Perfect apartment

We feel like as home, very comfortable apartment, they have everything what we need. Location is close to everything ! Train station 15 min walk, supermarket 3 min walk, all the attractions in walking distance, AC ! Beautiful decorated keeping the Florence style, we loved it! Thank you Sandra for being a nice host .

Fantastica posizione

Soggiorno fantastico in questo appartamento dotato di ogni comfort, dalla cucina al riscaldamento! Posizione eccellente in centro Firenze a due passi dal Ponte vecchio e Palazzo Pitti, ideale per godersi l’atmosfera fiorentina. Apprezzata la presenza di bar, ristoranti, supermercati vicino alla casa Gentilissimi e disponibili i proprietari.

Excellent location - close to Pitti Palace & Ponte Vecchio. Easy walk to town center & even train/bus stations. Very quiet. We were late arriving because we missed the connecting train due to first train lateness, but Roberto waited patiently. 5 nights in Firenze with day trip to Pisa. Crowds much thicker than expected for time of year - guess no more shoulder season. Good restaurant nearby: Maddina Tandoori, 47r via dei Bardi, near market. Stay went well but weather could have been drier. We would definitely repeat apartment rental for future visits.

Location was ideal, very clean, spacious, comfortable. Character of the place gave us a good feel for Florence; look out the window, see local life, hang your washing; good cafes. Was close to grocery store.

Fantastic Location

My wife and I stayed at this apartment for almost a month, and dollar for dollar, we could not have found a better place to stay. Sandra, the owner, charges a very fair price for rent and she is a very nice person that was available to help if needed (only once) and not in any way obtrusive. The apartment is within easy walking distance to almost any attraction in the city, as well as nearby bus stops, the train station, and the grocery store. Granted, it is not very big, but for two (and for a short while 4 of us) there was enough room. The only negative is that there is 34 steps up (and of course down). Getting the luggage up and down was a little tiring, but that only took place upon arrival and departure. Otherwise, they did not hinder us, and we are not exactly young. We recommend this place highly.

Perfect Location

I loved my time staying with Sandra and Roberto. Their apartment is a great value! The apartment is comfortable for two but will actually sleep up to five. The kitchen is very well thought out and a nice use of the space. The bathroom is very clean and updated. The best part of this apartment is the location. It is in a relatively quiet area while still feeling like you are part of the local neighborhood. There is a cafe very nearby with very good coffee at half the price of the more frequented areas of Florence. The Ponte Vecchio and Pitti Palace is just a few minutes walk. A grocery store is nearby and convenient.

Great location and athmosphere!

This is a great apartment, that has everything you need to feel at home. It's a nice blend of old and modern, in a perfect location. Sandra is an excellent host, concise and friendly. When we arrived she was waiting for us and she showed us how everything works. We stayed here for a month and had no problems at all, and we would have gladly stayed longer too. Sometimes the street can be a bit noisy but it didn't bother us too much.

It was perfect, great location.

Sandra was there waiting for us, she was really sweet and showed us everything we needed to know.The apartment was located in a old stone building of course,a lot of stairs going up, fine with me but some older person might have a problem with that.Great location near the Ponte Vecchio ,walk everywhere. Great restaurants near by,wine bar ,grocery store, other shopping.Apartment was very clean, plenty of towels.Yes the discription was very accurate on the website,I would definitely recommend this property to friends and I would stay there again myself but longer than the 3 days this time..

Great central location

The apartment was rustic, tidy and equipped with a new bathroom. There is a washing machine and a traditional clothes line out the window. Wifi worked best in the kitchen. There is a fantastic supermarket close by where you can find fresh produce and alcohol. The apartment for us was hard to find as no 1 which is the apartments number is in between from memory numbers 9 and 15. It took us a while to find it. There is a great coffee shop down the end of the lane. This apartment is really for a two people, I don't know if the lounge in the kitchen/dining area can fold out for an extra person. I would recommend this stay for the location.

Apartamento estupendo.

Apartamento muy cómodo y con todo lo necesario, a un paso del Ponte Vecchio y en pleno centro histórico con todo a mano (paradas de taxi y bus, supermercado, cajero automåtico...). Pese a ser un edificio antiguo, estå todo cuidado, limpio y en perfecto estado; baño moderno, cama muy cómoda, frigorífico pråctico y vitroceråmica nueva. Realmente me sentí como en casa, no se echa nada en falta y el trato con los propietarios ha sido muy afable y cordial, ante cualquier consulta nos atendian con råpidez. Sin duda, si volvemos a Florencia elegiremos este apartamento. Gracias por todo Sandra.

Perfect location for seeing sights on both sides of Ponte Vecchio. Modern kitchen & bath Clean, clea

Lots of restaurants, full grocery store close by. Everything you need has been provided! Sandra emails in English each day or so to ensure a comfortable stay. Neighbourhood seemed dark at night, but quite secure. Quiet between 11 pm & 8 am. Very close to Pitti Palace & Ponte Vecchio.

Beautiful apartment with lots of character!

Loved our stay here - it's beautiful, loved the wooden panels in the ceiling, the wooden window covers, loved the bathroom and air con was awesome. Plus it's very close to the centre. However, there was no elevator so be prepared to walk up two flights of stairs with your suitcases. Otherwise, very happy!

Great spot, central but quiet

My wife and I stayed here in June 2016 for a few days. The apartment was exactly as described. We found it very clean and perfectly located about 2 minutes from Ponte Vecchio. It has a washing machine and air con in the bed- and living room. Sandra was a great host, very friendly and always very helpful. Parking in that part of Firenze is a nightmare, so Sandra offered us to car our parked at her house and she then drove us to the apartment and picked us up again after our stay. Due to the very central location of the apartment, a car was absolutely not needed- every major site of the town is in walking distance. There are many shops, restaurants and cafes around the corner. A supermarket is located right in front of the Ponte Vecchio. We would certainly return to this place. Thank you Sandra.

Cozy and beautiful place

Sandra, the landlord so amazing, this apartment is at walking distance from every where, ac unit is perfect, water perfect, enough room for 5 people and we were 2. full kitchen ....I made a mistake and only booked 5 nights when supposed to be 6, Was not able to add another night because Sandra had other family already booked so she offered her house so I could stay, WOW!!! did not stay because decided to stay in Venice the last day that we went on a day tour so might as well stayed in Venice. But her offer was so nice. Really recommend this place, and Sandra Thank you so much for your hospitality. Sandra Barrios
