Easy Stay

This place is easy to get to; close to Biloxi beaches and casinos and close to downtown Ocean Springs. We had a great time staying here!

Great place with room

They house was laid out very nice with plenty of room to spread out. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay. Convenient to everything. Very comfortable seating in the living room and bedrooms were great. Owners checked in on us before we got there and we had no need to contact them during our stay because everything was great

Hidden gem convenient to the casinos & restaurants

The location is perfect or the best of both worlds vacation to Biloxi. You get the peace & quiet of residential neighborhood but you're also minutes away from the casinos, restaurants, & minor league ball park. The house is clean, super cute & the property manager is very responsive (and, may have become a life-long friend)!

Nice Place

Nice place. Nice owner, she checked in with us multiple times and was patient with us since Hurricane Delta decided to make an appearance. We went for Cruisin' the Coast, its not far from the events. It was nice to have space and separate rooms for everyone.

Family stay

Bed bugs renters beware!!!! There is an infestation of bed buds in master bedroom. Karen was very understanding and refunded the full amount of our stay.

I am so sorry that you felt that there was an infestation of bed bugs. I have never had this happen in all the years we have been in operation . The only way there could be any problem of this type is for them to be brought in. All I can say is that the 5 tenants before before you and the 4 since you have had no complaints. I can assure you that we always strip the beds and bleach everything between each guest and we saw no bugs of any kind. I did, of course, give you a full refund for your reasonable concern and inconvenience. As you know, we had our exterminator professionals there the next day before you even got all your belongings out. He said there was not an infestation. There were absolutely no other bugs found anywhere in the house. He said these bugs were just recently brought into the house . I paid him $600 to do 2 treatments to make sure the 2 he saw was the end of it . I was trying to accommodate you and your family so you could come in at last minute with all your belongings from base housing to stay for a few weeks while waiting on your new house to be ready. I was glad that you were actually able to move back into base housing and sure that also saved you lots of money. This type thing could happen in hotels, or anywhere a guest might come into, who may have picked up a hitchhiker bug. Again, to be clear, my home was inspected by professionals and had 2 preventive treatments. My "renters" really do not need to beware. There are no bedbugs. Your 1 star rating was sad. Thanks for lowering my overall rating.

Family reunion

We were going to be in town for a family reunion and needed a place for 2 small family groups to stay. This rental house was the perfect size for the 6 of us. It was very conveniently located to the interstate, restaurants, shopping areas and the casinos. The house itself is very well taken care of. It was clean and had a lot of amenities included. We would definitely consider renting again if we stay in the area again.

Wonderful time!

I rented this house as a surprise for my husband's birthday. The owner, Karen was very helpful with any questions and made herself available. Upon arrival, the home was very clean, and had just about everything you could think of needing. It was a nice relaxing short get away. The day we were leaving, my husband asked if we could rent this home again:) Thank you Karen for our wonderful long weekend. We were especially thankful we were able to bring our dog to enjoy it with us.

my stay

I had a business reason to extend my stay in the biloxi area for 10 days and a hotel is too small. The house was perfect, from having coffee available, fast high speed internet, fully equipped kitchen and very pleasing decor. The separate office space with a pullout bed in the loveseat was an extra I did not expect. I will be returning here for any stay over two days in the future

Weekend Fishing Getaway

Nice property that suited our group of 4 and two fur babies just fine for the weekend. We lived on the coast for 10 years and came back to get a day in fishing and also visit our church/friends which is only two minutes away. Hosts are very responsive and helpful. There is no cable or satellite tv just HD Antenna stations but there is a firestick so if you use this type of service currently you can log on and still watch sports.

Travel Softball in Diberville

We rented this property since we had a travel softball tournament in Diberville that weekend. Place is nice with plenty of room for 6 guests. Everything was clean with all the essentials. Location is convenient to everything. If there was anything that I could fault it would be the inside central unit. It is rather loud when running. Other than that everything was great. Would rent again.

Quiet, clean, convenient location

My family and I had a wonderful visit with our daughter that is in the military. The home was clean and in a quiet location. Within 5 to 15 min drive to restaurants, Keesler afb and, beaches. The home manager communicated all information and was super helpful with all questions I had. I highly recommend this home for long stays in a home away from home. My family and I loved the stay, and we will plan a longer vacation with this home. It has washer and dryer, very nice fridge. Stove and microwave, and anything else a home away from home would need. Did I mention quiet and secure home and neighborhood? Will stay again!

