Rocks Retreat är en privat strand fastighet med 335 meter ocean frontage på 12 avskilda tunnland. Den består av 2 stugor, 100 meter från stranden, ansluten av en uteplats och kakel gångväg. Du kommer inte hitta ett bättre värde, en mer prisvärd privat, avskild, direkt strand fastighet i den främsta Governors Harbour plats Bank Banks Road.

Main Cottage of Rocks Retreat är en 24 x 24 två våningar stuga med en bred omslag runt veranda. Hela övervåningen är ett enormt sovrum med två queen size-sängar och två enkelsängar. (Badrummet är nere.) Den har en underbar havsutsikt från sina många fönster och två härliga balkonger. Nedre våningen i Main Cottage är ett stort stort rum med kök, matsal och vardagsrum och ett litet badrum med kakeldusch. Köket är liten men tillräcklig. Det finns också en utomhusdusch.

För större grupper som behöver ett andra sovrum, är Guest Cottage en rymlig king size-svit med sittgrupp och ett badrum med dubbla handfat med badkar och separat kakeldusch. Gäststugan är tillgänglig för en extra avgift på $ 50 / natt, som också betalar för ytterligare två gäster. Om du inte behöver det kommer den att vara låst och inte hyrd till någon annan. Rocks Retreat är alltid uthyrd till bara en grupp i taget.

Main Villa rymliga sovrum med två queen och två enkelsängar har underbar utsikt från både balkonger och coola vindar ligger på andra våningen. Nackdelen med Main Villa är att badrummet är nere och inte mycket stort. Om du föredrar ett stort badrum (eller om du är en fest på mer än två), kan du lägga till gäststugan för $ 50 / natt.

Rocks Retreat ligger 100 meter från havet och den spektakulära Culmer Rocks som skiljer norr från södra stranden. Vi har tillgång till både spektakulära stränder, som vanligtvis är övergivna. De privata grunderna är klippta och rymliga med palmettos och palmer. Du har 12 hektar till dig själv!

Fredagskväll Fish Fry i Governors Harbour är en gata / strandfest som samlar alla turister och lokalbefolkningen med mat, dryck och dans på gatan. Du kommer inte vilja sakna det.

Paradise!!

Had an absolutely amazing stay at this gem of a property! I thought it might be too good to be true when I booked the trip, but the property actually exceeded all of my expectations! The two cottages are beautiful and the location is both completely private, and yet easily accessible. I was sad to leave, and hope to go back someday to this little slice of paradise!

Had a wonderful vacation…the property is very well taken care of and definitely on one of the best beaches on the island for walking/swimming etc. Kind of a magical place at nite with the houses located back in the palm trees. And definitely a pink sand beach all to yourself. Thanxs for sharing your wonderful home.

Oh Well

Last minute broken wrist caused us to have to stay home. Owners would not exchange or give us credit for a different date, which was a disappointment. Get the insurance if you want to book here, no exceptions.

Most days we had this beach & many others to ourselves. Rental company and caretaker were extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

I think the location is perfect. It’s close to Governors for restaurants and grocery shopping, and between Tippy’s and La Bougainville so convenient for dinners out or a beachside lunch. It’s easy to fly into GHB airport. The house is incredibly private because the acreage and sits directly on the most beautiful beach. It feels close to nature. There is a Venus pond right in front of the house that’s created by the rocks and tide. The home has peekaboo views of the ocean and you can hear the waves. Because it doesn’t sit directly ocean front it’s more protected from the wind and other elements we found this really relaxing. The floorplan and layout is a little unusual, but not uncommon for Bahamas cottages. The description is accurate. There is a house with kitchen, dining, living room and bunk room on the second floor. It feels more like a cabin. The master is a separate structure and was incredibly comfortable. The layout is a king bed with small sitting room. The bed is awesome and very comfortable. Going between the main house and primary suite is a little strange, but not a big deal. We loved this house and can’t wait to book again. Don’t think twice stay here!

Really good option with a nice secluded beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is really good with lots of space and a 5 minute walk to the secluded beach. The property is well stocked and has everything you could need. The only downside was that there were a lot of wasps, and also mosquitoes inside the big house, so I would recommend better fumigation / pest control. There were also some blinds missing in the upstairs room and some maintenance is needed. Overall, we liked it and had a good time.

July 2023 Stay

Great spot. House is private and the beach location is great for either in water or beach activities. Check in/out was smooth as well. Spent a week here with our three kids (between 6 and 11) and everyone loved it.

Absolutely gorgeous!

