Come enjoy over 300 feet of shoreline in our 4 bedroom/3 bath cabin. Our rooms include a mix of 1 king bed, 2 twin bunk beds, and 2 queen bed en suites, along with 2 living room spaces and 2 dining tables, perfect for up to 10 guests. There is a full size tub/shower and 2 other showers ready for guests to freshen up after a day of exploring our immaculate lake, state-record fishing, water sports, endless hiking trails and waterfalls to be seen both on and off the water. Our deep water full size dock makes a great place to tie up your boat or other water craft, swim, or launch our canoe for exercise or slower-paced sightseeing. Enjoy nights by the outdoor fire pit, cooking dinner on the gas grill and in our well-equipped kitchen, playing games on our oversized dining table, or snuggled up on one of the couches watching a movie. The soothing ambiance of this cabin, along with amenities like WiFi, AC, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, and propane grill ensures a serene stay. Enjoy your time exploring and making great memories in Salem and on Lake Jocassee at our cozy cabin.

If you come to Lake Jocassee looking for a complete, total wilderness getaway, then this is the place !This house is located on 1 of the very few “gentle slopes” to get to the dock.It is still a little bit of a haul, but totally doable while carting your gear for most in good physical condition. We have stayed in MANY VRBO properties, and the property managers of this gem located directly on LAKE JOCASSEE certainly belong to the upper echelons!

The cabin at jocassee hideaway was the perfect place for our family to enjoy all that Lake Jocassee has to offer. There’s nothing like being right on the water- excellent views and the kids got to swim right off the dock. Devils Fork is just around the bend on the water, and Cashiers isn’t too far of a trip for groceries or just to sight see. We got to swim, fish and go boating all from the house. It was stocked with all we needed for our meals and everything was very comfortable. Would love to come back!

Great place tucked back on a beautiful Jocassee lake. This place was great. If you love to fish for trout and spotted bass, this is it. Wonderful scenic views and waterfalls. A Gem, can’t wait on return trip.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin SO much! We hate to leave. The cabin had everything we needed for a week long stay & we cooked every night. Comfy beds & couch for relaxing after a long day on the water. The dock is awesome with plenty of room to dock multiple boats. The best part is leaving the boat in the water every night, ready for the next morning. Rita is great with communication & very accommodating. We will definitely be coming back!

Lake Jocassee is simply beautiful and this cabin’s location provides a stunning view. This property’s access to the water is a good as it gets on this lake but it is still steep enough to be of concern to anyone with any mobility issues. Rocky seawall & drop mean no access to water’s edge. Getting into water was via the dock. Because the lake was so low (it happens!:), the dock’s ramp was separated from the wooden platform and would have been quite difficult to stretch step across for someone scared of heights and/or unable to get across the gap.The house was perfect for our group of 10 adults. Well appointed lake cabin! We throughly enjoyed ourselves.

Our family lives a little over an hour away in beautiful downtown Greenville, SC. My husband grew up on the coast of SC and I grew up on the Florida panhandle. We’ve now spent over half of our lives in Greenville but really love being able to enjoy such pristine water (with no sharks 😅) and the beautiful scenery and hiking of the surrounding mountains.

Varför värden valde detta boende

With only 37 home on Jocassee, we knew we had to jump at the opportunity to enjoy and share such a beautiful place. We had a cabin on Lake Keowee for nearly 15 years but it became too crowded for us to enjoy being there as much on a regular basis. We wanted to be more remote and to be able to explore.
