Blue Haven Villa är en vackert inredd, helt fristående ett sovrum med egen egen ingång och parkering. Det är centralt beläget i ett lugnt bostadsområde South Coast, som är idealiskt beläget mittemot den berömda Accra Beach (Tiki Bar) och South Coast Board Walk med sina fantastiska solnedgångar.
Sovrummet är rymligt med stora inbyggda garderober och speglade dresser. Luftkonditionering och / eller takfläkt tillhandahålls som ditt val av kylning, med en dubbelsäng och kostnadsfria möbler för att göra det komplett. Som klokt har badrummet sin egen smakfulla inredning.
I köket är fullt utrustat med allt du behöver för din semester med självhushållning: kylskåp, spis, mikrovågsugn, kaffebryggare, brödrost, köksredskap, porslin och även tvättmöjligheter. Ett räknareområde med avföring finns för din avslappnade semestermatsal, som alla kyls av en takfläkt.
Vardagsrummet är bekvämt med en takfläkt för kylning och satellit-tv på rummet. Uteplatsområdet är bekvämt med en bistro för extra mat och kyls av våra vackra vindar, särskilt under vintersäsongen, december till maj.

Längs vägen, till fots 👣, buss 🚌 eller bil 🚗 kommer du att passera den berömda Barbados Fertility Clinic (motsatt Hastings Rocks on Boardwalk), Garrison Savannah (hästkapplöpningsbanan), Garrison Tunnels (tunnlar som används i världen Krig), George Washington House (USA: s boende på sitt besök i Barbados), samt roliga strandfaciliteter, till exempel båtgården eller det populära nattlivet vid Harbor Lights. A wonderful Experience

This stay was wonderful and the location and villa were perfect for what we were looking for. Carey and Wendy were excellent hosts. We had everything we needed and were close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Even though we rented a car it's not necessary because taxis are always available. We would highly recommend this location and villa for all your vacation needs!

Awesome location close to all! Immaculate home with driveway for tour rental.

Stayed here with my wife. Lovely hosts live right next door and do not bother for anything, but are always willimg to help with any questions. I would definitely stay here again. The location however was the best. 35 minutes to either end of the island if you're explorers like us. This location is a very quick 5 minite walk. Home was immaculate inside. Everytbing you may need to eat or to buy food is nearby.. AWESOME LOCATION.. THANK YOU CAREY AND WENDY FOR AN AWESOME STAY.

Solo Female Traveler Approved!

The property is located in a safe, quiet neighborhood which is accessible to EVERYTHING you need. It is well appointed, just bring yourself and a few goods, or stop by the shops that are 4 quick blocks away to grab what you forgot to bring to the the island. I mean, it really does not get any better. Well designed, organized, and meticulously clean. Carey & Wendy's cottage is a home away from home.

Great place to chill

This rental was simple, clean and central to our vacation interests. The owners welcomed us upon arrival and offered great advice and recommendations on places to go and where to eat. It was very relaxing and far enough away from crowds to feel like home.

Close to everything

Small house directly next to the where the owners live. The code to get the keys to let ourselves in was never sent as they insisted on greeting us at the door as we arrived. For people who like to stay off the radar and come and go themselves this may be a little off putting. The listing was accurate but we wished we'd read between the lines but went primarily for the location. AC only in the bedroom. Unusually there were no basic provisions there so expect a grocery store trip straight away for things like dish soap, paper towels, and cleaning products. The inside living room is furnished minimally with wicker patio chairs and although that's what the pictures show was less than comfortable. If location is important then despite the run down area this is ideal but I guess we thought it would be more than it turned out to be. Checking out was also different than anywhere else we've ever stayed around the world with the need for a 'walk round' by the owner before we could leave. Quite uncomfortable for a pair of quiet middle aged travellers just wanting to get to the airport. A nice week away for the most part but for some reason just not what we expected .

