Unik fastighet på 4900 meters höjd. På grund av höjden, är det alltid svalare sedan de omgivande städerna Cashiers, Highlands, Franklin och Glenville. Tre sovrum, alla med takfläktar. Det stora sovrummet med dubbelsäng ligger på bottenvåningen. Den större sovrummet nere har två enkelsängar, det andra rummet har en drottning säng. Varje sovrum har skjutbara glasdörr till den enorma utanför däck. Inomhus och utomhus eldstäder med kompletterande trä. Pictures do not do this cabin justice! Breathtaking sunrise views & fresh mountain air! Quite remote location but this was the best stocked VRBO we have ever stayed in!! Which is much appreciated. Huge bonus was the firewood provided & outdoor fireplace! Also, the beds were the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in other than our own!! Definitely will return!

Thank you, Ron for sharing your lovely home with us. The view is fantastic and back porch is so peaceful. It was nice to find a kitchen with all the needed pots, pans and utensils/gadgets. The beds were also very comfortable with nice linens. Having firewood available was an added perk. I also appreciate the continued communication during our stay. We hope to stay here again in the future when we might have perfect weather. For anyone reading this review, my only tip is to make sure you download a map for offline use in your map application because in some areas around this location in NC, cell service is not reliable and you may drive in areas where there is no reception at all.

Can’t say enough good things! Home is very clean, warm, cozy and welcoming. The kitchen is very well stocked with essentials and more. Beds are very comfortable and the linens super comfy. Plenty of towels in the bathrooms and kitchen. We spent most of our time on the deck and enjoyed the amazing view! We built a fire in the outdoor fireplace every night and the sunrise is breathtaking! My friend and I were a little anxious about getting up the gravel drive after reading previous reviews but it was no problem at all. Communication with the owner was excellent and he gave me 3 simple tips that eased my concerns. When you get to the final incline to the house, put your vehicle in 1st gear, get a little head start and don’t stop until you get to the top. It wasn’t difficult at all. We will be back!

Second stay in this beautiful home and can't wait to return again. House has everything needed for relaxing and cooking a Thanksgiving feast. Cozy fireplace inside and out. It was amazing it was so nice to have a nice quite week away its got amazing views and helpful neighbors we had an absolute blast and appreciated every minute and cant wait for next year we tried to leave it as close to as we found it everything was great had everything we needed already there and we added to the spice cabinet and got some cute frigerator magnets that hopefully the next guests can enjoythank you for the amazing experience!!!!

Amazing View!

Such a relaxing couple of days ringing in the new year with my husband and fur babies. The views were breathtaking, house was clean, fully stocked with everything you need and so cozy. We will definitely keep this in our list as one of our favorite places to stay!

Cozy Getaway

Cozy cabin with beautiful views. The owner has included everything that is needed or wanted for a mountain getaway within the home. Super comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. Great balcony furniture that makes it comfortable inside and out.

Great summer getaway!

We were looking for a higher elevation to get away from the summer heat of Georgia and we found it! Great laid back weekend. We cooked most our meals there at the house and just enjoyed the view.

We live in Greenville SC in the burbs. Our fast pace lives begged for a get away. When we saw this mountain top we knew we were going to love this view. Morning sunrise with coffee on the deck sitting by the fireplace. We have two teenagers still at home. They love coming up on their days off and kayaking in Lake Glenville. To get ready for a week in the mountains we pack food, clothes, and toiletries. Everything else is waiting for us. That is what we wanted for future vacationers. No fuss; just walk in and make yourself at home.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Due to the elevation, it is always cooler then the surrounding towns of Cashiers, Highlands, Franklin and Glenville. The view of the two south facing decks is spectacular. Sun rising over the mountain across the valley is memorable. Summer activities include hiking everywhere, rafting on nearby rivers and boating on Lake Glenville. Restaurants, art fairs, antique shops, farmer's markets and unique clothing stores in nearby towns. Fall colors are mesmerizing.
