The house could use some minor maintenance. The grass needed cut and the screened in back porch could use a good cleaning and the holes fixed. The roof on the outside leaked so all the chairs were wet.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry that some aspects of the property did not meet your expectations. Florida’s rainy season can be especially challenging for exterior areas, and the recent heavy rain has contributed to the porch and lawn needing additional attention. We are addressing the maintenance items mentioned, including the screened porch and the roof leak, and appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention. We’re continually working to keep the property well-maintained and comfortable for our guests.

This house is a true gem. Great home base for visiting and kayaking all the natural springs in the area--and plenty to just at the house itself. We came here to decompress after sensory overload at the Disney parks in Orlando, and so glad we did!The house is clean and updated, the pool area was inviting and refreshing (well worth the cost of heating this time of year). The game room was a big hit with arcade games, air hockey, skee ball, and dual shot basketball. We'd highly recommend kayaking the Weeki Wachee River. You don't have to pay to enter the state park, just go there and rent from the kayak outfitter that is just adjacent (reservations can be made in advance). It's a two hour paddle down magnificent clear water in a lush almost jungle-like setting, and we got to kayak right beside a mama manatee and her baby!Walmart is close but don't forget to stop at Wood Fire Pizza Truck down the road. Yum! The host is great, so easy to check in and check out. You will not regret staying here!

We love hearing that you made special memories enjoying the heated pool and game room, exploring the area’s beautiful natural springs, and kayaking along the Weeki Wachee River to see the manatees. Thank you as well for sharing your local recommendations with future guests. We’re so happy our home played a part in making your trip special, and we sincerely appreciate your recommendation!

The house itself was very pretty and overall we enjoyed our stay. The only downsides were that we weren’t able to adjust the AC temperature, which made it a little uncomfortable at times, and there weren’t any washcloths provided along with not quite enough towels for everyone. Other than that, the place was nice and had a great look to it.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the home overall and appreciated the look of the property. We do provide AC controls within a set range for system protection and guest comfort, but we’re sorry if it felt uncomfortable at times. We’re also able to remotely adjust the temperature for guests at any time — we just ask that guests reach out during their stay so we can help right away. Regarding towels, we provided one towel for each twin bed, two towels for each queen and king bed, plus 8 pool towels for guest use. We appreciate your comments and will also review the washcloth supply to make sure everything is fully stocked for future guests.

Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re thrilled you found the home beautiful. Regarding the pool, during Florida’s rainy season leaves and debris can collect more quickly, but we do our best to keep it sparkling for our guests and will continue improving our process. We also appreciate your suggestion about adding TVs in more rooms and will keep it in mind for future upgrades. We hope to welcome you back soon for another relaxing stay!

The house was fantastic with a nice pool. We were a large family and the house was spacious enough that we weren’t stepping on each other. The older kids enjoyed the game room. We had some questions while we were there and the owners were quick to respond. We also really enjoyed the kitchen, but mostly used the outside grill for all our meals.
