Mot vinden B är en fem sovrum, fyra bad oceanfront duplex ligger 0. 1 miles söder om Garden City Pier. Denna fastighet har ett fullt utrustat kök med graniträknare, apparater i rostfritt stål, inklusive mikrovågsugn och diskmaskin, tvättmaskin, torktumlare och centralvärme och luftkonditionering. Fyra plattskärms-TV-apparater (40-tums TV / DVD-kombination i master), fyra DVD-spelare och Wi-Fi finns också. Sovrum inkluderar en king och två queen size-sängar, två tvilling-över-dubbla våningssäng uppsättningar och två queen bäddsoffor. Bekvämt beläget nära några av de bästa attraktionerna i området, ligger Garden City Beach direkt söder om Surfside Beach och slutar på en halvö vid mynningen av Murrells Inlet. The house was perfect for our family. We especially liked the large dining room table . All beds were comfortable, and it was a bonus to have linens provided. The kitchen utensils are very basic. In response to our concern about the poor condition of the pots and pans and the lack of larger mixing bowls, the realty company sent over new ones. Garden City Realty was professional and helpful in all communications. The only disappointment was the beach replenishment which occurred during our stay.

Overall good property. Good communication with host re: check-in and check-out.We were there for a golf trip and didn't engage to address either, but it seemed like water pressure was a little lower in some of the showers, and one of the bedroom TVs wasn't working.

Great family vacation house

Awesome Vacation Rental

We enjoyed our stay at this beach rental. It was close to the pier in Garden City. A live band on one end and karaoke on the other end. Great view of the ocean. Great customer service on a maintenance issue. Very prompt response. I would suggest adding a grill for outdoor cooking. Overall very happy.

Family Vacation 2015

We also loved sending our daughter and her cousins out to play in the sand on the beach just steps away from the back door. The location was close to a lot. The kitchen was well equipped with the exception of a few baking dishes. It was Thanksgiving after all. :)

Best vacation ever!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time. The sunrises in the morning were amazing. The view of the pier and the sounds from the pier at night were great. We saw sharks swimming at the end of the pier and watched dolphins swimming just off the shore! The only complaint that I do have is that many of the people that vacationed with us (including children) got splinters from walking on the deck and walkway to the beach. Other than that we had a great time! Thank you so much.

Myrtle Beach every year for the past 10 years and this was my first time in Garden City. I am in love. We have already planned next year in same house or another with Garden city realty. They were friendly and helpful. Beach beautiful and quiet. Not nearly as crowded as the N. Myrtle area. Location close to everything you need. Town small and friendly. Views from house beautiful and a very very short walk to pier.

Dirty!!!

This property needed serious attention. We covered the couches with sheets just to sit on them. Sand caked in the corners of the stairs. We bought new comforters because the ones available had to be from the 70’s! They were disgusting! We found earrings and q-tips beneath the sheets! Not worth the money!

Great house, price, and loacation, BUT.....

Reviewer Comments: We’ve stayed in both sides of this house several times and will definitely rent again, BUT.....this year several basic maintenance issues caused some frustration that can easily be fixed. 1. The kitchen is no longer well stocked with basic supplies. 2. The internet was randomly intermittent in maintaining a connection. 3. The sink drains were slow. 4. The sliding door did not open/close smoothly. 5. The vegetation is taking over the driveway which makes getting in/ out of vehicles difficult along with loading/unloading our luggage. Theses are all simple fixes, and overall did not diminish all the wonderfulness of the house layout, price, and location. We will definitely be back!!

Against the Wind B, oceanfront, great view of the pier

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First I will say - we had an awesome vacation - however I would not stay in this property again, for a couple of reasons. The views were great and the location convenient, especially with teenagers, however, something we didn't consider was that the pier is very LOUD every, single night with live music. So you lose that relaxing lull of the ocean being drowned out by bass and drums. The furniture was not very comfortable and the selection of pots/pans was a joke. I had to reclean the bathrooms, and sweep the floor. I can't say re-sweep because I doubt highly that the floor was swept before we entered the home. I do not expect "white glove" perfection, however I do expect clean. 2 of the 4 showers needed maintenance - and they were great about coming out on Sunday. We love Garden City and will come back, just not to this home.

SC beach vacation

The location can’t be beat. Unfortunately, that doesn’t out way the negatives we encountered during our stay. The house has very few “extra’s”. The one and only knife was too dull to peel an apple. The pans are either unusable or too small to be useful. There were palmetto bugs and most likely roaches found throughout the house during our stay. That may be normal for a beach house I don’t know. The smoke alarm went off one afternoon. I called maintenance they came out and fixed it( per the tag they left). The alarm went off again that night at 2:00 am, not fixed. The outdoor garbage was overflowing and covered with ants and fly’s when we arrived. It was not picked up during our stay and had quite the odor by the time we left, 5 days later. The vents appeared to have mold in them. The patio door also appears to have mold along the tracks. The door is difficult to open/shut and should be replaced. We did appreciate the professionally cleaned and packaged bedding and the kits of soap, shampoo, etc. in each bathroom.

excellent location but could use a good cleaning and updating

Reviewer Comments: Couldn't get the ice maker to work, dryer only worked on high setting, our sliding door to balcony had a broken handle that was falling off, most everything in the home seemed like a collection of castoffs, from the furnishings to the kitchen pans and utensils etc. Home seemed as if only a quick what's necessary cleaning gets done in this home. I noticed food splatter marks on cabinets in kitchen, like they haven't been wiped down in some time, carpet definitely needs a good cleaning if not replacing, overall the place just had a grungy feel to it. After looking past all of that, it really was an enjoyable time. The home is in an excellent location and provided an enjoyable relaxing vacation. Within walking distance to pier local arcades, bars and restaurants. Great surfing area, watched many surfers everyday for hours. Enjoyed just hanging out on the beach and balcony overlooking the ocean, made for a truly relaxing vacation. Great place for families plenty of space and well set up for families or large groups. Enjoyed going to local fish market for fresh catches and making our own dinners. Quieter slower paced area than central myrtle beach.

