About this space
Welcome to the Downtown Flat at Creekside, brought to you by Camp Potomac Peak! Located in the heart of downtown Berkeley Springs, take a walk to the park, grab some food--or a beer at the local brewery, and then relax back at your upstairs oasis--complete with cedar barrel sauna, and two outdoor decks to take it all in.
The space
The Downtown Flat is located right in the heart of Berkeley Springs. Within walking distance is Berkeley Springs State Park--with its famous natural springs, historic bathhouse, multiple spas, and cute, independent restaurants and shops.
Walk up a set of stairs on to the covered front porch, and you'll find this spacious apartment has everything you'll need for a perfect little getaway...
While this building is over a hundred years old, every surface and amenity has been fully renovated--from the brand new central air/heat down to the heated bathroom floor, and luxury shower.
Grab a soft robe hanging in the kitchen and step outside on to the large back deck, where you can relax in your private cedar barrel sauna, or just lounge outside and take in the sounds of the running stream down below. Whip up dinner on the electric grill, or easily grab some food in town.
After a full day of riding on our world-class mountain bike trails at Cacapon State Park, pop on a record, mix up a drink, and relax in the luxurious king bed.
While we don't encourage working while on vacation, there is a small desk space, and fast wifi available.
The Downtown Flat is situated above a soon-to-open, local, fresh-food market and deli (opening summer 2024).

We totally understand that things come up and plans may need to change. We allow one reservation change outside of the cancellation window. Requests for changes inside of the cancellation window will result in related penalties per our cancellation policy. I loved this place! It was well-designed and clean, very close to the Berkeley Springs State Park. The host was friendly and helpful finding where to buy what I needed. He was also very relaxed about clean-up when leaving. Deli below the room was friendly and had good food, very convenient. All in all, a great stay.

Such a wonderful place to stay, we were laughing that everything we wanted to do for the weekend was literally within a 5 min walk! Great restaurants around, the nightlife was fun, and the hospitality was top notch!

We enjoyed our stay here, clean property with everything you could want for a stay in Berkeley Springs. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby within walking distance. The hosts were very quick to respond to us when we had questions.

A Special Anniversary Stay at the FlatCreekside Flat was truly something special for us. We came to celebrate 46 years together, and somehow this little getaway became one of our favorite trips we’ve ever taken.The place was the cleanest we have ever experienced at check-in—absolutely spotless and so thoughtfully cared for. The 1970s décor was incredibly authentic and beautifully done. It gave the place so much character and charm without sacrificing comfort and matched the Era when we met. The bathroom was so stylish and the wonderful shower and heated floor made it feel like such a treat and the big, comfy bed was perfect for relaxing at the end of the day.We loved the sauna. It's a perfect pairing with a therapeutic soak at the springs just a short walk away. The town mostly shuts down Monday through Wednesday, while Thursday through Sunday there is plenty to see and do. But honestly, we didn’t mind the quiet at all. It gave us permission to slow down, and reconnect.As the song says, “Almost Heaven.” And for our anniversary, Creekside Flat felt pretty close to it.

Great location. Pretty much walk to anything in downtown. Flat is perfect for a couple. Easy easy for entertainment with the record player and everything you need is furnished. Big kitchen if you want to cook or make coffee. Will definitely be back.

This flat was so perfect for us. We enjoyed the sauna, comfy bed, record player, and all the cute little touches that made it so special. The location was great. The shop downstairs had delicious food and everything we needed.

Just stay here!
We could not have loved this place more. We’re in a road trip and only stayed one night, but we really wished we could have stayed here longer. It was clean, nicely decorated, and was very luxurious. We will definitely be back. Thanks Sam and Jeff!

Hidden Gem
We love Berkeley Springs and this enabled us to stay downtown where everything was in walking distance. Beautiful property with well thought out personal touches making you feel at home. Sam& Jeff are amazing ,easily accessible and made us feel like we’ve know them fore a long time. Definitely will be back to this hidden gem!