D'Iberville Cruisin the coast 2021

We thoroughly enjoyed your lovely home, thank you for sharing it with us!! The house was everything depicted and more, the pictures on vrbo do not do it justice! Obviously you are an accomplished artist, you paintings are beautiful, and it's so tastefully decorated. The mattresses on beds were very comfy. If we had anything to note it is that the water pressure in the master shower is so low. Otherwise you thoughtfully provided every detail for our comfort. Thanks so much and hope to visit again soon.

Bare Essentials

Shower in master bath barely with any water pressure. No Wifi, only a handful of TV channels. Cookware and grills are NOT useable. No extra linens, not even a blanket. Minimal towels. No ashtrays outside as advertised. Be sure to bring bug spray/candles if you plan on spending any time on the patio!

I am so sorry to hear that you were not totally happy with your stay. I spoke to my maintenance man today about the water pressure being low in the mast. shower. I am not sure why you are saying there is no WIFI. The WIFI number is posted on a special plaque on left wall of utility as you enter the house. The grills are old but are charcoal grills and we usually have extra charcoal stored in utility. They aren't pretty but they can totally be used for cooking with coals. I am not certain what cookware was a problem for you. I have a pretty good selections of pots, pans, sheet pans, casserole bowls, dishes, two types of coffee pots, 2 types of toasters, blender, microwave, gas oven. . There are 3 beds and we supply linens for 3 beds including the comforts. If you needed extra for different sleeping arrangements, you only needed to call us. We also leave out 8 towels, 4 hand towels, and 12 washcloths. There is a washer and drier in the house that can be used if needed. Again, just give us a call. We would have delivered extras in a few min. Not many people ask for blankets in the summer. I do not know where the ashtrays went to but thanks for letting me know and we will get some more right away. Last but not least, the mosquitoes are terrible right now. I did just purchase and leave a can of wasp spray and several other types & there were several cans of repellent in utility cabinet. I guess the citronella candles I had out there were missing so I will get those replaced. I wish that you would have just given me a call if you needed anything at all and we would have gladly brought it over to you. Thanks for your review.

Owner was quick ,responsive and very helpful! Loved the new gas stove. Mardi Gra parade past in front of rental!! Fabulous extra! So many staple items were ther to get us started thank you. Tile floor was excellent and obviously professionally laid and clean! Walls looked newly painted

Working weekend

I would recommend this property. Karen was a super host. Called to tell us we could check in early if would be arriving early. Asked her to add a extra day at the last minute. And she accommodated us. Property was as described in listing. Would stay here again.

In 1965, our father transferred to Keesler Air Force Base from Amarillo, Texas where I was born and raised. I was in High School, my brother in college. Our parents had our home, Vaneaton Place built in 1965. It was one of the first built in the whole subdivision. The coast looked a lot different back then. It was considered the hot spot for vacation and weekend get away. Lots of nightclubs, beach, amusement park, miniature golf.... underground slot machines and gambling. My parents had fallen in love with the Mississippi Coast while on a vacation trip a few years earlier. Hurricane Betsy hit the first month we moved to the coast! What a greeting and what a mess along the beach. Nothing compared to 1969, Hurricane Camille. That really wiped out the coastline. It gave us lots of stories to tell and lots of rebuilding to do. Our home, Vaneaton Place, had no damage. Just trees uprooted. We stayed in the house during the storm. The glass sliding door buckled back and forth from the pressure of the storm. It passed during the night hours and the darkness during the eye of the storm was so eerie that I'll never forget it. Many lots along the scenic beach drive stayed empty for years and years.
Life went on. The coast built back. We grew up, had families and moved away but Biloxi, Mississippi remained home for our parents. Hurricane Katrina came along in 2005 and really devastated our beautiful coast all the way from Alabama to Louisiana. Our home actually had about 1 foot of water come in so we lost almost everything. Our Mom never was able to move back in but she did pick out all the colors that you see painted throughout the home. Some of the furnishings are the original. They are all special memories for us. Our Mom loved her home and yard. It is a very special place to us and to our children who have always had it in their lives. A place full of wonderful memories.

We wanted to keep the house in our family because it is such a part of us. A place we can go to and visit and a place that we can open up and share to travelers who understand how much it mean to us. A place we still call home.

We are in a quiet area but just 10 min drive to the beach. There are so many places to shop and eat within minutes of the house including a large movie theatre. There are 7 casinos within a 10 to 15 min drive. Of course fishing and golfing all over the place... Who could ask for a more relaxing place to go.

Rent a kayak and explore the Tchoutacabouffa River – as soon as you learn how to pronounce it. If that’s not quite your style, stroll through the shops of The Promenade or indulge in local cuisine packed with seafood. If the kids are hoping for a break from an adventure-packed trip, catch a movie or have a bowling night with the family.
