Very quiet and overall great place

Our stay was pretty good we were able to get around to eat and do some other stuff. We rented a UTV and got to ride around on some trails and see a few waterfalls. Definitely worth it. Downtown Bryson and Cherokkee are definitely recommended their food is really good and the ice cream was even better.

Convenient location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice cabin and very clean. Pool table is on its last leg, and is not fun to play on. It's about to fall apart. Rental company is great and very kind. Will rent from them again. The neighbors dogs scared our 6 year old but they were nice dogs and nice neighbors.

Great property!

My husband, brother in law and 7 year old niece stayed for a few days and the cabin could not be more perfect. Plenty of room for all of us, great location to Bryson City where we took a steam train ride and shopped. Plenty of cooking supplies and comfy beds. We even received a phone call to make sure we were enjoying our stay. I recommend this place!!

Amazing!!

This place was wonderful, I would definitely come back! Neighbors were so friendly and it was a nice clean and beautiful home!! We loved it! Good communication with property management. Would highly recommend!

Cabin up a gravel road

Nice cabin. A little close to neighbors. House is located just past the 3rd abandoned car on the left. Beautiful, clean home. Nice big hot tub. No internet. Therefore, no TV or wifi. Had to drive to McDonald's 10 minutes away for wifi. house wS

Quick getaway

This cabin was beautiful and perfect for a quiet little getaway, however one thing you might want to check is the attic, all night it sounded like raccoons or something up in the ceiling. Besides that the cabin is beautiful and I would definitely rent it again!

Review

The cabin itself is beautiful. The location isn’t the best. You don’t get a view of the mountains. Getting to the cabin, there were 3 abandoned cars on the side of the road that were a bit sketchy. The internet was out. So we could not watch any tv. There were no movies that we could watch in the DVD player. And the hot water heater must be on the smaller side because I couldn’t get through a shower without the water going cold. The hot tub was a nice relaxing feature. And it was nice that there were board games to play.

Lovely home

Very clean home! We arrived late at night and we had to call to make sure we were at the right location. The instructions were spot on but we couldn’t see to verify if it was indeed the correct home. They were very helpful and understanding. We will definitely be back.

What a mountain getaway

Good cabin for the right price which, with a little help, could be great.

The cabin is clean and tidy, more practical than luxurious. Yellow Rose Realty was very responsive in getting the fireplace to work, so kudos to them. I bet they would have been equally accommodating when the hot-tub was glitchy. Access to the park was easy and convenient. Proximity to Bryson City, a couple breweries and a great vibe, was a very pleasant surprise. Couple thoughts for would-be guests. Neighbor’s dog barked ALL (I mean ALL, without a break) night long night one, but not nights two and three, so we all slept terribly night one, and we all slept great nights two and three. Consider earplugs, just in case the dog is out. And beware that you will have to drive your garbage to the dumpster at the grocery store, which was tough to find at night, but fine in the day.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here about one year ago and were disappointed to see upon our return no improvements were made. This place is in dire need of updating and an exterminator. Carpenter bees are eating the outside. We also found termite-like insects crawling on the sofa. The TVs are seriously outdated (tube-type) with poor satellite reception. There is no grilling area. The hot tub was nice and the location was convenient to Lake Fontana.

Broken rocker on porch. Carpenter bees taking over the logs outside. No chalk for pool table. Some of these issues were noted on VRBO website and review book at cabin. Someone needs to listen and do something about it.

Family Christmas Vaca

Overall, I would totally recommend this cabin and would stay again. The cabin itself was very spacious, a lot bigger than pictures make it appear. The beds were comfortable, but the comforters could use a good wash
 other than that, the cabin was well cleaned. The pool table upstairs was fun, however the pockets are broken and every time you shoot a ball in, it goes straight through the pocket and falls onto the hard wood floor which over time as left dings and dents in the floors/stairs - so I would suggest that be fixed. Hot tub was nice and clean but it rained while we were there so we were unable to use it as it was not covered. The wet deck was slippery in the front, so be cautious. Check in/check out instructions were very clear and spot on. Communication was great between email/phone. Internet/WIFI worked well with cell phones but the TVs/Roku were slow. Location was nice in regards to being centralized to Bryson City/Cherokee but I was hoping for a better view - the cabin is surrounded by home owners who are nestled around the cabin, so all you can see is their homes to the front, back and side
 so if you want a nice view, this is not the cabin for you.

Misrepresented

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The picture of the Chalet and the surrounding view is very misleading. I thought you might have a view of the Mountains from the left side, looking at the picture, but you don't. I even called and spoke to a representative on the phone to verify the road was paved and motorcycle friendly like their website suggests. I was told that it was but imagine my surprise when we arrived to find a gravel drive up a steep hill. The trees are grown up so there is no view except for the trailers and 5th wheels from the porches. Let's not forget about the dogs running loose and barking allnight. The inside was everything promised but we were disappointed by everything else. Again there needs to be an updated picture of the Chalet because the one posted is very misleading. 2
