The house is situated on The Wild Atlantic Way
The Doohoma Golf Course (9 hole Par 3) is 1.5km away.
Belmullet is the nearest town (30 minute drive) with many bars and restaurants leisure centre and children's entertainment.
Carne Championship Golf course is a 30 minute drive.

Excellent location for relaxation, hill walking, cycling, water sports and sightseeing.
An area rich in Irish culture with traditional Irish music played in the local pubs 2km walk away (summertime)

UISCE an adventure centre with water sports is situated in Elly Bay 35Km away.
Westport, a thriving tourist destination is a 45 minute drive away.

The house is situated the villages of Roy, Doohoma 20Km south of Belmullet town and 18km west of Bangor Erris. The villages of Doohoma and Geesala are synonymous with the famous Playboy of the Western World& by John Millington Synge.

Erris was the winner of the Irish Times Best Place to Go Wild in Ireland 2014

The house has under floor heating throughout powered by a Geo-thermal ground sourced heat pump which gives a constant comfortable temperature in all rooms anytime of the year along with 24/7 hot water. This together with the ventilation and heat recovery system makes the house very cosy at any time of the year and especially off season and winter months
