Great Stay

Neighborhood was wonderful, loved the outside shower, & the bungalow was perfect for us and our two dogs. We were grateful to have access to all the beach and fun gear. We would stay there again.

We had a great quiet Christmas week here! Close to restaurants and playgrounds, we walked to the water. Also dog friendly, which is perfect

Great location

The floor needs work, could use update on bathroom, & the outside deck steps needs work done. Dining table was not the greatest & the living room furniture was uncomfortable so we used all pillows to make it comfortable. The beds were comfortable.

Cozy Cottage

This cottage was just right for us. Quiet neighborhood close to everything. We had more then enough room. We really enjoyed our time here. Hopefully in the near future we can come stay again.

Great stay!

This place is really charming. There is lots to do both at the house and in the surrounding area. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, the beds are comfortable, and the place had all of the supplies to meet our needs. We found it particularly great that we had access to all the beach gear. The owner was helpful in providing a lot of helpful info about the place and the surrounding area prior to our trip so we were able to better plan out our time there. It was a great stay.

Not as expected (bugs! beach?)

Pictures made it appear as if the cottage was right on the beach and this is not true. We were unable to use the hammock since the area it’s in is very overgrown. Our children (ages 11) refused to stay in the bunkhouse because of all the bugs and the very noisy bed that creaked every time they moved. The main cottage was very nice, the separate ice maker was a lifesaver and the mudroom offered plenty of beach toys and chairs. The big TV was great along with the nice comfy couch. The golf cart was a really nice added amenity to explore the neighborhood but it really needs a tune-up. And it would have been nice to have more than one extra roll of toilet paper stocked as we ended up going to the store to get more to accommodate five people using the restroom for five days. Overall we enjoyed our vacation to the area.

Beach Vacation

When we read some of the other reviews in regards to this cottage being hot and unable to cool off in peak heat we were very leary. We came in and it was super cold and extremely comfortable! No worries one bit after that! Kevin has all the necessities you need to enjoy your stay! He was very responsive to our message when we did have a hiccup and got us going again in a matter of minutes! We honestly couldn’t be happier with our choice of a cottage while here. Just FYI
if you bring your pups with you there really isn’t a great area to let them out to go to the bathroom so you will have to take them out and walk them but PLEASE make sure to pick up their poopies! The neighbor people seemed really nice, although we didn’t speak, but
they do have a very large dog that roams around outside and does poop in the yard so be careful walking around. That would be our only issue we had while there! All in all it was a GREAT TIME!!! Make sure to add your letter to the guest book on the table between the 2 chairs! It was fun reading all of them! We will definitely be back

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The host is not responsive. We ended up leaving a day early due to accommodations.

Fun, but needs an update

Owner very responsive to getting washer fixed so we could wash linens that were dirty when we arrived. All furniture very uncomfortable and dirty. Extremely pet friendly, however had pet odor that worsened when it rained. Cleaning service does not seem up to par. Floor very unstable in a few areas that we just avoided. Volleyball court and bunkhouse very nice. Proximity to beach as described. Seemed to be only house on street that was occupied however the neighborhood was beautiful.

2025 Family vacation

We Stay Here 2-3 Times a Year

We have stayed here 2-3 times a year for the last 15 years. We use the Ocean Kayak, Stand Up Paddle Board, ice machine to fill up ice chests every day, beach chairs and umbrellas. We walk to the restaurant and Tiki bar at the Bear Point Harbor marina in the neighborhood - The best sunsets on the whole island. This is by far our favorite place to stay in Orange Beach.

Kevin is always a pleasure to deal with. Honestly there is no dealing. We booked the home and that was that! You can contact and he is very responsive. We actually asked for another night but unfortunately someone was already coming. Next year we will make sure to get that day!

Weekend Trip

We ended up having to leave for personal matters, however our short time there it was very cute, neat, and had awesome amenities! The guest house is very cute, and photos do not do justice of the whole property. It is very cute!

Spring visit to Orange Beach area

Older cottage in nice neighborhood. Comfortable, but could use some upgrades. Well stocked kitchen, appreciated cleaning supplies & provided paper products & use of beach chairs. Nice backyard space.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

It is a very open cottage with hard wood floors and ceilings. It is a quiet neighborhood walking distance to the marina, restaurant and bar and a place where everyone knows your name. The back bays are great for jet skiing, kayaking and traveling to great restaurants and bars by kayak, Paddle-Board or boat. Enjoy watching the dolphins and incredible sunsets. Neighborhood is great for walking, canoeing and kayaking, swimming and fishing.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We have Ocean Kayak, Stand Up Paddle Board, Surf Board and Beach chairs for you to use. We are also along the Orange Beach Canoe/Kayak trail. Walk to OSO restaurant and Tiki Bar (https://www.osobearpoint.com/) at the marina in the neighborhood for the best sunsets on the island. Less than 10 minutes to the Flora Bama. Directly across the bay from Pirates Cove for great burgers and the best Bushwackers anywhere.