Blue Haven Villa was exceptionally clean and located in a safe, quiet and centrally located neighborhood. Words cannot properly convey how welcoming and hospitable both Wendy and Carey were to me - they felt like instant family, and for that I'm incredibly grateful. Perfect getaway gem

My partner and I stayed at Wendy and Carey’s place for 4 nights and we wish we could’ve stayed longer! Apart from the spotless house, we were greeted by wonderfully nice hosts who were there to answer our questions, suggest local spots to visit and give us a little run down of the place. The location if fabulous, close to everything you might want; grocery, bus stop, bars, boardwalk, fancy restaurants, cool local restaurants and most of all, THE BEACH! Would highly recommend and will be back next time we visit barbados 😊

What an amazing experience

The property was perfectly located. A very short walk to the beach and island transit. Couldn’t have asked for better hosts. A fully stocked kitchen with utensils pots/pans for cooking, hot water- plentiful! The bedroom - comfortable, cool sleeping with tons of closet space. Groceries and lots of places to eat within a short walk. Wendy and Carey were gracious, knowledgeable hosts and their pup was an extra bonus. North American compatible plugs for all your electronics. Monkeys across the street wandering by with their family was a definite highlight. A safe, beautiful island with many amenities like home but with the gorgeous island feel. 5 stars all around!

Great location

Blue Haven cottage is an excellent choice for a couple. It is positioned in a quiet residential area only two minutes walk from the coast road at Rockley beach, so in easy reach of a number of places to eat and a small supermarket. The cottage is well equipped with Wi-Fi, oven, microwave, washing machine (no dishwasher) and the bed is comfortable. Importantly all the windows have fly screens so no mosquitoes get inside. There is air-con in the bedroom. Car parking off-road in front of the cottage. Local buses and taxis are available at the coast road so hiring a car is not essential. Carey and Wendy are helpful and knowledgeable hosts, and if you contact them before arriving will lay in any supplies you require to settle in. Overall we can highly recommend the cottage as a well thought out holiday let in a good location.

Beautifully clean and spacious villa in the BEST location

My husband and I stayed in Blue Haven villa over the Christmas period. We traveled last minute so were very happy to find a place in such an excellent location. The villa is well located with the beautiful Rockley Beach within 5 minutes walk, lots of restaurants and cafes in walking distance. The closest bus stop is 5 minutes and the supermarket is 13 minutes walk. Saint Lawrence gap is within 30 minutes walk and the beautiful Carlisle Bay is 5 minutes drive. The villa was excellently clean, with nice fully equipped kitchen, living area and a bedroom. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good night sleep every day. The air conditioner worked well, and the ceiling fans provided fresh air throughout the whole place. The villa is in a peaceful and quiet location with lots of palm trees and green surroundings. The hosts, Carey and Wendy were very responsive and extremely welcoming. They accommodated all our needs and were very friendly. We would like to say a big thank you to them and we would highly recommend to anyone to stay in Blue Haven villa if they want a comfortable and peaceful stay in the best location.

Great place to stay, Wonderful Holiday

We stayed in this lovely apartment in January 2013 and had a wonderful time in Barbados. It is everything the owners Carey and Wendy say in their summery of the apartment and area. Spotlessly clean and in a quiet safe residential area (note we found the area and all Barbados a safe friendly place night and day). The apartment is only a couple of minutes’ walk from Accra beach one of the best in all Barbados. The great thing about the local area is you have everything you need on your doorstep here in walking distance. All types of bars and restaurants to suit any pocket. Beautiful strolls along the boardwalk will get you to a couple a great restaurants and bars. On the main road in front of the beach you have endless taxi’s and buses to get you to the likes of Bridgetown or Oistins in 10 minutes or so. What makes any holiday are good hosts whether you stay in an Apartment, Hotel or whatever and Carey and Wendy are certainly that. They leave you alone to get on with your holiday but are always available for advice and help if you need it. Which is really nice if you are new to the island as we were. Example Carey drove us to the local supermarket when we got there to stock up on essentials, which after a long journey from UK made our initial few hours so much easier and when we wanted to hire a car for a few day which can be a difficulty process in any country they arranged this for us with reputable local company who delivered the car to the apartment. They even loaned us a local mobile phone to put in the car in case of emergencies. After driving round the Island we saw some great places but I would say Accra beach part of the island beats staying on the so called upmarket west coast which although nice seemed to have a lot of expensive resorts/hotels behind closed doors which is not so great for beach walking and bar exploring. We walked right along boardwalk and almost deserted beaches to Hilton Hotel which has another nice small beach you can use. Took about 45 mins to walk. So much to do just go and explore for yourself. If you want a happy hassle free true Bajan style holiday we can 100% recommend Carey and Wendy’s place.

