Centrally located, your Galway city adventure begins at this modern ground floor 3-bedroom apartment. This lovely space is perfect for families or friends traveling together. Parking for 1 car on site in gated yard.
Located opposite the city Cathedral and bordering the University of Galway grounds, Everything is on your doorstep. A river walk to tourist attractions, restaurants, pubs, theatre and amenities. This delightful property features 2 queen beds (1 ensuite) and 2 twin (or 1 King) for a pleasant stay. Enjoy the delightful amenities such as a coffee machine, cooking facilities, WIFI, in a relaxing central yet quiet sanctuary.
Walk by the river, to stroll through the medieval city, see the street entertainment, stroll through the university river walkways or cycle to Salthill promenade for a Galway Bay sunset.
Secure parking on site.
Upon entering the hallway leads to the light filled open plan dining/ kitchen/ living area. The kitchen is fully stocked with all major appliances, cookware and dishware.

Perfect location to base a visit to Galway. Close to everything and the Cathedral is a beautiful backdrop. Could not have stayed at a better place and really loved Galway and the Wild Atlantic area.

We LOVED staying in this beautiful 3 bedroom with Cathedral view. Such a beautiful home with bright happy colors and exceptionally comfortable beds and a beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking the stunning Galway Cathedral with bells tolling throughout the day and were glorious. Doreen was amazingly in touch and so kind and helpful. We highly recommend staying here and the location in the Galway city center is fantastic!

Very nice property in great condition near the city centre. Parking is good at the moment because the gate access restrictions to the car park are disabled while the gate is being repaired.

The location, comfort and cleanliness, along with the well-kitted accommodation, were exceptional!The host was very gracious, providing breakfast beverage supplies (tea, coffee, milk) and snacks (muesli, brown bread, jam and butter) that lasted most of our stay. There were also some lovely sweet snacks for afternoon tea (Cadbury anyone?). The bathrooms were also well kitted with paper products, soaps,etc.Four of us (ranging from 9-71 yrs) relaxed comfortably in the lounge and bedrooms. The location was central to Galway Shopping, The West End, Riverwalk, and local coffee, grocery and parks/playgrounds. I highly recommend this location and would gladly stay there if we return to Galway,

From the start of the booking the host was responsive and helpful. The host also met us upon arrival with coffee and snacks waiting. We were also able to check in about an hour early due to the timing of our train arrival. It fit our family of 6 perfectly. While two of the bedrooms are small, the beds were comfortable. The walk to the city center was easy and quick. Overall an excellent place to stay!

Delighted you enjoyed the accomodation. 6 adults stayed 2 cars cannot be accommodated on site. There are lots of parking facilities nearby which have a minimal cost for city centre parking. I did allow access to parking anytime it was requested. Unfortunately a busy time with university returning.

Family trip to Ireland

We had an out banding visit to Galway and much of the experience was because of the location of our rental and Doreen’s efforts to make sure we enjoyed our visit!

Perfect location

Wonderful stay here! Accommodations are clean and just as described. Cool view of the Cathedral right across the street. Easily walkable to everything and close to all the activity but just far enough away that it is quiet. Also right across from University of Galway campus so very accessible to that as well. Highly recommend this place and Doreen is a great host!

Perfect base for exploring Galway

Apartment with three reasonably sized bedrooms that easily accommodated our group of three. Perfect location (short walk to hustle and bustle of Galway without being in the middle of it). Our hosts was exceedingly responsive with information about the unit. All our needs/expectations were met/exceeded

Outstanding

Could not have asked for a nicer person to deal with than Doreen. Was extremely flexible and accommodating! Personally met us as we needed an earlier check in due to flight schedules. The property was SPOTLESS and roomy. Great location as well. Walkable to a number of restaurants and businesses. Would definitely stay there again!!

We loved this place. It was right next to the river walk & only a ten minute walk to pubs and shopping and Galway sites. With its own parking lot and gated entrance, it was a little hide away amidst the busyness of downtown. And the view of the cathedral, and sound of the bells, from all the rooms was a bonus. Additionally, holy cow it was so well stocked! Really set up for cooking at home, or hosting a big group., not just equipment but oliver oil, salt, tin foil, etc, Great big roomie living/dining area. And my 81 yr old mom wanted to make sure I said that the sheets were amazing - scrumptous high quality cotton. My 20 yr old daughter wanted to point out there were instructions on everything - how to use the microwave, the washer, etc. On the first floor so a little cave like but we appreciated that when we got home after running around Galway all day. Note - there is a big music venue next door & the weekend we were there had three very large concerts with storms of people entering at 7pm then leaving at 11pm - but the gated area kept them far away from our entry. Plus, the concert staff cleaned up debris immediately after the concert, and the place cleared out by 11pm each night. And the place has really good windows which blocked a lot of the noise. So it didn't bother us. Just big thumbs up for this place!

We are an Irish family from Galway who love to travel and when available to stay in this second home. We enjoy the city and its culture and enjoy other cultures.

Varför värden valde detta boende

There is no place in the city as well located as this. It is next the university and opposite the cathedral, which have a buzz of tourists and visitors each day. The evening is tranquil and in the morning the sounds of birds are a welcome wakeup call.

When on AirB&B this apartment was the No 1. place to stay in Galway. No wonder! It has everything on the doorstep, walks, theatre, restaurants, A short walk to the train station, buses to Connemara, Cliffs of Moher or to the Aran Islands.
