Absolutely Wonderful stay in Sanibel

We had a lovely stay in Sanibel at Alex’s house. We particularly enjoyed the high speed internet, the “freshness” of the entire place both inside and out (cozy, fresh decor, clean), the attention to detail (lighting, closet organization), the screened in porch at night, the walking distance to the beach, and the fact that it had everything we needed - both in the kitchen and for the beach. We hope to return soon.

So happy we booked this duplex for our two week stay in Sanibel! It is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The location is great - easy to find, easy beach access with a short walk. It is in a lovely neighborhood. Our host, Alex, could not have been more accommodating. He always responded to questions in a timely manner. The place is well supplied for everyday needs and for the beach with sand chairs, cart, etc. Alex thought of everything and everything is quality. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! This host and duplex gets five stars plus!

Communication from host as just about as perfect as it gets. Super fast responses and very helpful/accommodating. The location is ideal. Close to all things Periwinkle, close to Causeway as well as Gulfside and Tarpon Bay beaches (back ways on Middle Gulf!). All appliances are brand new which was nice. Great for 2 or a small family (only one bathroom). Laundry soap, toilet paper, trash bags, and other necessities are well stocked. Only had to buy Kleenex and our own shower essentials. Towels are large and quality. Bed was small but comfortable. Lots of pillows. Big wagon, beach toys, chairs, umbrella all provided. Outside shower was great, hubby recommended an awning/cover. :) Small critique of poor wi-fi reliability and connection, laundry room outside (kind of wish I'd known that at booking, no-see-ums are worse at night when we needed to do laundry, so added to my 1,000 bug bites), bathroom needs towel bar/place for shampoo/soap in the shower But overall, quiet and wonderful location, local beach (walk only, no parking) was great. Dantes/BRGR within walking distance (both exc food). Except for Captiva, most everything is an under 15 minute drive. We had a fabulous time!!