Très bel emplacement

Très beau petit cottage, très propre, bien situé, à quelques minutes à pieds de la plage et de plusieurs commodités. Endroit très tranquille. De plus, les propriétaires sont accueillants, présents sur place et toujours disponibles à rendre notre séjour des plus agréables. Nous avons passé un très beau séjour de 10 jours et y retournerions avec grand plaisir.

Great place to Stay!

Carey & Wendy are perfect hosts. They are very warm and welcoming. The property, conveniently located, in a safe and quiet neighborhood is within walking distance to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. The one-bedroom apartment is spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen has modern appliances and there is a washing machine. Glad I booked it. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay

We have just returned reluctantly from a fantastic stay at this lovely property in Rockley, Barbados. The villa is very comfortable, modern and has everything you will need to have an enjoyable holiday. The beautiful beach of Rockley is a 2 min walk, the buses that take you all around the island stops on the main road also 2 mins away, so very central. The villa is in a quiet street away from the busier beachfront, you can sit on the patio, have breakfast watching the birds and the odd monkey dropping by. Nothing is too much trouble for Wendy & Carey they live next door but do not intrude on your holiday, unless you stop for a chat. Buttons the dog welcomes with a wag of his tail. They recommend lovely restaurants Shakers, Tapas Bar & the Worthing Food court. We took a private island tour with James who was recommended by them, he also took us to the first day of the cricket and the airport for our return flight. I could go on and on about our trip, it was made truly enjoyable by staying at this lovely place. Thank you Wendy & Carey we look forward to seeing you again in the future as we would not stay anywhere else if we visit beautiful Barbados again. Best wishes. Shauna & Darrin

Perfect quiet location for the perfect Barbados vacation

Stayed at the beautiful Blue Haven Villa for 2 weeks as our belated honeymoon. The hosts were fantastic, friendly and very helpful. Which is great because they live next door. In fact, Carey even took us to the local supermarket to stock up on supplies for our stay and showed us around Rockley a little to get our bearings. The place is a cute little one bedroom and was very nicely kept. Linens etc were all very clean. The location was so good, we didn't miss not having a pool when we were within easy walking distance to the beach. Rockley and the nearby Carlisle beach were our favourite of all the beaches we visited. You are also just a short $2 bus ride to Oistins for the Friday fish-Fry or Bridgetown if you want to hit the big schmoke! We look forward to visiting Barbados again, and we hope Wendy, Carey and the cutest dog Buttons! would welcome us back as guests at there wonderful villa.

Immaculately Clean and Cozy

We had the great pleasure of staying at Blue Haven Villa with Carey and Wendy from Feb 25 to March 8, 2019 The villa is pristine, and true to every photo with every amenity needed for a great vacation. Carey and Wendy were wonderful hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting and chatting with them. Loved the morning hellos from the friendly Buttons as well!! We would not hesitate to stay with them again. Location is fantastic, not too close to busy streets but close enough that quick walk gets you to beach and boardwalk . I can say for certain that a return visit to Blue Haven Villa is in the future!

