Njut av några av de bästa snorkling och surfing på Maui precis framför hemmet medan dina vänner tittar från spa eller pool. Hemmet vid havet ligger på en vacker vik som är hem för många gröna havssköldpaddor. Lanai-området har en pool och ett spa med utsikt över viken, havet och ön Molokai. Det finns direkt tillgång till viken från huset. Hemmet ligger på en palmerad kantad privat väg med gated entré. Bredvid fastigheten finns en 1/2 tunnland gräsplan med en tennisbana som vi äger och som gästerna har tillgång till.

Hemmet vid havet har 3 sovrum; varje sovrum har eget badrum. Den övervåningen sovrummet har en king size-säng; det bifogade badrummet har ett stort badkar och separat dusch. Det andra sovrummet på övervåningen har en dubbelsäng och badrum. Sovrummet på bottenvåningen har en dubbelsäng, ett badrum och en Lanai. Varje sovrum har också en platt-tv.

Hemmet har ett stort, fullt utrustat kök med matplats för frukost och ett angränsande familjerum. Det finns en separat matplats med plats för 6 och ett vardagsrum med våt bar och marmor kaklat, gas spis. Dessutom har hemmet ett tvättstuga och ett dubbelt garage. Hemmet har trådlöst internet, kabel-tv och gasgrill.

Vi har också ett sovrum med 6 sovrum, 6 1/2 badrum med pool och spa i Maui (VRBO # 445750) och våra företag äger Silver Mountain Ski Resort, vattenpark, golfbana etc. i Kellogg, Idaho strax utanför jag -90, liksom 49 Degrees North Ski Resort, som ligger 1 timme norr om Spokane, WA.

Perfect

This house is amazing. Turñes swimming steps away. Awesome snorkeling steps away. Pool /hot tub with a view that’s priceless. Close to everything in gated neighborhoods. We walked to the beach once. walk was fine but we preferred to drive which is only a few minutes if that. Can’t say enough the owner is awesome and responsive. House is clean well kept and beautiful.

Exceeded Expectations

Our overall experience renting this property for a week was exceptional. Our group included a retirement aged couple, a couple in their early 30’s and a mom with a one year old. The rooms, each with a large top end mattress and spacious bathroom/shower situation allowed plenty of privacy. The kitchen was modern and totally equipped with all you need for family meals. There are three separate sitting areas with high-end couches and stunning views for comfortable places to gather. The outdoor patio area has a large covered table and chairs along with a medium size pool and hot tub combo. The view from the patio is stunning and is my new happy place to remember when things get stressful. There is great snorkeling in the bay below with turtles a constant. The gated neighborhood feels quite safe and secure. The garage has a nice supply of beach accessories and an extra fridge that comes in handy. Tryg and Barb are highly responsive, caring, and generous hosts who truly care about the experience of their guests. We all felt very much at home. As an alternative to renting three hotel/condo rooms, this is truly the way to go if you are on the fence. With any luck at all, we are looking forward to returning someday.

Amazing house, view, pool/spa, and snorkeling cove

We had a fantastic stay at this special, unique property just north of Lahaina. It is comfortable, clean, and spacious. The kitchen is well appointed, which was so helpful -- they even had a champagne stopper. While the inside is great, the outdoor aspects are what make the home truly amazing. The pool / spa were clean, well maintained, and of course enjoyable. But it's the easy access to a snorkeling cove below the yard, and then wading into calm waters to see many turtles and fish, that makes this place really shine. 5 stars all the way.

Fantastic Property

Do not hesitate to book this gorgeous house. It is spacious, comfortable and very well maintained. Beyond that, the owner, Tryg (who lives nearby), made sure we had everything we needed and responded immediately to questions. The location is perfect, on a bay with abundant turtles, and whales visible just beyond. Beaches are 5-10 minutes away, as are restaurants, groceries, and anything else you might need. We have rented many VRBO properties in many locations and can say confidently that this one delivers a 5-Star experience!