Treated like criminals at check in

At checkin at Garden City Realty, I was accused of falsifying the contract and told in a threatening manner that the owners did NOT rent to 'my type'. Two women took the packet to the back while I was left waiting. Then 3 LARGE men came out and tried to intimidate me into leaving. I was called a liar and they demanded all of my guests come in and hand over their licenses to be vetted. They finally relented and said our background checks were ok and gave us the code to check in. As we were leaving, one of the large men said they would be watching us and if we did anything wrong that they would kick us out, not let us gather our belongings and no refund. They tried to scare us into leaving. I'd paid 3 months in advance and filled out the contract with all of the information on my guests and all was ACCURATE. It was an unbelievable experience that I will never forget. I did absolutely everything perfectly and honestly on the contract, 3 MONTHS ahead of time and at checkin I am treated like a criminal in front of my friends. I am still shocked that a business would treat customers so unprofessionally. My friends are all educated professionals who plan to report this to the BBB and the C of C. The unit was fine, and matched the photos. The location was great. If not for the threats at checkin it would have been a very nice vacation. But Garden City Realty ruined it. I thought you should know.

Great location - bring sunglasses and kitchen supplies

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: OK starting with the pros: the hardwood floors throughout were beautiful. This house is a short walk to the entrance of the pier. The living room doors are huge and open to a deck with 4 rocking chairs and two small tables. We were able to fit four cars under the house and there's a public access right next door; if guests need to move to allow others to leave it is convenient. The living room has plenty of seating with two couches, could maybe use one or two additional chairs. Loved the fact that each of the main bedrooms had their own bathroom. The little Garden City amenity kits were a nice touch, and the laundry machines and dryer were efficient.Some of the cons: The layout is such though that only one couple will get the grand view of the ocean, the other two bedrooms are pretty tucked away and then the bunk rooms face the road. There were no coat hangers in the primary bedroom closet. You have to make your own bed on arrival – they bag up all the towel sets and all the sheets sets up in plastic and it's kind of a surprise whether or not you get a fresh smelling set of sheets...I had to open various sets from other unoccupied beds before finding some that didn't smell like too badly like old linen that’s been sitting in a closet. Neither the top primary bedroom that faces the ocean nor the living room has curtains so during certain hours of the day the sun just sears inside and there's nowhere to hide- it is BRIGHT. Also sadly, I primarily rented this house because I saw the amazing table with so much seating. We rented over Thanksgiving so we're planning a full-on cooking event for at least a few of the days. The kitchen was laughably stocked – better suited for a frat boy party than a family vacay. No cutting board, only a couple of dull knives, about 10 small pots and no big ones. No frying pan. No roasting pans, no serving bowls. The kitchen had around 100 plates (why?) but barely any cooking implements you would need for a family

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived at the rental we were very disappointed at the uncleanliness or the unit. In the upstairs master bedroom, and also another of the upstairs bedrooms, the comforters were dirty. When we proceeded to pull up the comforter to put linens on the beds, the mattress in the master bedroom had two large stains which appeared to be urine. (they were large and were a yellowish, brown color. The second upstairs bedroom also had stains on the mattress. The pillows were stained in all 5 bedrooms. The microwave was filthy and rusted out inside. The sliding door to the deck fell off and we could barely slide it open and closed. We arrived late so unfortunately we were not able to call about our issues until the next day. When I spoke with a manager she said she would have someone come out and clean the matresses, provide pillows and have someone fix the door in a couple of days. Waiting around for someone to clean the mattresses and sleeping on wet mattresses is not acceptable. I contacted her supervisor and after going round and round he hung up on me. I proceeded to call one or the board members who came out to the unit. He recognized that there were issues with the unit and defended the manager who hung up on me. He also gave us a $150.00 refund which didn't even cover one night in the house. We were only able to use three of the five bedrooms in the units that we paid for. The management is unprofessional and rude and our issue with the filth of the mattress was not properly addressed.

It is unfortunate that we were unable to come up with an agreeable solution to accommodate you during your stay. We understand why you may not have wanted to move to a different property or have the mattresses cleaned. We are, however, pleased we were able to agree on a refund, albeit small, to compensate you for the inconvenience. Nonetheless, we appreciate you taking the time to provide this valuable information to us. It’s reviews, such as yours, that often bring concerns to our attention that have gone unreported or overlooked. It gives us the opportunity to improve our services for the benefit of future guests. As a result of your feedback, the owner had the mattresses cleaned upon your departure. Since then, they have replaced some of the older mattresses and pillows as well as the microwave.

Don’t stay here!!!

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived, I noticed the flour was disgusting, no welcome packet as the site stated. The sliding door is broken. Kitchen chairs And rocking chairs broken. The shrubs scratched our cars. There is black mold coming from all the air vents. The worst part is it was totally infested with roaches!!! Don’t stay here. When I told them of all this, the lady didn’t offer any compensation and just sent over maintenance to remove a chair and bring a dustpan. One good thing is it’s right in the beach.

Decent Location Awful House

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house needs to be remodeled. The beds are shot. The couches are shot. The floors are warped. The toilet in the green bedroom ran several times a night and was stained. I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay in that place.
