Detta 5 sovrum, 4 badrum, 3600 kvadratmeter Katama hem byggdes 2006 och har en vidöppen planlösning för stora sammankomster - men gott om utrymme att separera för lite integritet. Första våningen har ett stort gemensamt område med vardagsrum / matsal / kök och ett sovrum med badrum. Soaring katedral tak skapar en öppen känsla. Andra våningen har ett annat sovrum med dagssäng och eget badrum; ytterligare två sovrum; plus en tv-lounge med soffa. Färdig källare inkluderar ytterligare en tv-lounge / biljardbord plus ytterligare ett sovrum och ett halvt badrum. Huset har premiumtillägg inklusive trägolv, gas spis, 2 kylskåp, central luft, granit / marmor räknare, apparater i rostfritt stål, 2 grill och 4 platt-TV med kabel. Köket är fullt utrustat med hög kvalitet porslin, knivar, apparater.

En stor plan gård är perfekt för sommarskötsel och en lindning runt däck utanför köket gör uteserveringen lätt. En bondens veranda framför huset erbjuder gungstolar för en avkopplande paus och ett ping pongbord finns i garaget tillsammans med gräsmatta och trädgårdsspel.

Plats kan vara den bästa delen av detta hus - 3 minuters bilresa till stan, 3 minuter till Morning Glory Farm, 5 minuter till South Beach. Detta hem har varit en prishyra i Katama under de senaste åtta åren och har nyligen uppgraderat inklusive interiörfärg, möbler, handdukar, sängkläder, köksutrustning, däckmöbler och inredning. Vi har två uppsättningar av alla sängkläder handdukar och täcke täcken som är professionellt tvättas varje vecka för att säkerställa färskhet. Huset är alltid superren.

Fantastic Stay

Lovely home in Edgartown

This is a spacious, comfortable home with many amenities. I travelled with my husband and another couple. It rained for the first 2 days of our stay, so we were very happy there was a pool table and ping pong table. It's a very quiet neighborhood, but very close to the center of Edgartown. We thoroughly enjoyed this home!

Perfect

We stayed at this lovely Road to the Plains house with a large group of family and friends consisting of seniors, married couples with babies and singles. It worked out perfectly. Everyone loved the house - there was space for gathering and for private time and terrific play spaces. Pool table and ping pong table were put to great use including a few tournaments and the spacious, perfectly flat backyard allowed all kinds of outdoor play. The kitchen is well designed for teams of cooks and socializing while cooking. And amazingly well equipped, including excellent knives. I have been renting on the island for three decades and can honestly say I don't think I have ever encountered a decent chopping knife for the fabulous veggies available a short bike ride down the road at Morning Glory. Easy ride to South Beach. In addition Jim was a thoughtful owner sending email reminders and good information and caretaker Eric replied to all requests quickly and efficiently. A seriously perfect house!

Perfect house.

The house is very well maintained and clean, we enjoyed the pool table. The kitchen has everything that you need rooms are so spacious. The road is super quiet too just like in a movie I would recommend.

Perfect Vineyard Vacation Spot

My family and I very much enjoyed our stay at this home. The host was very gracious and made the rental and check in/check out process very easy. The host was also kind enough to provide recommendations on activities, restaurants and things to do during our stay. The house was as-advertised; very clean and spacious with plenty of living space (we had a party of 4 adults and 4 kids and there was more than enough space for us). Is strongly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway on Martha’s Vineyard.

Perfect Vacation Rental!

We have been vacationing on the Vineyard for over 20 years now and couldn't be happier with our stay here! The location was perfect (2 miles from the beach not even 2 miles from town) the house was exactly as advertised, and the coordination of our stay with the owners and the property manager could not have been easier or more pleasant. The house was well equipped with absolutely anything you could want or need and to sweeten the place even more everything was very clean and neat. We had a large group - to give you an idea of what this house can easily and comfortably accommodate we had - my parents, 2 sisters and their significant others, my brother his wife and their 2yr old, and myself my husband and our 7 month old - we all had plenty of space for privacy and loved convening in the kitchen/family room space. Further notes on the location - we walked and biked to town everyday, it is very accessible!! Although most of us drove to the beach as we drive on at Norton Point, there were plenty of occasions people biked to the beach before hopping in a car to drive on. The Katama General Store is only 1 mile away, Morning Glory Farm is right down the road, and the grocery store was an easy drive only taking a few minutes to get to. Overall GREAT STAY!!!

We've been vacationing in Edgartown with our family for many years and bought this property in 2017. We really know what makes a great vacation on MV (and what doesn't..). With a full house many weeks, we tried to make sure there are great places to hang out and lots of things to do.

Varför värden valde detta boende

The property is exactly what we would want as a rental. Big open area for big gatherings, but lots of spaces to find some privacy too (front porch, back deck, 2nd floor lounge, full basement). Location is amazing -- private, but right in the middle of things too. Our on-island caretaker will respond quickly if any questions or issues. We take a lot of pride and interest in the cleanliness of the house -- just like we would want. Sheets, towels, and duvet covers laundered professionally every week and our cleaning crew is highly detail-oriented and take great pride in what they do.
