“The Hideout” in the heart of Joshua Tree Village - Charming 2 bed/1 bath home

Welcome to our Desert Garden Hideout!

Centrally located in the heart of Joshua Tree, our 1958 Mid-Century home has vintage vibes and charm throughout, featuring an eclectic bohemian flair, and is surrounded by native cacti, succulents, plants, and trees.

We are within walking distance to the Joshua Tree Visitor Center and all the downtown activities, while being only 5 miles from the West Entrance of the National Park.

"The Hideout" is a cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bath bungalow that is fully fenced in with privacy fencing. We are just minutes away from restaurants, shops, cafes, galleries, and the Farmers Market on Saturdays.

We love the characteristics of an old home and have tried to keep as much of it as possible. Inside, you’ll find an open space with plenty of seating options. Our bookshelves span an entire wall of the living room and showcase a variety of books and magazines for you to enjoy. There’s a soundbar and a 55” smart TV with Roku that has apps you can sign in to watch all your favorite shows and movies. Strum on our vintage acoustic guitar and play some of our favorite vinyl on the record player, or bring your own! We also have many different board games for your night(s) in. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook, eat, drink, and to prep meals and appetizers. There are basic spices and condiments, and we also provide an assortment of teas, as well as fresh coffee beans. Clean linens, towels, and all the necessities needed for a comfortable stay.

The spacious outdoor area is great for entertaining. There is a BBQ grill, a fire pit, and a couple of lounge chairs for stargazing, along with several different seating and dining areas throughout the property. There’s an abundance of mature native desert cacti all around, so please be aware of your surroundings when walking around in the yard, especially at night and if there are children with you. This was our first home when we moved to the hi-desert from LA, making it is very special to us.
