Vacker New Lake Front Cottage: Nära Pere Marquette River & ORV / ATV-spår

Nybyggd 2 sovrum stuga på 20 tunnland Bass Lake. Njut av dig själv med en promenad på North Country Trail, en dag som fiskar på de många sjöarna i närheten eller flugfiske på floden Pere Marquette eller bara njuta av tiden på däcket som grillar och med utsikt över sjöns skönhet. Eldstad med stolar och allt ved du behöver gratis med din vistelse. Lämna dina skor vid dörren eftersom du kommer att hitta vår stuga obefläckad när du anländer. Stugan är omgiven av delstat och federala mark och du hittar området mycket ganska och privat. Sjön är en fiskesjö och verkligen inte för simning men det finns en Township park som är en bra badplats cirka 1 mil bort. Fantastiskt område för jakt, utforska, promenader, terrängcykel / ATV-stigar i närheten samt snöskoterleder.

The hill was very challenging and didnt know it was catch release. It was very quiet and relaxing but wish we wouldve had better restaurants close by. And with no ac upstairs it was very hot.

Cabin on the lake

This is a very nice cabin on secluded and QUIET lake. Only wish we had stayed longer.

Quiet beautiful setting

This is a great little cabin if you are looking for a quiet retreat. The reason we did not give it a five star review is because of the strong sulfuric smell that came from the shower. We contacted the host and he assured us it was safe and normal and we just needed to run the shower for awhile and the smell would go away. It slowly got less intense. We were also sad to not be able to swim (as neighbors were out on the lake with intertubes) and would have loved a small boat or other option to enjoy the water. Great host though and lovely setting. Expect to drive out of town awhile for dining or grocery options.

We were pleasantly surprised with the cabin. Everything was clean and organized. Helpful hints: take along a 9x13 pan, foil, oil, S'more sticks, matches, and lots of reading materials! Download Netflix movies in advance on your phone. Take HDMI cable for connection. Download offline maps, it was a true benefit as internet service is spotty for the full area. Steep hill to dock. Oh, and don't forget to take your shoes off at the door! Respect the property! We loved our stay, especially late night shooting stars during the Perseids Meteor Showers! Finally, Shoey's Log Cabin and Jones Ice Cream are great places to visit in Baldwin. Pass on Woody's Pizza. Thank you for everything! We loved our stay at the cabin!

Terrific Getaway

Can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed this stay…the woods, the lake, the tastefully decorated and well-equipped cabin. Brian was an accommodating host. I hope to get back for another stay.

Great Quiet Getaway

We had a nice quiet getaway and the cabin was beautiful! We enjoyed a bonfire on Friday night, spent the day in Ludington, Pentwater & Mears on Saturday with another bonfire. A woodpecker even joined us on Saturday night! The cabin was absolutely spotless when we checked in!

Quality cabin

This cabin is beautifully renovated and Brian was very good at communicating and making sure we had everything we needed. We loved hiking the North Country Trail. Would definitely stay here again.

Long weekend

Perfect getaway

Absolutely beautiful, everything went right. We fell in love with this place instantly. I would highly recommend this host and peaceful place. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer.

Nicest property in town to relax.

Very welcoming and enjoyable location. Short little walk to bass lake at back of house. Catch&release catfish, bluegill, and bass! Quiet but very friendly town. Enjoyed Bigfoot Pizza and local Meat store, great time and will stay longer next time. Forget your phones and internet... enjoy the quiet.

Quiet and relaxing

My wife and I had a wonderful time. It was peaceful and beautiful around the cabin. The cabin was exceptionally clean. The gas grill could have been better. But overall we loved it.

Peaceful get away

The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Te scenery was beautiful and peaceful. We found some trails for walking nearby in the Manistee National Forest. Brian sent all the information we needed and checked in to make sure everything was okay. The cell service was spotty, but in the mornings and late in th evening it seemed faster. It was remote, but that is what we wanted. A lovely place to relax.

Stunning view

A beautiful home with absolutely gorgeous view. Very relaxing. Due to GPS issues, unfortunately we couldn’t locate the local beach or hiking trail (though we found a lot of ATV trails) so I might suggest a more specific, local map. However, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great secluded get away!

My wife and I were looking for a way to get away from the day to day crazy hustle and bustle with some peace and quite! This fit the bill perfectly. The house is extremely clean/like new. No internet, no cable, no problem!! We had cell phone coverage that was all we needed. Brian met us there and did a quick walk through to familiarize us with everything. A great experience. Thank you