Fantastic turtle-filled vacation

Great property in a quiet and beautiful spot. Easy walks to some nice beaches, and lots of great restaurants in short drives. Good snorkeling (when sea was calm) with unavoidable turtles. The house is well remodeled and has everything you need. Owner is super friendly and responsive and wants to help make the stay great.

House and Owner Extraordinaire

The word "extraordinaire" which means exceptional and marvelous truly describe both the property and Tryg the owner. The home which is situated in a quiet gated neighborhood is just gorgeous. Beautifully decorated interior where high end style meets comfort and easy living, where views of the ocean are visible throughout the house, each bedroom is spacious with it's own full bathroom and the kitchen is fully equipped. We spent most of our days and meals outside on the lanai next to the pool and hot tub where tropical trees, flowers, birds and butterflies surrounded us. The best backyard feature was the stairs under a canopy of colorful bougainvillea that led down to "turtle bay" for some of the best snorkeling on Maui. If you love snorkeling, this is your house!! You will see every type of fish and swim with sea turtles. We swam with 20+ turtles one morning. Amazing!! Also amazing is Tryg, the owner. I had read all the accolades of previous renters and I can say they are all true. Tryg embodies the warmth of local "ho'okipa" which is the Hawaiian word for "hospitality of complete giving". He went out of his way to ensure everything was perfect during our stay and immediately responded to any questions or requests. His warmth, generosity and genuine caring were tremendous. He also has a great sense of humor. He even invited us to watch the sea turtles come in for the night at his property across the street which was being rennovated. Cannot wait to return!!!

Best property manager-ever!!

Our family of 4 stayed here the week of the hurricane winds and subsequent Lahaina fire. In addition to the horrible devastation for the people of Lahaina, the entire west side of Maui was without power and cell service. Tryg (owner and property manager) was a literal lifeline for us. He checked in on us frequently, shared food and water with us, brought us an assortment of flashlights, and reached out to our family on the mainland to let them know we were safe. Just an all-around great guy! As if that weren't endorsement enough, the house and location were lovely. A comfortable, well-stocked house with an amazing view and access to Honokeana Bay for swimming and snorkeling with the green turtles. Once the west side of Maui is able to regroup and reopen for tourism, you won't regret staying in this lovely home.

Can’t wait to return!

This home was hands down the best experience we’ve had renting on a vacation! Besides the phenomenal location, the space was everything we needed and wanted in a home for our week in Maui. Tryg was so easy to work with and an incredibly gracious host. The beds were comfortable, the pool an absolute dream and the home itself is in absolute pristine condition. We absolutely cannot wait to go back!

A Snorkeler's Paradise Awaits

We took our two kids who recently graduated from college to Maui for their grad present and it was an incredible experience, starting with the house we rented from Tryg and Barb. An amazing place, with spectacular views, topflight furnishings, a well-stocked kitchen with everything you need, and of course, access to the cove which never disappoints from the abundance of turtles to the many fish and corals you can see. For those who prize good snorkeling as we do, it doesn’t get much better than this; its own private stairwell to the cove, you must cross one slightly tricky rock formation but once you do so, you’ll feel at ease doing it again. There is a sandy and shallow part of the cove where you enter that allows you to easily put on and take off your snorkeling gear while in the water. The water while we were there was always calm and safe. Finally, we can’t say enough about the hospitality and communication we had with Tryg; he went above and beyond, attending to any questions we had, and was incredibly accommodating when our flight was delayed. We can’t wait to get back!

Beautiful Home on Turtle Coves

We loved our stay at 20 Papaua! The house has been recently renovated and was fully stocked with kitchen and bathroom items. This spared us from buying more (and potentially wasting) refills. The living spaces were comfortable although we didn’t entertain due to owner’s strict capacity warnings. The pool and side yard were nice and we appreciated being able to enter the bay from the property, although it is not an easy feat. Neighbors were friendly and it was an added plus that the host owns multiple properties in the culdesac, so we could encourage family and friends to rent their other homes coincident with our trip. Barb and Tryg are super responsive and clearly take great pride in their property(s). We appreciate their warm invitation to return. ◡̈

Honu paradise

This property is exactly as advertised, absolutely amazing. I have snorkeled for years and have never been surrounded by so many sea turtles. The house was very clean and well appointed. The property host Tryg had great communication and was very helpful when I reached out to him. Having direct stairway access to the cove was a highlight of the property and we can't wait to come back.

