En nivå, uppdaterad, 4 hus till stranden i Seaside!

Påminner om pastellfärgade Florida Beach Cottages från 1940-talet, "Cabana Fever" ligger tre hus ner från 30-A, en halv minuts promenad till stranden paviljongen eller Västsidan poolen, och sitter direkt över från Truman House (och till och med spelat en "bit-part" i den filmen). Det var den första stugan på Natchez Street och är en av de få enhöjdsstugorna i Seaside.
Denna tre sovrum, två och en halv bad stuga är möblerad med vintage rotting och 1940 s stolstol stolar samt bekväma samtida bitar. Många charmiga föremål hittades på försäljning av fastigheter och antikaffärer. Painstakingly utvalda konstverk sträcker sig från nyckfulla färg-för-antal nautiska bitar till popkonst till antik. Samlarobjekt inkluderar vintage akvarium figurer.
Stugan renoverades omfattande 2012 och upprätthöll visionen om ett gammalt Florida Beach House samtidigt som man introducerade nya apparater och elektronik (Wi-Fi och platt-TV). En eldstad läggs till och badrummen uppgraderas med marmor, tunnelbana kakel, takfönster och karmfönster. Havsfärgerna av aqua och blues intensifierades hela tiden. Du hittar sovrummet med king size-säng med privat badrum där badkaret och duschen är separata. Också ett gästdrottning sovrum och ett tredje sovrum med två dubbla bunkar i denna ursprungliga, stilfulla stuga. Hallbadet delas av båda sovrummen med tillgång från hallen och även från gästrummet.
Utsidan däck har en grill och gott om sittplatser för en lugn kväll. Det finns också en sluten utomhusdusch vid bakdörren för att skölja de sandiga fötterna.
Cabana Feber har också en gäst stuga som sover två kallas Cabana Babe. Perfekt för semestervistelser när du behöver extra utrymme för utökad familj !!

Spring Break at Cabana Fever

This place was absolutely darling! So cute and very clean. Lots of attention to details. We loved having happy hour on the screened in porch everyday after the beach. It was perfect for my family!

Our repeat vacay spot

We love Cabana Fever. It’s a home that can be easily overlooked because it’s a single story home and it’s one of the oldest homes in the Seaside community. However, this home is packed with charm and comfort. It’s well appointed and updated throughout. We stayed here last year and came back this year and plan to do the same in the future. The home is perfect for our family. The location makes getting to beach, pool, shops, and restaurants very easy. You can easily walk or ride a bike to any of these places. The property manager is always present on arrival to make sure we are all tucked in. I love their welcome bags!

Cabana Fever in May

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cottage has a wonderful layout, is roomy and very charming. We loved being on the front porch! Homeowners Collection, as usual, is wonderful to work with! It should be noted that this cottage is as far away from town center as you get in Seaside. My only complaint has nothing to do with the cottage but with the beach pavillion one must use if staying here. I have vision issues and there are no real handrails to use to walk up and down several flights of stairs. I could only go to the beach if someone was there to help me. We will still return to Seaside a time or two every year but we won’t rent a cottage that has to use this walk over. However, it shouldn’t affect anyone with normal mobility.

Seaside Perfection

We have two children ages 4 and 7 and they both walked easily to the pool, the beach, and to shops and restaurants from the house. The home itself was incredibly clean and comfortable. Cabana Fever is like its own little art gallery with paintings and unique decor. We will most likely reserve this home again when we return to Seaside. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. There is a guest house, Cabana Babe, that is a separate rental if you are needing more space than the 3 bedrooms. We will keep that in mind if we need additional space in the future.