Pristine and Perfectly Located

I rented Carey and Wendy's beautiful villa from March 24 - April 7, 2018 and couldn't have made a better choice. The villa is absolutely pristine, modern, quiet, with high quality linens, silent ceiling fans, a very comfortable bed, a well equipped kitchen, and large windows that offer good cross-breezes. The property is perfectly located: 200 meters to Rockley Beach (aka Accra Beach) and the main road where numerous shops, restaurants and services (pharmacy, convenience store, etc.) can be found. Bus and minibus stops for easy access to Bridgetown or Oistins (which are only a few kilometers away) are also right there. Access to the wonderful South Coast boardwalk is just at the northern end of Rockley Beach, where you can run, walk, stroll or simply sit and soak in the beauty of Barbados, or enjoy friendly banter with locals or other visitors. The Rockley Golf Course is walking distance from the villa; grocery stores are also close by, as is the Hastings Farmers Market every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Carey and Wendy were wonderful, friendly, attentive, and helpful hosts from my very first contact before booking the villa right through to the end of my stay. Carey took me grocery shopping on my first day and offered helpful advice on local brands. I chose Blue Haven in large part based on its five-star rating and positive reviews, and both are absolutely well deserved. I highly recommend this property and will definitely stay here again when I return to Barbados. Thank you for a great stay Carey, Wendy and Buttons!!!

Fantastic stay

We loved this villa and Barbados. We found the villa very comfortable and convenient. The villa was extremely clean and up to date. Nice kitchen and bathroom with nice shower. It was also nice having air conditioning in the bedroom to make for a comfortable sleep.The villa was a short walk to a very nice beach and we were able to walk to restaurants and stores. The owners were very nice to talk to giving us suggestions for things to see and do and were always available to answer our questions. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for a great vacation.

Perfect Place to stay!

My husband and I stayed in the Villa for a week before moving to the House when my mom came down to join us. We found it to be the perfect place to stay. Everything in the Villa fells fresh and new, I think its been recently redone. It was spotlessly clean The kitchen is has everything you need and it was great to be able to make a few meals at home Location was unbeatable, within minutes walking to Rockley Beach (which we thought was the nicest beach). Tucked in to a quite neighborhood but within 3 minute walk you could be at the beach, several different restaurants, convenience store, bank machine, juice bar, clothing shops, liquor store and ice cream shop. The owners, Wendy, Carey and Buttons were excellent hosts! They live on site and were always available to answer a quick question or have a chat. We now consider them friends and next time we get to Barbados will be staying here again!

Best holiday!

This was a truly a fabulous place to stay. The villa is finished to a very high standard and it feels as if you are in a gorgeous high class hotel but with more space! The bed is so comfy, we couldn't wait to go to sleep! The neighbourhood is lovely and friendly and I promise you couldn't find better hosts. We were very looked after and it was lovely to feel we had local friends on hand for any information. 5 minutes from the gorgeous beach - it is in a great location, especially for Oistins on Friday! The island is beautiful, the people are beautiful and I would not hesitate to stay here again!Much better than a hotel! Fabulous!

Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous! This was our 16th visit to Barbados and can honestly say this is the very best accommodation we have stayed in. The property has everything one needs and is in wonderful condition throughout. It is very airy and we had no need to use the aircon in the bedroom. Carey & Wendy were very welcoming as was their dog Buttons! We were so impressed that we have booked our stay for next year. We can't imagine staying anywhere else for many years to come. Thank you Carey and Wendy.

A wee bit of heaven

Thank you for a great stay with Wendy, Carey,and Buttons. The place was absolutely lovely throughout. It was very spacious, and extremely well maintained. Everything from the comfortable bed, spacious closets, airconditioning in the bedroom: a fully functional kitchen with full stove, large fridge, all the dishes and pots and pans that you would need to cook with: Internet: full bathroom with fresh towels and linens and beach towels: comfortable living room with tv: and the outside porch where you can sit and enjoy the evening breezes: it's all yours. Carey and Wendy went out of their way to accommodate us whenever we needed it which was so appreciated, and in one situation, even drove us to the doctors and waited for us. The beautiful Rockley beach is only a three minute walk away, with convenience stores, transportation, eating places, and a large shopping mart within walking distance. My husband and I were extremely happy there and stayed three weeks basking in the sunshine on the beach, and returning to these accommodations. Buttons was always there to greet us when we got home. Thank you for being such great hostsWendy, and Carey, during our stay. We will never forget the memories.