Beautiful area outside of Maui

Tryg was great, would respond to to our questions immediately. The home was lovely, very well equipped, all king size beds, each room had its own AC, pool and hot tub were very nice, all in all we had a great time!!!

This property is amazing and Tryg & Barb went above and beyond to make our stay special. They had decorated the home when we arrived to celebrate 2 milestone birthdays that took place during our trip. The property was immaculately clean and well maintained, tons of water toys available for use, perfect location, and stunning views. This property is paradise! Hope to see you next year!

Snorkeling and Surfing at Your Doorstep

Our family has stayed at several VRBO properties on the Hawaiian Islands but this home was our favorite. Why? 1 - Location is great! Views are amazing. A stone staircase leads to a rocky cove below from which you can launch into the water on a board or with snorkeling equipment. Not ideal for the inexperienced. You can walk to a sandy beach although there are no sidewalks on this busy road. You can drive 3-minutes to sandy Kapalua Beach but going early or late in day is recommended as parking is limited. Beach trail head also starts here. 2 - House. pool, and hot tub are awesome! King beds and bedrooms are great; mattresses comfy. The outdoor patio table faces the cove and the ocean--we spent hours outside enjoying the view. 3 - Owner/manager is very friendly, helpful, and goes out of his way to make sure all is well. Our family of five adults and one baby had a great stay at this fabulous home.

Best family vacation EVER

The was the best family vacation we’ve ever had. The house was perfect. Spacious, well-appointed, amazing views, incredible location, everything we needed for our kids (boys 6 and 9), my spouse and I and the grandparents. Our kids swam every day in the pool, we snorkeled with the sea turtles, played in the waves at Napili and Kapalua beaches, walked the coastal trail every day, made delicious food and ate on the porch, visited with local friends, saw rainbows (many) and whales, hiked to the blowhole, finished the 1000 piece puzzle and made memories we will cherish forever. The house is open, light, spacious, and has everything. Family needs - from Jenga and puzzles to pull toys, beach chairs and boogie boards. We’re not even at the airport yet and we’re already looking for dates to book for next year!

Backyard Views Amazing!

We loved our stay at this house in Maui. We could never get tired of the view from the back patio. We could see the nearby island of Molokai, rainbows almost daily, waves rolling, beautiful foliage, etc. We had access to the bay through a staircase that reached the shore. Turtles were in abundance both in the water and on the rocks every afternoon. Snorkeling right from our rental house was a huge plus. We didn't use the pool but hopping into the hot tub was a daily treat. The neighborhood was quiet and even though the neighbors were close on one side, they didn't bother us at all. The house was clean and neat. The leather furniture was comfortable and so were the beds. There is a fridge in the kitchen and another in the garage which allowed us to keep plenty of cold drinks on hand. The house included beach towels, a portable cooler & beach chairs that we enjoyed on our beach days. We were pleased to find shampoo, toilet paper, garbage bags & other necessities to last our entire 2 weeks. The property owner kept us informed on everything we needed to know. My only complaint is the statue of a girl outside the upstairs bedrooms looks very life-like in the dark. It scared a few of us more than once! We had plenty of laughs and made lots of great memories at this house in Maui. We would stay here again.

Trip of a lifetime

After two years of putting family time on hold, we decided to host a Hawaii vacation for our adult children. This home was absolutely perfect for us - great entertaining space, spotless (and I have high standards), easy access to the beach and we snorkeled everyday. Tryg and Barb were FANTASTIC hosts - so responsive and accommodating. Wouldn't hesitate to return again!
