A beautiful property. Many places to visit that were only a short distance away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would definitely stay at Meekrat Manor again if we return to Cleveland. Thank you

This house was amazing for our group. It was spacious and had entertainment for kids and adults. They’ve done an amazing job on the renovation and we all slept so well because the beds are fantastic!

We had a wonderful and very relaxing time at this property. It was perfect for our small group. Our very minor questions were immediately answered and we felt so well taken care of. The linens, towels, and beds were so comfortable and we loved hanging out in the hot tub, around the large table, and in the two living areas. It a great place to be.

Meerkat Manor was just as described. Very comfortable beds. Lots of towels for showers and hot tub. Very pretty big old house. Wish we knew more about its history. Host was very responsive and allowed us to hang out in the house for an extra hour on last morning when our daughter locked her keys in her car and we needed AAA service. Great location for easy access to downtown and Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. We will be back!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We’re so glad you enjoyed Meerkat Manor and found the home comfortable, well-stocked, and convenient for exploring Cleveland. We’re happy we could give you a little extra time while waiting for AAA—sometimes those unexpected moments happen, and we’re always glad to help when we can. As for the history, that’s one of our favorite parts of the home! Meerkat Manor is a beautifully restored 1905 colonial, and we’ve worked hard to preserve its original character while adding modern comforts. We’d love to share more of its story with you on your next visit. Thank you again for staying with us. We truly appreciate your kind words, and we look forward to welcoming you back!

Meerkat Manor was all that it promised to be and more! We had 10 of us ladies for a cousins weekend and found the place immaculate and ever so comfortable! We had many laughs around the sitting areas and the hot tub. The beds were very comfortable! Easy drives to area attractions and friendly people! Look no further — this is where you need to stay for any family or friends gathering! Ryan and his team were so responsive and made it a truly memorable experience!

We fully enjoyed the ambience this place offered! The vintage characters of the house and the modern amenities along with having 5-king size beds in spacious rooms made this space a good fit for our party. Thanks to making this stay special for my 60th bday weekend!

Better than the pictures

Amazing communication, hosts, home, family get-a-way (with some work in the area). This is a gem in Cleveland! Quiet, peaceful and hope to be able to stay again when we come to the area. Pictures of home are beautiful but the home & ambiance you just have to experience yourself.

Thank you so much for the kind words! It means a lot to hear that the home gave you the peace and comfort you needed during your time in Cleveland. We’re so glad it lived up to (and hopefully exceeded!) the photos, and we’d absolutely love to welcome you back whenever you’re in town again. You were a wonderful guest!

Ryan is AMAZING!

The house is fantastic, all details have been thought through. Plenty of space, really clean, you can tell the owers have put much love into it. Ryan went way above and beyond the call of duty several times to accommodate every one of our needs...you won't go wrong staying here!

Our group enjoyed our stay and if in Cleveland, we would stay again. Meerkat Manor was clean, beautifully renovated and had plenty of space to accommodate our group of 8. We loved that every room had a king bed and the beds were very comfortable. The hot tub was clean and ready to use and the washer/dryer was nice to have to be wash towels. The house was located away from downtown but was close enough that we could get anywhere we wanted with 10-15 minutes. Ryan's communication was great and he always immediately responded. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Really cool house near Cleveland Clinic

This house is so cool - Just 2 of us, but so many beds and baths, great outside hot tub, location is awesome! Ryan, the owner was totally awesome - we had a question on hot tub, and he was right there to fix. Loved having washer/ dryer as well. We will definitely stay again. There was a pool table and Galaga machines, etc - We could use all as we had appointments. Oh, and an outside charcoal grill as well. The place is perfect for chilling in Cleveland, visiting the Cleveland Clinic and so close to downtown. We loved our time there. Thank you so much, Al and DAvid

Al and David—thank you both! I’m so glad you enjoyed the space (even with all those extra beds!) and got to kick back between appointments. It was a pleasure helping with the hot tub, and I love that you made time for some Galaga and pool too. Whether you’re back for more chill time, Clinic visits, or just a downtown getaway, you’re always welcome here. Really appreciate the kind words!

Spacious and Cozy home

This house is perfect for anyone who is visiting the Cleveland area. It's out of the way from the hustle and bustle but yet right around the corner, you can get to everything. The house is renovated and has everything you could possibly need and more. I believe they thought of everything! I love that there is a bedroom and bath downstairs with the living area. You can have a choice of where To sit and have your coffee because they have sitting/living rooms in several places on the main floor. This house accommodates a lot of people! Along with the master suite downstairs, there sre 5 bedrooms upstairs that are very spacious. One of the important things about renting a home, is communication and help from the sponsor/owner and I will have to say that Ryan was amazing! Everything I needed help with, he had an answer and if I messaged him, he immediately responded. We WILL be staying here again and we highly recommend this house to be your home away from home. Thank you again, Ryan. You are an awesome Host!

Comfortable beds and stocked kitchen, but not ideal for summer or toddlers

Comfortable beds and stocked kitchen, but not ideal for summer or toddlersThe house had some thoughtful features that made our stay easier, especially with young kids. The host was responsive and accommodating — they provided a pack and play and a toddler potty, which was very helpful. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the essential tools and even some basic spices, which made cooking convenient. Each bedroom had a comfortable king-size bed, which was a big plus. The location was central and made driving to restaurants and attractions quick and easy. However, there were several downsides that would keep me from booking again — especially during the summer. The way the house is designed causes the entire upstairs to get extremely hot in the afternoon. Even with the AC set to the lowest allowed temp (72F), it took a long time to cool down and made sleeping uncomfortable. The house also has two staircases — one of which is very steep, narrow, and definitely not toddler-friendly. It was hard to use even for adults and felt unsafe with small children around. For the price (4500), the property could benefit from some basic updates. Many of the doors had issues with latches and handles. At one point, my sister-in-law got locked in the bathroom and couldn’t get out — thankfully she had her phone and was able to call for help. We had to physically manipulate the door handle to get it open.
