Fantastic Views from an Amazing Property

I cannot stress enough how much that this property is in a great location, close to downtown, but feels secluded enough within a wooded neighborhood. Our host, Jason, provided great/frequent communication right when we booked until our check-out. The property has simply stunning views from both patios. Everything within the property was proper and well taken care of. I cannot recommend this property enough!

Wonderful location/views, minor issues

We were a family of 9 with kids. The location on the hill overlooking Napa is pretty. The furnishings and interior were comfortable. Adequate parking for 3 cars.The property manager was very responsive to a couple of minor issues we had with the hot water in the main bathroom and some bugs in the carpeted area. Minor odor in the carpeted area. The handyman was sent out quickly when there was a screeching sound when the heater was turned on. Overall, a good find!

Great location, needs more attention to amenities

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had to have maintenance come in as the air conditioner stopped working. Also, one bed upstairs had torn bed sheets on it. And there were only 4 towels and 5 rolls of toilet paper for the 4 of us for 5 days.

Wonderful views, lacks an adequate shower

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The views and location were beautiful. The set up allowed for my daughter and her partner to have the basement bedroom, while my son and I had our own beds in the loft. The spiral staircase is difficult with luggage and/or after wine tasting. The only bathroom is in the basement, and has a very tiny shower. I hit my head on the tiny corner ledge after getting up from getting shampoo, and I’m a small person. For the price, the shower at the very least should be remodeled. The steep driveway was difficult to navigate with a large SUV, not much space to turn around, especially with another car from the main house rental. No dishwasher, but that was okay. The views and having a common area were key.

Serene house!

We were a group of adults, and we loved our stay in this beautiful home. Everything about staying at his place was wonderful from the communication and check-in to the spacious home and views. The neighborhood was quiet and serene. We enjoyed short drives. . All in all, great location, house, and host with no complaints!

Enjoyed every moment

This property is in a great location, convenient to the heart of town, yet in a lovely wooded neighborhood. Host provided great communication from the moment of inquiry to check-out. As other reviews stated, this house has incredible views from both patios. We even saw deer close by and viewed the stars thru the skylight from the loft bedroom. On a typical day, we would never desire to watch TV while in beautiful Napa. However, being from Texas, we were excited to watch game 7 of the World Series. The TV is high quality and was perfect for cheering on the Astros!

Simply amazin

We had 6 people with us and it was enough room for all of us. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook with. The views are great and you are a very quick drive into downtown. Host was quick to respond if we had any questions or concerns. Overall, Great house, great location, great host.

Great -- if you only want to eat out all the time

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It's a very beautiful and convenient location for enjoying Napa. Just a short drive to the center of town with great restaurants which is great since actually cooking anything -- even warming anything -- isn't going to work very well. Please note that the most powerful appliance in the unit is a $89 toaster oven from Target. The fridge is approximately 8 feet tall. The kitchen is wired for an electric stove, so I am not quite sure why it doesn't have one. Also note that there is no dishwasher -- and we went out and purchased a dish drainer so we could wash the dishes. We were supplied with two practically empty bottles of dish soap and six brand-new never-used towels. One trash bag in one tiny garbage can. One roll of paper towels. (Plenty of toilet tissue). No spray cleaner. Minimal bath amenities. Skimpy supply of towels. Regarding maintenance. Someone needs to check light bulbs on a regular basis. The kitchen was lit by one fixture with three 25 watt candelabra bulbs. All the kitchen flood lights (9 -- count them NINE) were burned out, along with one of the carriage lamps on the deck. The carpet has seen much happier days -- very very happy apparently -- and needs a professional steam clean at the minimum and retirement would be preferred. Prospective guests should note that the unit is three levels connected with spiral stairs -- and the master bedroom and only bath are in the basement on the lowest level.Parking is tight. Suggest that the owner provide lines on the driveway. Do not overload the deck. The joists are in need of repair and reinforcements. Comment from a PE/home builder.Beds are comfortable, furnishings are adequate, although despite the description there isn't a closet in the entire place. Do not plan on unpacking your suitcase -- no dressers, no closets. Should I be grateful there's a luggage rack?Overall, the property has a lot of potential. With maintenance upgrades it would be m

The best place to stay in Napa.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my first Airbnb experience and I was absolutely delighted with it. Stephen was prompt and thorough with his answers to my several questions. The furnishings and general views overlooking the valley were the highlights of this guest house - both of which are very luxurious and really give you a true "Napa" feeling during your stay. My only con would be having only one bathroom for larger parties but it worked perfectly for our group of four. Overall, the price point compared to other Airbnb's in the area is definitely worth the stay and I highly recommend it.

Great host, house, and stay! Location is wonderful

The house is lovely and well appointed. It's well located. The photos are reflective of the spaces. It's the perfect location for being in Napa and is private despite being near to town. Views from the decks are fantastic. Beds are very comfortable. Lots of room to enjoy downtime or sampling the wine purchased at the wineries.

This house was beautiful!!

This house was beautiful!! The view was by far the best part. My three girlfriends and I came up for a girls weekend in Napa and stayed here. The house was clean, quiet, and the kitchen was stocked with kitchen necessities. Because we were cooking most of the time it would have been nice to have the basic cooking essentials but we managed without them. The hardest part was having one small bathroom and four girls. The bathroom is down stairs and is very small, but cozy. The house is close to everything in Napa so we loved the location.

Very nice place!

This place is very nice, cozy, in a quiet, scenic neighborhood with a gorgeous view from the balcony. If you like to walk, walking down to the market and restaurants is about a mile down hill; otherwise, you can uber or drive and your are there in 5 min. The place has all your basic necessities. We really like the view, easy to sit on the patio, with a bottle of wine and a good book to watch the sunset or relax after a busy day. Great location!!
