Köket Àr fullt utrustat. TvÀttmaskin och torktumlare. Alla bekvÀmligheter i hemmet och bara nÄgra steg till den vackra vita sandstranden. Strandservice Àr tillgÀnglig. AnlÀggningen har en uppvÀrmd pool, trÀningsanlÀggning, spelrum, tennisbanor och shuffleboard. Vi Àr mitt i underbara restauranger, snabbmat, nöjesparker, livsmedelsbutiker och nöjesplatser. Kom ner! Amazing!!

Had an amazing time and the condo was very nice. We had a small issue with the refrigerator but it was taken care in less than a half hour. I messaged the owner and they were on it!! Now for the actual condo itself, it was beautiful and had plenty of room. The kitchen is very well stocked. You can sit on the patio and enjoy the ocean. We will definitely be back!!

Amazing

The property is amazing. The cleanliness of the unit could be better but overall clean. The security guard was amazingly friendly and always willing to help the guests. The pool was clean, the view was amazing.

The condo was very nice and clean. The listing pictures don’t really do it justice. It was little dated in some ways but updated in others. The complex was quiet and a nice community. Overall I would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

Perfect girls’ getaway

My best friend and I loved the condo! The pictures online don’t do it justice. It’s better than the listing describes. We had a perfect view of the ocean from our patio which gave us an incredible spot for morning coffee. The beach is a VERY short walk with easy chair and umbrella service. The ocean was an amazing view with colors from light teal to dark blue and the sand was snow white! There are tons of delicious restaurants around. I recommend Boshamps (but be ready for a 2 hour wait) and Louisiana Lagniappe. I highly recommend this condo AND this destination.

1. There was no stick to put in slide door to keep it from being open from the outside.2. There was a panel from the bottom of the stove that fell off I think it’s the floor tile3. One of bathroom stopper for tub was missing in master bed room. There was a blowout bulbs is out in living room .4. Small things but over all it was nice

Ocean view, just a few steps and you're on the beach. Nice little condo. It's my 2nd time to stay there so I enjoy it. Has everything you need. Beds are comfortable. Nice living room furniture. You won't be disappointed. Pool area us so nice.

Just as described

The property was just as described in the VRBO listing. It was clean and right off the beach. I did expect a little better view of the beach but what we had was fine. From the pictures and description in the listing it was difficult to decipher if the unit was on the end of the building or not. It is the third unit from the end of the building so does not overlook the beach directly.

The new decor really brightened up the living room. The bathrooms need updating. There was mold on the shower liners and curtains. It was a very nice condo, but had a damp and old stale smell upon walking in. Beautiful view. The property itself was quiet and peaceful. Whoever stayed above was really loud at night and early morning which made it hard to relax. The kitchen floor boards still aren’t fixed and seemed rotten and soft. The guard was very friendly and made sure the pool and grounds were clean and well kept.

Great Place to stay in Destin!

This was a great place to stay right on the beach as advertised. Host was very responsive. I would highly recommend this place and would stay here again. Bathrooms were a little dated but entire unit was very clean. The facility location is secure with gated entry and the beach is a 1 minute walk from the room. The beach wasn't too busy as this isn't a high rise which made for pleasant beach experience every time. Thanks to the host for sharing this gem!

This condo was fantastic; exactly what we were looking for. Super close to the beach and amazing view to ocean and pool. Resort was quiet and very family friendly. Beds were extremely comfy and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend to family/friends and would rent again, without hestation. Condo was located within 10 minutes of a lot of places and uber eats/Walmart deliveries were spot on. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Nice getaway, close to beach.

Pros: great view, close to beach, secure, quiet, ample furniture, kitchen ware, and towels. Clean overall. Cons: Musty, moldy smell as soon as entering, shower liner moldy and had to be changed, needs TLC due to rusted and chipping light fixture in MBR, peeling wallpaper in MBR and funky flooring issue in kitchen.

Wonderful Vacation

The condo was just right for our group. We loved how close it was to the beach and the view from the balcony was gorgeous. Everything was comfortable and relaxing. We had a wonderful vacation!

Kent Hardin of Memphis, TN is owner of this property. His father and uncle were amongst the first owners of units in this complex. Kent is an avid fisherman and known around town as Captain Kent.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Kent purchased this place from his Uncle Jabie Hardin back in the early 90s. When Opal came through and leveled the front two buildings , a complete rebuild was necessary. The balcony was expanded, bathrooms enlarged and a washer and dryer were added.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

One of the most unique features about the complex is the green lawn area between the buildings. In the evening you will find chairs pulled out in circles to talk and enjoy the view, children playing Frisbee, and people walking hand in hand down to the beautiful beach. Silver Dunes has retained its charm since the 70s and has not given way to the high rise craze. It is still a place to bring a family or friends and enjoy the ease of a walk up condo and be close enough to the beach to hear the waves lapping at the shore.