Such a beautiful place - the pictures do not do it justice! We had an amazing stay with our family - plenty of room to spread out, very clean and well appointed, and so comfortable. The beach is amazing and quiet, and the water to the left of the rock formation is perfect for swimming. The owner has thought of everything needed for a great stay - plenty of fluffy towels, blankets, pillows, beach equipment, etc. We hope to come back again someday soon!

Nice clean house in a private location

Reviewer Comments: This property has two buildings - the main house (kitchen facilities & 3 beds upstairs) and the master suite cottage (single large bed - very comfortable - we slept here). It's a short walk to the beach from the house along a private path. The property fronts onto the beach near some large rocks that form a natural barrier. You can go down to the beach on either side so it's like having access to 2 beaches - since we were looking for seclusion we chose the side with fewer or no people. Everything in the house was functional that we tried (oven, fridge), although the AC remote controls were a little hard to figure out. Overall, a very nice place - we would definitely go back.

Great family vacation

A quick stroll to the beach everyday, but having all that property to explore and birwatch was fantastic. Location is perfect, right in north Palmetto Point but feeling like you are out in the bush! The houses were well stocked with everything that we needed. All the appliances were in great shape, the beds were comfortable, and the furniture was in great shape. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay, and look forward to coming back.

Very private beach getaway

Loved this property. Was just as advertised. Beach was beautiful, house was great, loved the dual Sonos systems that we could connect to play music from. Well stocked with everything we needed for basics plus some bonus items. GREAT Wi-Fi, which was an important part of why we stayed with them. If you want a great place that's quiet, right on a beautiful beach, but still has great privacy, this is the place to rent!

Rocks Retreat ranks as one of our favorites. While it does not have full water view the path to the water is both easy and enjoyable. We have not experienced privacy like this home offers. There was not a single item we needed ( except food items) during our 10 day stay that was not available in the home. Decor is welcoming bed in master comfortable linens better than most all the beach needs. Best is the absolute privacy. Caregiver answered all emails quickly house was very clean.

Absolutely Perfect 7 Weeks in Eleuthera

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We sold our businesses a few years ago and bought an RV to travel around North America. Before we picked it up we were surprised to find out we were expecting an addition to the family so we headed out in the van to get in what we could before we welcomed our son into the world. During that time Covid became a thing in our world so we locked ourselves in for a couple of years. During that time we decided we would book a vacation for a couple of months in January 2022 truly thinking the pandemic would be over. As time grew closer our parents all had some health issues including one with covid and covid was not letting up. We were back and forth on whether to go or not but in the end we went for it. We could not have made a better decision. Kristin booked us the absolute perfect place for our family and friends to enjoy. The property was insanely private with us all enjoying outdoor showers daily and basically the most beautiful private beach you could dream of. We did some fishing and went and saw sea turtles a couple of times but otherwise we were fully content to be at Rocks Retreat. Marsha who handles the property is an incredible lady and our son absolutely adored her. Thank you to all of you for making this experience absolutely amazing.

Solid Eleuthera vacation home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 8th time on Eleuthera, and third separate rental. This house is nice and offers everything one would need to enjoy Eleuthera. The house is set back from the beach by about 100-150 yards, so don't expect to easily see the beach from the front porch. However, the beach and its unique "cove" geology are certainly awesome and worth the slight inconvenience of line of sight from the house. I do wish there was a welcome basket with some basic essentials like I've experienced in other houses. Only other slight was no TV (for watching football), but knew that going in. Overall, property was in good shape and had everything one would want to enjoy. The rental next door (on the rocks) had two families with lord of the flies-type kids that overran the beach (and rocks retreat private property) at times, but that is certainly not fault of owners. Marsha (manager) was responsive. Will likely be back ...

This place is awesome! I have been to Eleuthera 3 times this year and this is the best place of them all! Beautiful beach just steps away from the house. Beautiful stars at night and great spot for fishing. Sunrises are unbelievable with a large rock on the beach to watch them from on the beach every morning so you don’t get sandy if you don’t want to.

25th Anniversary

We were so happy with our stay at Rocks Retreat. Very clean. Very secluded. Short walk to the amazing beach. We snorkled and saw many beautiful fish right off the beach. So much beauty here! We fell asleep listening to the waves while relaxing on the loungers by the house our first day there! We didn't want to leave. Everything you need for a wonderful beach vacation was available at the house. The only thing we missed was a beach umbrella... This is a must stay place! We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you Marsha for your availability to answer our questions so quickly!🏝🌞❤

Amazing Property and Very Private and Secluded
