit by the lake was so nice to have on the colder days while everyone was out playing on the ice. Easy access to the lake was great for us who had four wheelers and ice fishing gear. The downstairs was a little colder than expected but did warm up once we found the space heaters. The owners responded very fast to any questions we had. We would book to stay here again!

Family Time

We’ve stayed at this property before with the same group of family. It’s a great location, quiet and relaxing! The owner/manager was willing to help if needed, but luckily we didn’t have any issues!

Family Vacation

This was our second time staying here. We love it because there is so much room to spread out. It’s so quiet and peaceful yet close to town. The cabin is so cozy and is very clean. Having the added bonus of the pontoon is a great way to enjoy the lake. We will be back next year! Thank you Kelly for sharing your cabin! So many great memories!

Great Week Up North

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. It was big enough for all thirteen of us from small children to a 90 year old great grandmother. We loved the boating options - pontoon boat, kayaks and paddle boat and used them everyday. Thanks for a sharing your home with us!

nice getaway

The cabin gives you the real experience of the lake, yard is a little small for a large group, but okay, and the shore line is not real attractive for swimming. But it has a nice dock and the pontoon is definitely a bonus. We would recommend it.

Absolutely breathtaking!

The house was amazing!!! It was extremely clean and was set up so nice! The views were amazing! We went with a group of families and brought up our snowmobiles and road on the trails. The set up is also so nice! A entry are in basement was great area for snow gear! Communication with Kelly was great! She always answered all of our questions in a timely matter! This has been one of the few houses I have rented that had so many extras!! Thank you for allowing us to start a new tradition with our family!!

We LOVED it!!!

It was really easy working with Kelly. He was able to help us with unlocking the door as my initial passcode did not work. The house was AMAZING! My little 2 years old nephew loves fish and this cabin was definitely filled with details for him. The pontoon was my family's absolute FAVORITE!! We fished every morning and evening. If you love fishing, you're on the right lake. If you're looking for a beach to take kids swimming, I suggest not to go to a different lake. Just take the pontoon around and you'll spot shallow clean areas, but be careful of drop offs. Cons: 1. BE CAREFUL OF YOUR TOES!!! You don't know how many times my family and I bang our toes on the dining bench. Thank goodness no broken toes hahaha. The legs of the bench sticks out so walk with caution. 2. The grill was not cleaned. I had to dispose the oil tray and it was completely full to the top. The grill sheet itself wasn't clean either. And lastly, there were no propane 😞. We ended up using the stove and oven on our grilling night. Overall, we had a wonderful time. My family is already keeping this cabin in mind for our future family cabin trips 😀

Get Away in Northern MN

This home was great for us because it had so many bed options, but for 8 women we found 2 bathrooms were not enough. The kitchen was big and well equipped. We had a little trouble getting into wi-fi because the password that was sent to us did not work. We finally found the correct one in the house rules sheet. We found we love the Park Rapids area, so this house is in a great area. Also, we felt it was a great value for all of the amenities that were included. Thank you!

Terrific Week Away With Family

We had a wonderful week staying with extended family and friends. The cabin is great, all the beds were very comfortable and we had fun evenings watching movies all together. We enjoyed the lake for fishing and tubing and took several rides by the pontoon to Zorbaz. The pontoon was a wonderful plus. This is a great cabin and Kelly was very nice and responsive. We had a great stay and would recommend this place.

We absolutely love the private view from our deck—unlike a resort, this is your own personal space to relax and enjoy. With a huge dock, pontoon included, and plenty of water toys like a paddleboard and three kayaks, you'll have everything you need for lakeside fun. Grilling on the deck is one of my favorite ways to cook, and our family enjoys swimming, paddle boating, kayaking, and taking the pontoon to the sandbar. For even more adventure, we love four-wheeling and snowmobiling, with miles of trails accessible right from the property. If you have your own ATV or snowmobiles, there’s plenty of trailer parking. On days when cooking’s not on the agenda, we take the pontoon to Zorbaz on the lake for delicious pizza, Mexican food, and cocktails. In the evenings, we gather around the bonfire, play board games, or watch movies.
