Välkommen till vår helrenoverade lägenhet med 1 sovrum i hjärtat av Chevy Chase / Friendship Heights! Vårt hus ligger 7 minuters promenad från Friendship Heights tunnelbanestation och massor av shopping och restauranger. Lägenheten har vackra och moderna ytor, nya möbler, ett fullt utrustat kök och ett arbetsutrymme (Apple-dator och en skrivare). Vi välkomnar barnfamiljer och är stolta över att säga att vårt grannskap är bland de säkraste och grönaste i Washington.

Denna lägenhet är en del av vårt hus och därför lägger vi all vår passion och kärlek till ombyggnad och inredning av den. David och jag försökte tänka på allt som en affärsman, ett par eller en familj kan behöva under sin vistelse. Därför har vi ett fullt utrustat kök med nya apparater och så mycket som en kaffemaskin, en barnstol och champagneglas (vem behöver inte det på semester, eller hur?). Vi erbjuder också ett tvättstuga som har: en ny uppsättning tvättmaskin och torktumlare och ett strykjärn.

Anniversary Trip

This property is exactly as advertised. Very clean and well organized with everything you need for a getaway. Host was very friendly and helpful and even provided some welcome snacks that were greatly appreciated after a busy morning of travel and sightseeing.

Excellent location

Stayed here with high school son to visit daughter attending AU. Excellent location close to metro and walking distance from so much stuff. The apartment is outfitted with so many amenities. I was very pleased with my choice and would definitely stay here again. Six stars.

Adorable apartment, perfect location!

This basement apartment was pristine, well-stocked and in a terrific location — just a few blocks from the red line (metro) and Whole Foods. Hosts were gracious and easy to contact. Super responsive. Check in and out couldn’t have been easier. My teens and I will remember this trip fondly.

Great place to stay!

The apartment was as advertised. It was clean and comfortable. I appreciated having the separate bedroom even though I traveled by myself. The kitchen was perfect. About a 10 minute walk to the Metro, grocery stores, and restaurants. The neighborhood is lovely, felt very safe, and the hosts were responsive and friendly. Definitely worth considering for a DC trip! I’d stay here again.

College Review Trip

The home was easy to use and find. It was safe and quiet. The owners were very responsive and helpful. It was easy to get to the friendship Heights metro, 7 minute walk and an amazon fresh and whole foods were both in walking distance from the metro. We were able to get around easily and see all the universities on our tour schedule. Also, the host provided coffee pods and bottled water for the first day so that was so nice to not have to forage after a long flight. All the museum tickets we scheduled in advance were easy checkins and it was great to have both trips to sites and trips to colleges. We enjoyed our stay in DC.

Close to Red line Metro and Clean

A very nice basement apartment that is clean and close to the Red line metro (Friendship Heights) in Chevy Chase. We were able to park our car here, forget about driving, walk, and use the metro. The neighborhood is clean and seemed safe. The owners were very nice and responded very quickly. We were a family of 5 (children ranging from 8 to 13) and we fit, it was a tight fit but we were only there to eat and sleep. It was stocked pretty well with useful and thoughtful items. If we return to DC we would definitely stay here again.

Clean, convenient stay in DC NW

Had a wonderful stay at the property--the apartment was spotless, comfortable, and private. The convenience to the metro (a short 7 minute walk) and the availability of several great restaurants nearby made this a 10/10 in our book. Would definitely stay here again.

Great quiet location, easy access to Metro

Very quiet, great neighborhood. Hosts were extremely nice and great communication. Quick walk to the metro. Washer/Dryer was great. Only negative thing I would say about the rental is the main couch wasn't super comfortable and the towels were small, but I would definitely stay here again.

DC landing pad

This was a perfect spot for myself and my teen to return to after exploring all the sites that DC boasts. We stayed for 4 nights. There is an amazon fresh (for groceries) and friendship heights metro station within easy walking distance. I used amtrak to travel from NC to DC and was able to access all necessities visit famous landmarks without a personal vehicle. The apartment is well stocked and has lots of attention to small stuff: small size toiletries, coffee pods/creamers and a snack basket. David was responsive. Honestly, i only needed to contact him via text at checkout just as a courtesy to make him and his spouse aware that I was checking out and express thanks for the excellent accommodations. Id recommend this space to anyone exploring DC in a party of 2 or 3.

Best of DC

Such a fantastic apartment. Intentionally decorated, modern, well appointed and clean. We have stayed in several Washington DC apartments and this one stands above the rest, and by far. Gladys and David were so helpful, friendly and welcoming and quickly oriented us to the area and the apartment. Included is a new full size refrigerator with a nice sized freezer with automatic ice maker, an electric stove, microwave, toaster, everything you would need to prepare a meal, a Keurig coffee maker, great dishes, coffee and tea cups. The washer and dryer are new and large capacity, contained within a large, separate laundry room off the kitchen. The apartment had amenities that were helpful, thoughtful and a pleasant surprise. Included were a basket of treats (loved them!), a computer with a printer, extra blankets and towels, travel sized shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste and even toothbrushes, if you forget to bring your own. The neighborhood was quiet, fantastic to walk around and surrounded by all kinds of destinations within short to long walking distances. Standouts were Hillwood Estate, Rock Creek Park, The National Cathedral, Rodman's (all things grocery and living related), Magruder's (grocery), and Zen Acupressure (to mitigate all the walking). The pictures and this review will not do this apartment justice but this was the best value and the best overall experience we have had in Washington DC and we will return.
