This is an upscale Key Largo townhouse you would not expect to find in the Florida Keys. With it's Malibu feel, this Chic two Bedroom unit is located at The Kawama Yacht Club! Just minutes away from John Penne Kamp State Park, known worldwide for its underwater scuba and snorkeling. Great restaurants are within walking distance. FREE VERY FAST Wi-Fi.
The unit has been professionally decorated and completely remodeled in August 2024. The design reflects a vintage and modern look and captures the tranquil elegance of the sea with an artful mix of chic and rustic elements.
The property offers a 400 foot jetty where you will take in spectacular sunsets. The unit overlooks a salt water lagoon from its large balcony and is steps away from 2 heated pools, tennis courts and a MARINA. Adults can watch the kids swim in the lagoon or jump off the platforms while relaxing on the balcony or the living room. Hammocks and loungers behind the balcony. The unit comes loaded with all new amenities. High speed Wi-Fi and 3 large smart TVs.

The living area and master bedroom have an array of large windows overlooking a beautiful lagoon which brings in natural light. The living room seating includes a sectional to comfortably seat the entire family. Unit includes new driftwood-finish oak flooring and a modern kitchen with seating for five on the counter and formal dining for eight. The master bedroom has a king bed and bunk beds and a 55” Smart TV with Internet connection. The guest room has a queen bed and also has a 55” Smart TV with Internet connection. The living space comfortably sleeps SIX. It has one full bathroom and one full bathroom downstairs, washer and dryer, free WiFi.
Kawama Yacht Club’s amenities include an on-site marina (with boat ramp), oceanfront access, 24 hour security, boat trailer parking, fresh salt water lagoon, heated pools, kids playground and tennis courts. These amenities make Kawama Yacht Club a very desirable vacation. You can go boating, snorkel, kayak, paddle-board and fish or just catch a tan. Access to the marina ramp is free. If you need a boat slip let us know and we can make special arrangements.

Fun in the Florida Keys

The property is well maintained and clean. It was a nice central location between Miami, the Everglades and Key West with nice dining options a quick walk away. The property manager Diana was very quick to respond to our questions.

Great unit and wonderful property

This unit, is a two-story condominium with a “great room“ on the ground floor and bedrooms upstairs. The larger bedroom has a king size bed and bunk beds making it perfect for a family with 2 children. The second room accommodates 2 people well, and has a large west facing deck off the room for lovely sunsets.There is an enclosed patio that leads out to a small yard area with lounge chairs. It was very nice to be able to sit out in the evening after the children went to bed. There are two swimming pools which are very nice, but the biggest draw for us was the sandy beach and saltwater lagoon. The unit provides two small kayaks, which were greatly enjoyed by the children.Another feature we enjoyed was walking out to the jetty. There’s a very nice area there with attractive seating and two charcoal barbecues. We often walked out to the end of the jetty in the evening to watch the sunset.The host was very accomodating and communicated well.

The townhome was great for us! Decorated very stylish. Had everything we needed. Comfortable beds. The owner was very responsive and very sweet. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was really good!

When can I go back?

This unit was adorable and checked off so many boxes. The beds were comfy, the location was great, it was safe, and had every amenity we needed. The decorations and vibe were on point; even lightly decorated for Christmas! Plenty of outdoor amenities in this complex; the jetty was the best for sunsets. This unit has the best backyard space over other units; it was larger and had a hammock and lounge chairs. Only negative was that complex locked pickleball/tennis courts and wanted you to check out a key.

Happily surprised

We loved the property. It more than met our expectations. Some how I missed the line abkut the private man made salt water lagoon (no alligators or scarey fish) which stretched across the property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautifully decorated and very comfortable condo. Everyone we met on our morning walks was super friendly. This property has so much to offer and the location was perfect for everything we wanted to do in Key Largo.

Great place with little kids

Nice property, cleaned and very well decorated. Great amenities around if you travel with little kids (small kayaks, kids pool, etc). Our kids are 19 and 17 so not as much there for them to do but we enjoyed the tennis and pickleball court. The kitchen appliances would need some upgrades. We had a couple of rainy days and attempted to do some cooking and couldn't make a decent omelet with the pans available. Overall, we had a nice stay.

Still a great stay

This is our second time at Kawama, and we love staying in this particular property. It is always clean and comfortable. We love the lagoon, the fish, the pools, the screened in porch, as the mosquitoes can be bad in the Keys. The property is nicely decorated, bright, and beachy. The only thing we really missed was the golf cart that was available last year. I hope another one becomes available in the future. Adult size kayaks would be amazing, too, as our preteen has outgrown the child size ones, and we would like casual access to them as well. Rentals are available for both nearby, but we couldn’t justify the additional cost for occasional use.

Perfect!

Gorgeous home, great little community. We wanted a very laid back vacation, somewhere we could go and not have to travel much. This was perfect. The community had plenty to entertain my teenagers and small children. The home was clean and beautifully decorated. We felt very much at home!

Great Family Getaway!

We had such a great time during our stay at the Kawama! Such a fun location for our family of 5. We loved kayaking and swimming in the lagoon, swimming in all the pools, taking golf cart rides out to the jetty and we enjoyed playing various racquet sports on the tennis courts. We also loved all the nearby restaurants and activities. We were busy in a good way the whole time we were there. The townhome itself was great! I LOVED the decor of it and it was perfectly appointed with everything we needed. We absolutely would come back!

Great Getaway

We absolutely loved our experience staying at this property! Diana was very easy to contact and prompt at responding with any questions we had. The place was clean and beautiful!! Perfect location!

We loved the location. It was nice to swim between the the docks in the lagoon, walking around the point and just sitting outside enjoying the view. Kitchen needs help, no dishwasher which stinks for traveling parents especially since water pressure is lower. Maybe put a huge stack of paper plates in one of the cabinets,. The neighborhood also needs better trash removal, taking it to the dumpsters is extra stinky and gross! Beds were very comfortable, useful to have laundry machine. I’d recommend this place to anyone wanting a central spot to unwind after days snorkeling & scuba diving And if you go stop by the Dolphin place up the street and splurge on the activities like painting with them, it’ll be worth it.

We are a family of 4 that LOVES fishing, swimming and outdoors. We understand time is precious, therefore we are dedicated to spend time with family as much as we can. We have a 9-year old daughter and an 8-year old son that spend most of their weekends in the Florida Keys. We finally made a move and bought this house for ourselves as a with the idea to have it as a vacation home for ourselves and to offer it to other families like us that enjoy the sunny weather and outdoor activities.

We hope that you find this place as treasurable as it has been for our family.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Kawama is a treasure in the Florida Keys surrounded by ocean and beautiful amenities. This property is located in the ocean side. That being said, our boat stays at Kawama Marine and we like to enjoy the early morning with a cup of coffee before heading to the boat. Also the property is very close to the best fishing and snorkeling spots of all Florida Keys. The area is very safe for children. Our property balcony and living room faces the SALT WATER LAGOON where children spend hours there jumping from the platform. This is not to mention that the tennis courts are lit at night and we take advantage and stay a little late enjoying ourselves. My favorite spot is the jetty where I go, sit and relax. There is so much to do around that you would want to stay in the house!

Our property is professionally decorated with anything you can possibly need. We are distinguished amongst all other units. The property is very safe. Our children can enjoy playing outside without safety concern. The property is surrounded by INCREDIBLE amenities where you can enjoy the Marina, salt water lagoon, pool, jetty and even fishing. If you are a tennis lover, the courts are amazing. There is a perfect spot for everyone!
