Villa Gaia embodies earthiness and sensuality. This fresh and cozy newly built villa in our charming new community of Playa Chiquita is well equipped for a comfortable stay. Take a short walk on our private path to Playa Chiquita or ride a bike or drive to other beaches. Cook at home or eat out at one of the fantastic restaurants within walking distance.

It is located in a Pet Friendly Home. Only one pet is allowed per stay, and this must be approved in advance. Before making the reservation, please check with us the conditions and policies of the Pet Friendly House, as well as the possibility of bringing a second pet. Please note that an additional fee of $30 applies for each pet's stay.

Villa Gaia is perfect for one or two people.

The king size bed is fitted with a custom made orthopaedic mattress and quality linens. A complete kitchen includes a french press, 2 burner gas cook top , a large toaster oven , a refrigerator, dishes, cookware, and a large water dispenser. The windows are all screened open air - no air conditioner needed - and there are overhead and wall fans. The patio has a dining set for two, a hanging chair and a hammock and the house is surrounded by gardens. From your patio you can watch the wildlife in the tree tops.

You are a ten minute walk to a beautiful, unspoiled beach much more secluded than most. A short bike ride will take you to several other spectacular beaches including the popular surf beach called Playa Cocles. There are a variety of excellent restaurants in walking or biking distance, and you can always grab a taxi or a tuktuk if you prefer. The Jaguar Rescue center is also walking or biking distance if you plan to visit.

It is only a 30 minute bike ride into the town of Puerto Viejo, 45 or more if you slow pedal and enjoy the sights or make frequent stops to see wildlife or wander the beach. Slow pedalling is the way to go here. Pura Vida is a lifestyle, slow down and enjoy your surroundings.
