Great home base!

Easy check in, clean room. All went smoothly with only a few challenges - parking and fire alarm check. The parking was tight, but not insurmountable with overflow just across the street. And fire alarm check is a one off and we weee made well aware multiple times and with many forms of communication (verbal at check in, in writing with our check-in docs, as well as communication sloped under our door) - they definitely work! Overall very convenient stay!

Very nice place with great amenities but some issues

Although the unit was very nice and the registration people were good, they lacked giving more detailed information to first time guests. They gave no info on how or where to swipe the key card to get in the gate. The lady told me to look for the “black dots” by the gate. Also that the gate by the McDonald’s is an out only, you can’t get in that way. Someone who works at the McDonald’s actually told me that! By the time I figured out all that, I was so frustrated that tears flowed. I met a lady looking for her room, which I helped her locate, and I asked her if she found this process frustrating and she said yes, absolutely! I feel a little more detailed info would be helpful for first time guests. Maybe the owners could help facilitate this. But I’d have to say that none of this compares to the nightmare parking at this location. I drove around 8 times and finally my husband just sat in the car and waited for someone to leave. He is handicapped and parking down the street in the overflow lot was not an option. Great unit at a great price for South Lake Tahoe, but I’m afraid the other issues make it a no for me for my next trip to Tahoe.

Best location for the price

Overall great experience. All requests were met in minutes.. The staff was helpful an friendly. The accommodations were as described and well located in town. Highly recommended.

spring in south lake tahoe

the check in lobby is so loud you can not hear the instructions that the clerk is telling you. it doesn't help wearing masks. the parking is terrible. they don't have enough spaces for all guests. they have a blockage at the main entry so very difficult to unload and it stacks up cars in the drive. weird. we found the internet to be either incredibly slow or non existent. walked across the street to Red Hur for breakfasr and had very good wifi. the unit itself was terrific

Super comfortable studio

Great room with a well equipped kitchenette. So nice to be able to prepare and have breakfast before we went out for the day. Very roomy bathroom with huge vanity was a plus as well. Comfortable beds, nice closet with mirrored doors for getting ready, and plenty of lighting options. The only minor complaint would be the awful quality TV. The picture was like watching VHS. Although we didn’t use it, it was a nice touch that there was a DVD player. Really nice if we bring our daughter next time. Nice building, facilities, staff, and central location walkable to many nice stores and restaurants. We wish we could have stayed another night or two!

Good Location

Good location for skiing and the lake. There is a free shuttle bus across the street that goes to Heavenly, but the desk clerk didn't know about that. We found it on our own. "The Concierge" is the next stop after you check in. They want you to sign up for an Open House and it is all about marketing the Time Share. We declined. The units are pretty concentrated and a bit noisy. But the location is wonderful.

Great location right on the Lake Tahoe. Clean rooms with kitchenette which is why we book it. Play room and heated pool with jacuzzi was a great bonus. However, sauna was not working and chlorine in the pools and jacuzzi was too much. But, overall we enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay. The room was quiet, clean, convenient and adequate for our needs. Love the amenities the hotel has to offer. The kitchenette is a nice room feature. We'll be back!
