Clean and well stocked house with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Host was responsive and informative. House was comfortable (especially the beds), in a great location and well-kept. We would definitely stay there again.

Fabulous property with lots of home comforts and a lovely outdoor seating area. Lots of things left in the house for your convenience that you don’t need to go out and buy. Great location between MSU and Main St - highly recommend and would certainly stay again on our next visit - Thank you for hosting us!

Black Dog Hideaway was exceptional on all levels -- location to downtown area, cleanliness, it was well-equipped and well-stocked, architecturally and historically interesting, very spacious, and the list goes on and on. The primary suite was a 10 Plus. A huge dressing area and good closet space. The Black Dog checked all the boxes for our family of three. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the back patio each evening after a day of exploring the Bozeman and Big Sky areas, discussing all the fun we had -- over a glass of wine, of course. We highly recommend the Black Dog to anyone who wants a "cottage comfort" home away from home experience while staying in Bozeman.

Perfect place to stay!

We stayed here for MSU parents weekend, and it was perfect. The house is lovely, and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Couldn’t have asked for a better location.

We loved our stay in Susan’s beautiful and thoughtfully appointed home. Enjoyed walking and getting to know the neighborhood, took advantage of fun local shops and restaurants and appreciated all the helpful information from Susan regarding gorgeous Montana nature and attractions outside Bozeman. Looking forward to a return visit as soon as possible!

Yellowstone visit

As a resident of a historic registered home, this home made us feel just like we were back home in Rockford. The location was ideal to meet up with friends and venture into amazing Yellowstone. I recommend this property.

We adore historic homes and this one was exactly what we were looking for as we moved our last into college. We had a super comfortable stay and enjoyed all the beautiful and unique details maintained in this great property! We were able to walk to most places downtown and even north end of campus. Will try to stay here again!
